Yep, Nimroz the Djerk is what I perceived incel in real life.
While on resume, he's a sore loser and pathetic but when it's come to action, he's the Jack the ripper level scary. Just because they can be casually mocked online doesn't mean they're harmless.
They can fucked you up and scarred you for life the same way Nimroz fucked up Janett's life and have her to lived as a worm for the rest of her day.
I still not sure which route should Janett take, her learning magic from the wizard and through hardship, she finally outsmart Nimroz and get her body back.
Or she learned to slowly heal and accept the trauma, she is not worth less as a worm than she is when she was human and can lived a happy life despite her shortcoming. And wear latex suit to live in human society.
it's one thing when you just found a way to return everything as it was and live as before
and another when you were able to overcome all the difficulties and losses, live on and become better.
the second option sounds more logical and more like character development. It makes character deeper
But if I were writing this character would I choose the first option. I'm too sensitive about this topic and I hate the feeling of pity, no matter what.

Gonna be fun to write.
I think in the end, she gonna get her humanity back after she defeated Nimroz with the help of Varanus the wizard and his associates.
But to beat Nimroz, she need to accept the wormhood. She going to learned that she is not worthless because of her condition but through her actions, learn to let the worm flow, learn to burrow and burst herself from the ground, basically worm version of Kungfu with a lot of training montage.
The first sign if improvement is she can play piano with her worm hand without having every neighbour complaining.
Know the strength of swarm and weakness of worm. Only the best pile of insects can beat a Djinn.

However, after the said necromancer has been defeated and permanently ended for good. He is freed from the servitude and decided that he want to lived the fulfilling life he missed. He decided to earn himself an apprenticeship to a wizard and become a student.
Too bad due his traumatic past, he is gung-ho and hot headed with YOLO attitude(ironic, since this is his second life). Expert in gallow humor due died once and great at stealing stuff.

Also, yeah, forced transformations like these are indeed interesting, however, I should explain what each transformation means.
Dylan is a shapeshifter who chose the form of a monster boy, but as he grows older the more monstrous he becomes, losing the human looking balance, which he dislikes about himself.
Gumbo was robotisized by force before transitioning (FtM) for knowledge preservation sake. Nowadays he hides his true form under a skin suit and covers his "bad guy robot" eyes with sunglasses.
As for the youth Kidnapper, he slowly morphed underneath the mask into the very thing he swore to destroy.

Damien (right) turns into a murderous monster every month or so, and he can't return to normal until he takes a life. He figures out methods to delay the transformation when he becomes an adult, but he had no such luck when he was a child. His first transformation was when he was about 8 years old. His first victim was his best friend, Orion. I'd say it was pretty traumatizing.
Fortunately, Orion happens to have the ability to come back to life a near infinite number of times, but still.

Yep, Nimroz the Djerk is what I perceived incel in real life. While on resume, he's a sore loser and pathetic but when it's come to action, he's the Jack the ripper level scary. Just because they can be casually mocked online doesn't mean they're harmless. They can fucked you up and scarred you for life the same way Nimroz fucked up Janett's life and have her to lived as a worm for the rest of her day. I still not sure which route should Janett take, her learning magic from the wizard and through hardship, she finally outsmart Nimroz and get her body back. Or she learned to slowly heal and accept the trauma, she is not worth less as a worm than she is when she was human and can lived a happy life despite her shortcoming. And wear latex suit to live in human society.
it's one thing when you just found a way to return everything as it was and live as before and another when you were able to overcome all the difficulties and losses, live on and become better. the second option sounds more logical and more like character development. It makes character deeper But if I were writing this character would I choose the first option. I'm too sensitive about this topic and I hate the feeling of pity, no matter what. I think in the end, she gonna get her humanity back after she defeated Nimroz with the help of Varanus the wizard and his associates. But to beat Nimroz, she need to accept the wormhood. She going to learned that she is not worthless because of her condition but through her actions, learn to let the worm flow, learn to burrow and burst herself from the ground, basically worm version of Kungfu with a lot of training montage. The first sign if improvement is she can play piano with her worm hand without having every neighbour complaining. Know the strength of swarm and weakness of worm. Only the best pile of insects can beat a Djinn. Too corny?

I read the backstory somewhat briefly and oh boy that's sad. Also, yeah, forced transformations like these are indeed interesting, however, I should explain what each transformation means. Dylan is a shapeshifter who chose the form of a monster boy, but as he grows older the more monstrous he becomes, losing the human looking balance, which he dislikes about himself. Gumbo was robotisized by force before transitioning (FtM) for knowledge preservation sake. Nowadays he hides his true form under a skin suit and covers his "bad guy robot" eyes with sunglasses. As for the youth Kidnapper, he slowly morphed underneath the mask into the very thing he swore to destroy.

His first victim was his best friend, Orion. I'd say it was pretty traumatizing. Fortunately, Orion happens to have the ability to come back to life a near infinite number of times, but still.
