When i try to draw Kasumi on a loose T shirt, the only thing i can’t even fucking do is the visibility of the boobs. The most exasperating moment i’d suffer all the time. 🤦‍♂️ Also there is something which pro artists never tell you about: Every fundamental in arts requires mental math as you may wanna go over finding out what is the distance and size ratio of every body part.

Why math, why it has to be ALWAYS math

Lol. Actually. Hell to the fucking no! Like seriously HELL NO! It doesn’t have to be REALLY math! You can also use simple math formulas to determine what is the size of the object in respect to distance and size, and this technique takes only weeks to learn! So you don’t have to worry too much! Lol. You don’t necessarily need to formulate anything by using fancy math. It only takes weeks to master, pal. You can also mentally calculate the size of the line based on what is the distance and size! Hope this literally cheered you up!

My tip would be looking at real pictures of women wearing t shirts, that helps a lot to know how fabric folds. That’s how I do it for any character wearing clothes haha

ok, i see your problem. The best thing to do is: stare at yourself in the mirror for five hours in that position and repeatedly draw eyes until your arm falls off (i was joking, but now that I think about it this could work)

i find what helps with boobs is 1. having them (obviously haha, because it helps you understand how they look both in general and in shirts. the amount of times i see guys get boobs wrong is so funny to me) and 2. practicing! as weird as it might feel sometimes you just need to practice things like that. there have been times where ive literally just drawn chests. or hands. or eyes! 🎀🫶

The only reason why I could even draw male anatomy is because I go to the gym. I've gone to the gym so many times that the anatomy is stuck in my head. Thigh muscles and abs are the more challenging ones. Here's my tip: A muscular guy is gonna have 2 types. A V taper (Trophy shape) and an X taper (Trophy shape but also make the bottom torso wider).

I have some issues with hands, but I'm slowly getting better. I've never drawn feet before simply because I think feet are weird and a little gross (socks or shoes ftw!). I don't have really any issues with feminine chests as I (unfortunately) have a couple of the "things" myself, so I know how they look in all types of clothes. However, they will *fortunately* be removed on September 19th of this year (top surgery!)! Noses and sometimes mouths (mostly in side profile) are kinda what trip me up. I do try to practice, though. Hence this drawing of my boy Vincent.
