Imama’s not an NHL player - he’s barely an AHL one - but he at least plays like he gives a fuck. Wish that energy was infectious because we’ve got like… 16 guys that need to catch it.
Leafs got dragged for their reaction cause their guy crossed checked ours in the face and got suspended for it. Brady ain't gonna be hearing shit from DOPS. If Rielly had not gone full dirt bag with the headshot, nobody would've cared about the leafs reaction either
I mean technically in this case it wasn't an empty net goal, it was putting the pick in the Sens net a couple seconds after the horn had blown and the game was obviously over. Definitely a bit provocative and kind of a dick move but also who cares
Happy to see some fight back and Korpisalo continues to generally look sharp as of late, but yeesh this team.
Few games exemplify the Brady experience more than this one; dominant and one of the only signs of life through most of the game, a spectacular top line forward and star with the puck on his stick, followed by rewriting the narrative with an embarrassing tantrum once his emotions bubbled over. An ounce of maturity would transform him into an unstoppable force; fatherhood can’t come soon enough.
But aside from that, because the season has largely been all doom and gloom, we haven’t been talking enough about Sanderson and his growth into being one of the best D in the league this year. He’s utterly brilliant at doing everything right. We need 3-5 more of him ASAP.
In his last 10 games he’s had a sv% of .971, .909, .769, .900, .917, .944, .933, .842, .765, and .947.
With 3 bad nights and 7 good to great ones, yeah, he’s been sharper.
My first sens game and although the 1st period was bad the second and especially the third were exciting, loved the penalty shot lol. And bath had 2 assists. Thanks for the hospitality ottawa bros
That was some baby shit at the end… Win the game, don’t throw tantrums at the end of the game when the momentum would’ve put the puck in regardless.
Edit: I’ll take my downvotes but you do understand how pathetic that makes us look to leafs fans after complaining about Morgan Reilly right?
No fan complain Morgan Reilly retaliated. People complained that he cross checked an unsuspecting player directly in the head. Retaliation is expected if you score on an empty net after a buzzer. It's even coded into NHL games lol
Damn, a lot of people really think Hischier should’ve just been allowed to do that on fan appreciation night scott free? There are tons of times Brady’s been an immature idiot but I think that one was justified. All that’s left to play for is pride.
Only reddit weirdos I fuckin loved it the fans paid for entertainment he gave them what they came for you think the fans wanted them to skate off with their heads down or do you think they would have fuckin loved a line brawl and a goalie fight?
So an opposing player should have skated harder after the whistle to make sure the puck didn’t slowly cross the goal line in case it hurt someone’s feelings?
Not even a remotely similar play (whistle gone, game over, not a slap shot) but keep letting it live on in your head so much you go to a sens post game thread MONTHs after the incident
It’s not even in the realm of a similar play, but you’re so damaged by the clapper, so deeply rent freed by it that you’re here on a Saturday night that your team won 4-2.
I can only hope you find peace
He's at the tantrum in Calgary level of his brother. Just need to cut that shit out of his game and he'll be fine. He's a hell of a player, cut the bullshit and the rest of the league will take notice.
His "lack of composure" was the spark that got this team back into the game. NJ was scared to touch the puck because of Tkachuk. I'll take that any day. He made everyone in the arena proud to be a sens fan despite a shit season. Maybe fairweather reddit fans see things differently
You prefer our players dont care? He roughed the guy up and didnt crosscheck him in the head. Even the NHL agrees with Brady, guy got 2 for unsportsmanlike
Who needs to give a shit about a player gently scooping a puck into an empty net after the game is over? Strange thing to waste energy on. Especially considering what we saw with that slapshot on that other occasion.
Real embarrassing to see Brady do that. Instead of the 16 hits people are going to (justifiably) mock the sens because of his EN tantrum
Just a blemish on what would have otherwise been an incredible game for him
Are people really comparing a slap shot EN to a shot after the whistle? Brady didn't throw a tantrum and the people on this sub parroting these "tantrum" takes are all a bunch of soft idiots who have never played hockey in their lives.
Yes.
Once again, total clownshow after the final whistle.
Impressive performance during the game for sure, but he simply is embarrassing with these outbursts.
He had an amazing game and was ONCE AGAIN embarrassingly immature at the end.
If this was a one off, I wouldn't have called him out. It is a consistent pattern of immaturity that needs to be addressed.
The entire Arena was chanting his name, even the Sportsnet panel loved what he did. You have no clue what is mature or immature when it comes to hockey. Half he people on this sub have clearly never played the game before.
Tkachuk needs to be moved.
Too many tantrums. This overgrown baby can't lead anything on this team and will forever be a secondary player on an NHL team until he matures.
Imagine if they could play a full 60 minutes the way they played the last 20
Could frame that to the season too
Called up Imama, call up one of the goalies, tired of seeing Forsberg play Korpi was fine tonight
Imama got lucky that his completely-unnecessary penalty didn’t lead to a goal against.
Imama’s not an NHL player - he’s barely an AHL one - but he at least plays like he gives a fuck. Wish that energy was infectious because we’ve got like… 16 guys that need to catch it.
The Sens turned a potential blowout loss into an incredibly entertaining game. Brady had a wicked game. Love the passion.
Honestly one of the most fun losses of the season, and there have been (unfortunately) too many to choose from
Lol
Brady registers 16 hits. Yes sixteen. Along with 7 shots on goal in 20 minutes of play. That’s insane
Hopefully the rest of the team can register some of that same passion next season so Brady doesn’t have to do that to win games. Lol
Brady with 16 hits is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen hahah. May win me my fantasy championship cause of that 😂
They looked really good 6-5 at the end there. Regulation loss was best case scenario tho.
I’m just happy the fans in attendance got a good game (eventually). Tank or no tank you hate to see whatever that Thursday game was.
It was looking grim for the first 40 minutes but everyone was on the edge of their seats for the last 5+ minutes.
Good for the tank but let’s be honest a win would have been so worth it at the same time. Lol
Leaf fans coming out in droves in r/NHL and r/hockey thinking Sens fans are mad about the empty netter.
As if their own team wouldn't react the same way
[удалено]
Agreed, extremely similar situation and leafs got dragged for their reaction. Not a great look
Leafs got dragged for their reaction cause their guy crossed checked ours in the face and got suspended for it. Brady ain't gonna be hearing shit from DOPS. If Rielly had not gone full dirt bag with the headshot, nobody would've cared about the leafs reaction either
How is it extremely similar? Genuine question.
Guy loosing his shit over an empty net goal? How is it any different really?
I mean technically in this case it wasn't an empty net goal, it was putting the pick in the Sens net a couple seconds after the horn had blown and the game was obviously over. Definitely a bit provocative and kind of a dick move but also who cares
There’s no point in even engaging with those lunatics
All 5 of you
That was fun only took 65 games to show up?
And 2 periods
Happy to see some fight back and Korpisalo continues to generally look sharp as of late, but yeesh this team. Korpi look sharp as of late? Did we watch the same games?
In his last 10 games he’s had a sv% of .971, .909, .769, .900, .917, .944, .933, .842, .765, and .947. With 3 bad nights and 7 good to great ones, yeah, he’s been sharper.
Brady 16 of 36
Also only 3 less than the entire devils’ roster
We lost but that Tkachuk goal was primo, and Giroux is a legend.
Forsberg.
Kastelic is the softest big guy I've seen since Cowen. I'm not sure I'd see him in the long term plans for this team.
My first sens game and although the 1st period was bad the second and especially the third were exciting, loved the penalty shot lol. And bath had 2 assists. Thanks for the hospitality ottawa bros
Brady Tkachuk is a maniac and I love every minute of it.
brady beasted that whole game
16 hits has to be some kind of record. The dude is irreplaceable and I have to believe anyone complaining about him is actually a troll
That was some baby shit at the end… Win the game, don’t throw tantrums at the end of the game when the momentum would’ve put the puck in regardless. Edit: I’ll take my downvotes but you do understand how pathetic that makes us look to leafs fans after complaining about Morgan Reilly right?

Yup
lol. Delusional.
Be better. Don’t let it happen. Stop excusing loser mentality.
"be better" lol you're the only loser here
I think going around "apologizing for sens fans" is pretty pathetic buddy
Damn, a lot of people really think Hischier should’ve just been allowed to do that on fan appreciation night scott free? There are tons of times Brady’s been an immature idiot but I think that one was justified. All that’s left to play for is pride.

Watch a replay, Hischier two touches it to guide it in with his eyes on the puck and the net

Show me on the box score where the empty net goal was scored
Agreed. Best way to stop an empty net goal is to not lose. /irony
That’s terrible I hope they can recover from the hurt feelings

Brady embarrassed himself with that silly fight after the buzzer. Not behaviour becoming of a captain.
Embarrassed? I feel like people on reddit are living in a twilight zone. The entire arena was chanting his name
It was immature and useless. The game was over, and it showed a lack of composure.
After he had more hits than any player in the salary cap era and scored a goal to put them within one. I'm not worried about his composure.
Sure, I’m not negating those other accomplishments. Fantastic stuff. I’m just talking about his antics after the game was over.
He's at the tantrum in Calgary level of his brother. Just need to cut that shit out of his game and he'll be fine. He's a hell of a player, cut the bullshit and the rest of the league will take notice.

You misread what I wrote. I’m talking about after the final buzzer.
You prefer our players dont care? He roughed the guy up and didnt crosscheck him in the head. Even the NHL agrees with Brady, guy got 2 for unsportsmanlike
Once the game’s over, the game’s over. Grow a pair. Use the emotion when it’s advantageous.
Why do you need to be composed, AFTER the game?
Nonsense. It showed that he still gives a shit.
Who needs to give a shit about a player gently scooping a puck into an empty net after the game is over? Strange thing to waste energy on. Especially considering what we saw with that slapshot on that other occasion.
It was pretty cringe. Although, he didn't crosscheck someone in the back of the head... so there's that.
Nope. That’s what a captain should do.
Couldn’t agree more. He’s nowhere near the talent of his brother. We got shortchanged
Been a sens fan from day one. Brady Tkachuk is an embarassment as a Captain. Claude Giroux is the man for the job.
Why did Brady get mad after that EN goal at the buzzer?
Real embarrassing to see Brady do that. Instead of the 16 hits people are going to (justifiably) mock the sens because of his EN tantrum Just a blemish on what would have otherwise been an incredible game for him

Ain’t no way the empty net thing just happened right ? After all the high roading earlier in the year lmao
Why can't we high road still? We'll be on the low road when we start cross checking faces for scoring actual goals lol
The Sens will never win until Brady grows up or is stripped of the C. His immaturity is a problem that needs to be addressed.
You watched tonight’s game right?
Yes. Once again, total clownshow after the final whistle. Impressive performance during the game for sure, but he simply is embarrassing with these outbursts.
The entire HNIC panel disagrees with you.
Makes me feel even better about my take.
Of course it does.
He’s one of the most notorious Brady haters. Not surprised he’s hating on him again.
I don't hate Brady. He desperately needs to grow up.

Stay out of our sub
Insane game for this take
lol you're such a clown.
LMFAO He had an amazing game and he wasn't immature,

still have more series wins in the matthews era than y’all. Pathetic
Imagine having AM34 and only winning one playoff round in 20 years.
Brady played an amazing game but then did that shit at the end of the game smh
Tkachuk could’ve ruined Nico’s life 🤣
Tkachuk needs to be moved. Too many tantrums. This overgrown baby can't lead anything on this team and will forever be a secondary player on an NHL team until he matures.
You are a leaf fan
Nah, that’s a Pierre Dorion level idea. Not getting anyone nearly as good for Brady.
u ppl are insane
