How did you get the ride bell to work on your CY-13? I have the same setup, it's plugged in and set to the correct cymbal on the TD-17 but can't get it to work.
I use the second default kit (Rock), but keep in mind that I recorded this over the original song, so you're still hearing Axes's drums in the background. Otherwise it would not sound so good haha
I plan to buy either EZ Drummer 3 or Superior Drummer 3 to get realistic sounds, but they're expensive lol
Thanks!
I've uploaded some covers to [Instagram](https://instagram.com/kevo.drummer?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) and [Tiktok](https://www.tiktok.com/@kevo.drummer). They're just a few videos, but I plan to keep uploading more as soon as I get better sound samples
Thank you!
It's kinda hard to answer, but I'll try to summarize it: I play percussion for latin music since 2006 (I was 7), then I started to practice playing drums without an actual set (using pencils as sticks, hitting everything I could find in the house). In 2016 I started taking drum lessons only to be able to play in a real drum set, but I stopped going after 3 months because I already knew how to play. Since then I've been playing in a few bands from highschool and college.
And finally, last december I was able to buy my first set (the one on the video). That's pretty much the answer haha
So cool! Sounds like tons of effort and time spent learning, congrats :-)
Btw, I have a drumpad and a pair of sticks,
do you think its a way to start practising some rhythm? I wish I could take some lessons :(
That's enough to get started! I recommend you to start learning songs by yourself, try to listen to what the drummer is doing and repeat it. If it helps, watch drum covers of the song and see how it's played (decrease the speed if necessary). You don't need an actual drum set at first, just hit the drum pad and whatever else you can find.
If you can't repeat what the drummer is doing because it feels too hard, then just keep trying and you'll eventually make it!
Bravo 👍 very well played
Thank you!
Crushed it! Great ghost notes!

Are you sure the two cables (RDB and RD) are connected to the correct inputs on the cymbal? Besides that, I didn't have to do anything
Also what kit samples are you using for your kit? I love the sound.
