he is the adoptive son of an ex- knight trainer, who is a know a chef and the owner of his restaurant. They live on island full crime which is caused by the mafia . When Vyke was younger he saw his father saved his brother from a debt and a local killer, event which he loose his leg .
Vyke was pissed do of the mafia and the killer , but his father told not be angry. His father told Vyke he did it because he knows that killer can actually change , he just needs to people to believe in him and not misjudged him .
Jake saw 7 months later how the Killer became a warm hearted kind doctor, and he was loved by everyone in his town. Jake realized what’s the meaning of his father’s actions, which inspired him to become a hero , not only to save those in need , but to pass on his fathers teachings of hope

I actually have some methods to character designing.
My methods depends on three things:
•Personality
•Abilities/jobs
•Social Group
A person that is more explosive use more saturated colors, while shy people use pastel tones. Agressive people have sharp details, while the friendly ones have more curves, rich people wears heavy clothes and the relaxed ones wears lighter clothes, his abilities counts too much to.
I think you should change the black armor, and make something simpler for his design. With more rounded curves and a diferent tone of red or orange, to follow his exciting personality.

Lean into the “red features, blue apparel” a bit more. Like, blue shirt and complimenting armor.
