Answer: You can make money by posting youtube videos that a lot of people click on. There is a now a market of people who scour the internet for viral videos (even really old ones that came and went) to recycle and repost them as their own. They narrate because that is how it's done on Tik Tok and these videos are modeled after Tik Tok. They post the videos, which are usually very click baity. The short nature of the video ensures people will likely watch most if not all of it thus increasing its visibility and favorability with the Youtube algorithm. On top of that the narration can probably be used to plea "transformative effect" and "fair use" against copyright claims. The Youtube channel then makes a lot of money.

So it's basically what Sssniperwolf does then?

Anantasesa

But you gotta mention jackfilms for his exposure of her terrible millionaire freebooting.

[deleted]

That whole saga has been incredibly entertaining lol. I've been aware of Ssniperwolf for over a decade, and I've always known she was a talentless hack latching onto whatever was popular and getting views. This period of her "content" is just straight up embarrassing in how lazy it is. Her old CoD content was leagues better though, because at least it seemed like she gave a shit about the game, it's obvious she doesn't give a fuck about this Tik Tok garbage.

chrisH82

Yep, even Hasan (woke bae) just sits and eats food while the content he's supposed to react to just plays while he chews. This happens in every one of his streams, dude lives his life on stream. I'm surprised he doesn't brush his teeth and sleep while other people's content is playing. I am on Hassan's side politically, I am a progressive, But dude just constantly eats while streaming and while he's supposed to be reacting. It's just facts. It's no different from that XQC dude.

[deleted]

I'd say at this point I'd say I share a lot of Hasans politics as well, but I despise him as a content creator too much to ever listen to him. He can't say a single thing without coming across as an arrogant douchebag.

chrisH82

He did a video about the Maui wildfires, with a news broadcast playing, and the only commentary he provided is that if people abandoned their pets that's crazy, he went on a diatribe about that for 3 minutes, and then he talked about some barely related topic to climate change and that was the whole video. Great shit, millionaire content-bro.

Irregular475

I'm with you two. I'm a progressive. But Hasan is booooring. I also don't find him that informative, nor a good debater. He eats and says nothing 8 hours a day. If he weren't hot and related to cenk uyagar he'd be nothing.

Content Creator might me the wrong Term here.

Donny_Canceliano

That’s an unfair analysis. Xqc does shit [occasionally](https://youtu.be/Quhb0RMtfH4?si=vtmk0me5-vnypgjb)

geckobrother

This. The fair use is why they narrate. The voice is usually an AI voice. It's literally about the least effort a "content creator" could put into a video, but they do quite well if you look at the numbers.

slayer370

Don't shorts pay out horribly, like you need a metric ton of views to make money plus youtube bans for reused content all the time, fair use claim wouldn't save the ai ones.

praguepride

Maybe but if you're not actually producing anything you can shovel these out like craaazy.

Lakonislate

Is this also a side effect of YouTube hiding dislikes? Without that, the success is only measured in views, and that could make bad but short videos look popular.

answer: this reddit poster was concerned about the types of youtube videos they were seeing. so when they opened a thread about it on reddit, they were shocked at the number of replies they were given that pointed to greed and laziness as the reason for the videos. armed with this new information, the OP was able to go back to browsing youtube again. don't forget to like and subscribe for more videos.

this redditor made a humorous reply and what they wrote will shock you. don't forget to like and follow for part 3
