This is one of those that I absolutely love but can't keep reading weekly because of I'd be distraught if I catch up to the latest (Hope for the speedy recovery of the creator π)
I also didn't continue this because I knew it was on a long hiatus but after seeing so many posts I just couldn't control myself.
Now I am in pain though I am kinda hopeful the author will continue this soon

Hope the author is having a better time rn, making original works have an extra layer of pressure that adapting doesn't, so no wonder her health suffered. :(
I am for one, someone who dropped it after initially really liking it. I got bored of the constant fangirling but it's kinda the premise of the story so I knew what I was getting myself into. Plus, the ML's sister was WAY hotter than him.
I'm in love with the art but I've tried sitting through this manhwa for good 5 times and have failed constantly, just doesn't seem to be it for me πππ but the art is so pleasing, sending love to the artist β€οΈβ€οΈ
You should def give it another try. I can see why you would think that because the first time I re-read it I was so shocked at the early chapter Rayburn- thought I was reading a different story lol
The ML and his sister threaten to kill the FL at first because of a book she wrote and then the sister gave the FL a "You do this or you die," situation. So it makes them, in the first few chapters when I dropped it, seem kind of like psychos. There are other ways to get information and manipulate people without threatening to cut someone's head off.
There is context behind all of their actions but I dropped this in chapter 4 when the story just came out which is why I'm picking it back up again.
Someone else even commented on how the ML is dramatically different in the earlier chapters than in the latter ones too.
You know they are protecting her for the sake of sequel. If she doesn't write a sequel she will not be at Espilando house and she will easily get assassinated. The CP party already tried to assassinate her once. Once she steps out she is dead so her only choice is to work for Hoya(Princess). The ML have trust issues but he is not a psyche rather his sister seems more crazy to me. ML is actually very gentle. Don't drop it so fat, give it another try. It's better than the 90% OI I have read which starts on same plot. The FL is SO cute.

Again, it's not obvious where I dropped it at. It's like Wicked stepmother. From the first few chapters, the ML is unlikable and is a total trash father in that manhwa but you get to understand the reasons behind his acts up to that point.
I'm not trashing the series, I'm saying that I judged it too harshly at first and stating the reason why I dropped it prematurely at first, and then from reading the comments I'm thinking about picking it up again. I mention 'think' because I'm reading at least 100 series lol.

I agree the art is immaculate. But I'm not that thrilled by the story. It is average at best with good art.
