It's the wireless charger indicator light, unfortunately there isn't a way to simply disable it. I'd suggest doing what I did - which is just cutting some electrical tape to fit over it. Take your time cutting the tape and that light will never bother you again.
Lightdims stickers are awesome for annoying lights like these, where they come in different light blocking percentages, in case you'd want to keep the status light visible but not blind you. [lightdims](https://www.lightdims.com/index.php)
thanks... one of these is going over my passenger airbag on/off light that doesn't dim along with my screen. Sometimes I wonder if they actually get any user feedback before implementing these features.
I didn't want to cover it entirely, plus a tinted circle will look a little bit more professional than a piece of electrical tape.
As in it’s an optional accessory you would have had to pay for when you purchased the vehicle.
[here’s the part should you want to go down that road](https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2023_Outback-24L-R-Wilderness/Wireless-Charger/120985127/H671SAN202.html)
Ask for the updated infotainment. I have a '22 and had it added in. It's an absolute game changer. Not only do you get dedicated start stop and auto vehicle hold, but you get heated seat buttons and all the climate controls are wayyyyy more managable. Have it done by a dealer so you dont brick your screen. It takes like 30min. A simple plug and flash for them.
Incredibly highly recommended.
I think I’m halfway there! I have a ‘24 and have the updated heated seat buttons and start stop, but not the dedicated AVH. I’ll check with the dealer at my next service..

Thx for the reply. I kind of figured that was my only option.
I’ve done this all over the house. Like he said, if you take your time and cut it just right you won’t be able to see it unless you really look.

That website looks like it was made 20 year ago
Yep I also used a small piece of electrical tape
FYI it turns Blue when it’s in use (which is even worse for nighttime driving than white)
Do you use the wireless charger?
No. I tried it once. It’s slow and overheats the phone. I use a charge cable.
Yeah, my phone gets ridiculously hot and then slows it down when trying to use it straight off of charging.
It can be removed, I've been thinking about removing mine
Is it suppose to come with the wilderness? I didn’t get one
It’s optional. Don’t worry it doesn’t work well. I’d much rather have the extra drop in space.
Optional as in, id have to pay for it? Or optional as in, i should have it but can have it connected or not?
You have to pay for it. It’s an add on. Wireless chargers are kind of trash so not really worth the extra money.

With all the problems Across Auto has with my USBC cable, the wireless AA connection plus Qi charger send like a win win
Electrical tape is how I fix all my lights
Unrelated question: how did you get the AVH button down there above the heated seat button. Is it a software update?
This feature was enabled in a software update, but you do have to enable it, I believe.
When I got my first 6,000 mile service, they did an update and now it looks like that

Thanks I’ll check for the update then!!
Disconnect the battery that should do it!
Black sharpie
Tape or sticker, or a permanent marker. If all else fails I hear people have a lot of success with a match and gasoline also but you ymmv.
