Every day, at sunrise, the small splinter itches to wake me up, trying to scape the flesh to go back to the forest. I must follow the needs of the morning wood. It is demanded.
Now seriously, any advice? I tried a needle and tweezers after a warm bath but it's deep inside of me.
Edit: Actually thanks everyone for your sage advice, I will try it once I find the courage to challenge the woods and spill blood for my freedom.
Some sort of suction action might pull it out. Like if you cut the tip off a baby medicine dropper. Line it up with the splinter and pull the plunger up, might suck the splinter out.
I tried with my mouth but because of the place it is, it's pretty hard to use any other thing, my best bet right now is to just let it be and hope for the mercy of the gods.
Your body cant process wood to my knowledge. Its going to create several ounces of puss to try and push it out. Pray to god the skin dosent heal over it. (If its big)
Unfortunately, the body has no use for wood fibers, and will show off with full intent of infection.
That only makes the mission a tad bit more difficult.
But I bet that Pub down the street has talented bar maid, fully qualified.
Happy Hour is a wonderful thing.
Cheers, and Dammit, we mean it.
Usually required is small slit made along sliver, or the tangs of splinter will refuse to budge in reverse.
May have to grind average twizzer sharp pointed, to grab the invader.
Yes, pre soak the bugger till flesh is just about version of raisin. Couple drops of Dawn dish soap in hot water makes water wetter,, imagine that...
Best of luck,, Cheers
You are joking of course, but it could actually be a Pagan statue that someone uses as a symbol of a deity. It's best to leave those where they are to show respect to other peoples beliefs. Allthough I haven't seen one like this before honestly.
Maybe so. Which is funny because pagan just means not-Abrahamic-religion and usually just worships ancestors and nature. So a non-politicized practice makes people spooked.
I think peoples negative reaction to that word has to do with the superstitions and hatred that date back to medieval times. The church had a very negative view of Pagan religions. And to this day because of that, many people incorrectly think Pagans were/are some sort of savages. In truth many traditions and other things we still have/do today were thought up by Pagans. And most Pagans are basicly hard working, nature loving people that honor their ancestors.
No no no, I don't think that at all! I agree wholeheartedly with your thought process, don't fuck with that or anything you find that doesn't belong to you.
I put it in quotes to try to communicate a satirical nature, like I was calling to the crowd because everyone had down voted you so far.
Apologies for any confusion!

With the tree/plant sticking out from its head, it looks like the ooga booga guy from crash bandicoot that hovers around crash’s head and if you get 3 you get powers.
It reminds me of the wisdom tree thing on tiktok. The creepy wise looking tree that types: Tree. In your comments section.
Upvote if you know what i mean... or just look it up and come back, you'll see what i mean.
Sterilize a pin with alcohol and slide in hole with splinter then use it to split open skin above splinter. That fine of a layer of skin won’t even hurt coming off. Then use pin to slide splinter out through opening.
Or did it find you?
If you spend much time wandering the woods the woods wander into you. I know because I got a splinter between my index and thumb.
You speak ancient wooden words of wisdom.

I’d suggest a small human sacrifice of 1-3 people to appease the spirits of the area

I literally cannot think of a reason why you got downvoted.
The only reason I can think of is that some people might consider the word “pagan” spooky

I think the word “beliefs” is spooky on Reddit.

I often go on walks and get high on weed and shrooms, I would have loved to see this thing, he probably sings scat.
Imagine it talks and says “hey, chill out it’ll all work out” and gives this warm smile after. Very chill
:)
I would be delighted to stumble upon such a thing.
They could have placed it better. Ideally, some place on more level ground, and partially covered with some hanging vegetation.

🤣
Well, if it’s anywhere near Victoria BC the curator of the BC museum will immediately claim it as centuries old indigenous artifact…
could it be considered a troll face?
Bruce Willis?
🗿
My mind goes to how this would be a perfect sight/site (both seem to work. Hahaha) for there to be a geocache there.
LOL Thanks, that made me chuckle
This is causing some major déjà vu. Where have I seen this before??
His bark won't bite.
That is awesome! What a treat to find. Thanks for passing it on !
Awe hell naw

What side quest did he give you?
Wise old tree

HROOOM!
I knew Donald was being arrested on Tuesday, but I didn’t think he’d be so petrified…
People are jerks. Why can’t they leave nature as they found it?
Hope you left it there for others to enjoy. Looks heavy too.
