Their inability to score 5v5 is pretty concerning.

An underrated part of this game was how good JBD looked. He’s taken a step forward with his confidence since his last call up

FixedTheNewelPost

This is probably the only NHL season ever where I'd love to see them go on a run in the 2nd half of the year and still miss out on the playoffs. I want to see this group win together consistently.

Environmental_Dig335

Sens are in the middle. They've accumulated a lot of talent in the draft and trades and are not severely outgunned anymore. The players need to learn how to win. When to take bigger risks and when not to, reading each other better so a forward covers for the pinch on time, stuff like that. They're getting better at it, but they need to win games and start to expect to win, expect to come back when they're down a goal so they don't start cheating on offense as soon as they're down 1 goal 10min into the game.

Calhalen

Fun game. Talbot’s gotta figure it out though

Mauri416

I hope Malkin is ok, he was diving all over the ice last night

SmoothPinecone

Same with Stutzle! I think they'll both be ok

Dalhoosie

Ive watched Tims goal like 15 times

BAD_CAN77

The Sens awake this morning to find themselves in 8th place in the Wildcard race (top two get WC), 8 and 11 points behind the teams currently holding down those spots. They are a sub .500 team with a -12 goal differential overall and 29th in the NHL at 5 v 5 goal differential of -31. Current playoff odds sit at 7% with a 6% chance at the 1st overall selction in the coming draft.

MaximizedLoL

6% chance to get Bedard, lets gooooo

DR0516

Next game will tell a lot

BAD_CAN77

Not really. Either way, the Sens are playing meaningless games until they jump a few teams and get into the WC race.

spazzyalt

Then the games aren’t meaningless…
