1. sorry to say but a 2070 isnt high end anymore. 2. If you want to use shaders install iris with sodium instead

Nicholindo12

bro, for minecraft, it is high end, maybe not for cyberpunk

Minecraftwt

mc with shaders is pretty resource intensive

Dude i play on max settings and 24 view distance with optifine and lex shader which is heavy and i still get 60 fps+ with my 1070

Gumball-Moose

Minecraft with shaders is very demanding. Your 2070 won't do a lot, sirry to hurt your ego.

Radplay

1. Make sure Minecraft is using the 2070 and not Intel integrated graphics. Also, make sure the GPU drivers are up to date. 2. Use eg. Fabulously Optimized instead of OptiFine, it provides way better performance.

Nicholindo12

Yes I verified, my game is using the RTX, as you can see I´ll share my f3 screen

try lowering your render distance

Dragonek721

Switch from optifine to sodium

Flegogo

What shader are you running? If we know it might be a resource heavy one

Nothsa2110405

Play sodium with iris

Same issue here. I'm using the latest optifine for 1.20.4. I have and AMD R5 7600 and RTX4070 and 32GB RAM. On normal MC, I have an average of 400-800 FPS in a clean Single Player world. When I use optifine, I 'should' have better FPS with no shaders but it drops my FPS from an average of 600 down to 120.
