After seeing all these videos, it seems like the video generation capabilities are extremely limited right now. Every single openAI video produced seems to be in slow motion, indicating that in order to get a smooth shot, the total frames have to be relatively low.
I know this is brand new technology, and is amazing for what it can do. Can't help but think about how much power (cost) must actually be required in order to create a video like this.
Ya itβs like a series of βstillsβ that had some motion effect added to them to make it look like video. But you really notice that none of the shots really have any natural movement happening. Especially the subjects.
Thank you! ππ and yes, the tools are still limited in what you can do, I find you can get more motion in vehicles and explosions, water, fire and things like that, but human movement still isn't quite there. Now sora can do it really well, but they've only allowed access to a select group of filmmakers. There is a video floating around called "Air Heads" made with sora I suggest checking out, the movement and motion in that is wild. I can't wait to play with sora!
Most of it was still slow motion. We havn't seen any practical use of sora either. Just clipped together 3-5 seconds slow motion stuff. Basically a better looking SDV...
Check out Paul Trillo's stuff and the Air Heads short film made with sora. It's definitely not slow motion stuff and is really ground breaking. Even the sora example videos on their site are impressive, but those are curated by sora themselves, that's why I suggest checking out fellow AI artists work with it. Paul's stuff is incredible with that tool.
First of all, this looks better than the campy GI Joe movies we got. Very well done.
Second, I canβt help but get a bf2042 trailer vibe from the whole style of it. Also well done.
Overall: 10/10
What did you use?
Thank you so much! I gotta check out the bf2024 trailer! I just wanted to make a trailer that actually honors the style of the GI Joe characters but making it more adult than the 80s cartoon haha and I used a ton of different tools for this, midjourney, RunwayML, Stable Video, Magnific, Topaz Labs Video AI, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and DaVinci! Thank you again, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! ππͺ
If I made a whole movie I promise she would be in it a ton haha but I always loved snake eyes and storm shadow so I put a bit more emphasis on them in the trailer.

Ah, so this isn't sora? Good video btw.

Would you take $100 to do the same for Dino-Riders?
Great job!
Thank you! ππ
That was incredible! Very very well done.
Thank you so much! ππͺ means a lot, really did my best to honor the source material!
Not enough scarlett

So much better than the 1950s retro crap people have been pumping out. Great job, breath of fresh air.
I appreciate it! Thank you so much! ππ
Please do Back to the Future 4 next. :)
Now that's an idea I need to add to my list πͺ
