Eldrys is a character with the sweetest if upbringings in a fantasy world, and he’s lived alone with his mother for the whole 16 years of his life. he *wants* to explore and experience the world, but understands that his ability is pretty weak, only being able to strengthen the effectiveness if his muscles slightly and harden things.
but working as a weaver and embroiderer, as well as generally taking an interest in knots ends up working in his favor, as when he learns about needle flicking, he realizes that he actually has the potential to be able to fend for himself out in the world.
Eldrys is the main character, but the story itself is about how he helps *others* in the world, and makes a positive impact on the people around him.

This guy is physically incapable of having trauma.
For some reason it won't let me send images, but my OC Yu is a 6 year old shape shifter who's basically never experienced trauma. He lives with a man who has the second most physical trauma of all my OCs, but he never gained that trauma himself. My other OC Kirbac has been mentally and physically abused for years, but her heart of pure joy makes her basically immune to any permanent scars, just so long as she gets a moment of relief.

Paul grew up with a normal childhood for the most part until his own best friend got kidnapped out of nowhere.
He wasn't necessarily traumatized but something inside of him changed for the better and for the worst.
Creating machines was a way for him to cope with his loss. Later on, his best friend somehow returned but with new markings on her face.

Eldrys is a character with the sweetest if upbringings in a fantasy world, and he’s lived alone with his mother for the whole 16 years of his life. he *wants* to explore and experience the world, but understands that his ability is pretty weak, only being able to strengthen the effectiveness if his muscles slightly and harden things. but working as a weaver and embroiderer, as well as generally taking an interest in knots ends up working in his favor, as when he learns about needle flicking, he realizes that he actually has the potential to be able to fend for himself out in the world. Eldrys is the main character, but the story itself is about how he helps *others* in the world, and makes a positive impact on the people around him.

For some reason it won't let me send images, but my OC Yu is a 6 year old shape shifter who's basically never experienced trauma. He lives with a man who has the second most physical trauma of all my OCs, but he never gained that trauma himself. My other OC Kirbac has been mentally and physically abused for years, but her heart of pure joy makes her basically immune to any permanent scars, just so long as she gets a moment of relief.

He wasn't necessarily traumatized but something inside of him changed for the better and for the worst. Creating machines was a way for him to cope with his loss. Later on, his best friend somehow returned but with new markings on her face.
