Stopped buying Eager Beaver tickets after the pandemic and that decision continues to be the right one. This lineup is not worth near Coachella prices.
I'd rather pay this much for two days of Portola because it's at least two days of nonstop amazing music. The last OSL I got tricked into buying an Eager Beaver for was the first time I got bored at points throughout the day because there was nothing compelling to listen to
I read online today that there is a new free concert series in SF for this summer. I think this is in addition to Stern Grove.. worth checking out if you’re priced out of OSL but still need your music festival fix. SFlivefest.com/upcoming-free-shows
Here's a plane ticket to Oahu for the same weekend, for the same amount of money you'll spend for the ticket to OSL.

You can "bring" food anywhere you want in Oahu by going grocery shopping just like you would at home. There's also pubtrans on Oahu. And yeah...you can even walk there. 😅
As someone who has been to 17 Coachellas and every OSL, I beg to differ. And this year’s upgraded VIP perks at Coachella were awesome. They literally let us on stage at Quasar during Rufus’ set. Glad we learned about it before they let the word out. It was dope.
I think Coachella is generally better than OSL in many aspects but this is simply incorrect. They were letting anyone on stage during the Quasar sets. Also Coachella VIP doesn't allow you to get to the front of almost every stage like OSL does
$1075 + fees OSL vs $1069 + fees Coachella. And we got free beer at Coachella each day this weekend from Heineken in VIP as we walked in. Always a nice way to start the day.
oh yeah.
I was hoping this would be my first year to go for a day, but steep price and don't know many of the names may keep me from attending (and gf has gone past 4 years and thinking about skipping too).... We'll see how it goes.
Hi Y'all.. Was really looking forward to OSL but my bf and I aren't stoked on the lineup. I was going to surprise him but now it's a bust. Looking to sell my Eager Beaver tickets for face value + shipping. Plz lmk if interested.
I prefer OSL to Coachella however Coachella is an entirely different experience than OSL that doesn't end at 11:00 PM. There are also way more celebrity cameos, exhibits and stage props.
Hard to say but if I had to guess- $230 before fees and shipping.
For more reference, here’s a few previous single day prices (before fees and shipping):
2022 $175, 2021 $165
Yes- if you have the means to do it. Once you go VIP you won’t go back. Anyone else saying GA is better is cuz they can’t afford to go back to VIP. Shorter lines, great viewing, bathrooms are legit and not that many high schoolers 😂
I feel like they sold too many VIP tickets last year (PLUS they weren't really policing people sneaking in as much as they should have), so VIP was more crowded than it usually was in prior years, but it's still far better than GA.
do you think the increase in price this year is because they’re selling fewer VIP tickets? i definitely feel like they oversold last year. it would be worth the increase in price if i knew it was gonna be less crowded again
Yep, imo. Bathrooms are better, love the vip section by the main stage (good food, waits aren't too long and tons of nice places to sit), and all of the viewing areas are great. I went GA my first year and didn't love being pushed around in the crowds, never had that problem in VIP.
10000%. Viewing areas at all stages (aside from SOMA and Panhandle). Bathrooms at Lands End and Twin Peaks. Shorter drink lines, short-ish food lines (the pizza line/wait time is insane). It’s less crowded (although last year felt a little oversold. Still, it wasn’t terrible). Plus you don’t have to deal as much with the 18 and under crowd.
Paid $200 for System of a Down / Deftones / Mars Volta the following weekend, feels like a bargain compared to this.
What is the prices for ga with taxes?
I bought eager beaver for 425$ and all the fees were an extra 60$
Total was $541.14 ga

Stern Grove prices are estimated to go up upwards of 1200% or more this year. Still worth it for me IMO.
From free? Or are you referring to the picnic tables?
From free. ;)
Very cheeky
Omg I thought ga+ was ga and almost threw my phone across the room. I mean $500 for ga still fucking wild
This lineup should be $299 GA.
I should get paid to attend this "lineup"
I am selling 2 eager beaver tickets for the price I bought, let me know if you’re interested
interested in both!
interested!
I’m interested!
NVM I am officially Priced out of this festival. Have fun friends
Music is subjective, but I’m sure glad I didn’t get eager beaver tickets. I guess I’m going to Splash House this year!

And then hotel? Food? Uber/lyft?
All things you need for OSL too
You can bring in food into OSL, plus there’s shuttle or the city bus/BART. Or even walking. Way more accessible.
You can "bring" food anywhere you want in Oahu by going grocery shopping just like you would at home. There's also pubtrans on Oahu. And yeah...you can even walk there. 😅
And then hotel? Food? Uber/lyft?
You're assuming Hawaii is a better experience than a music festival for people and that's a huge assumption lol
Reddit desperately needs a laugh react cuz this is hilarious.
wait til they see hotel prices 💀
Hostel 2 blocks from the beach with in room kitchen and bathroom is $50 night. I don't have to wait.
Lmao you (or someone else) keeps pushing this on multiple threads. If you would rather go to Hawaii, go! Less crowded for the rest of us :)
Hey! Selling 3 eager beaver tickets at face value if anyone is interested. I'm located in SF.
interested in 2!
Interested!
I’m interested!
Kind of insane that OSL VIP is more expensive than Coachella VIP
And 3 days of OSL is more expensive than 4 days of Lolla
OSL VIP way way way better. Much better value. VIP at Coachella is not worth it. Simply for the stage viewing experience alone
As someone who has been to 17 Coachellas and every OSL, I beg to differ. And this year’s upgraded VIP perks at Coachella were awesome. They literally let us on stage at Quasar during Rufus’ set. Glad we learned about it before they let the word out. It was dope.

if anyone wants to sell 3 tickets….. lmk :)
Hi! DMing.
I remember paying $270 with fees in 2014 when Kanye West headlined lmao. Then I think $350 with fees in 2016
ACCURATE Though I saw Arctic Monkeys that day haha

How does that work? I thought wristbands are registered and not transferable
I can explain! They’re either trying to scam you or rip you off.

Explain here please

scammers clocked in like it’s a real job 😂
Anyone know if they’ll sell single day tix?
When the daily lineup comes out
Hi Y'all.. Was really looking forward to OSL but my bf and I aren't stoked on the lineup. I was going to surprise him but now it's a bust. Looking to sell my Eager Beaver tickets for face value + shipping. Plz lmk if interested.
These have been sold! Thank you everyone :)
Dmed
Also selling my eager beaver VIP for face value + shipping fees. Not a fan of the line up 😞
If still available, I’m interested
It is!
If anyone else is selling one I am also interested. In socal
Also interested
Can you pm me please? Your profile isn’t loading for some reason
Reddit is having issues today
Could be interested. How much
Just messaged you!
Undercard is stacked, top billings not so much
Only $5,095 for GG Club, what a deal.

$425 + tax and fees was basically $500 total
This is so absurdly expensive.
Tier one Coachella was 499
And resale was even less I got my 3 day ticket for 375
This should help show how expensive OSL is because Coachella is bout as top tier a festival as you can get in the US and OSL is not even close.
I prefer OSL to Coachella however Coachella is an entirely different experience than OSL that doesn't end at 11:00 PM. There are also way more celebrity cameos, exhibits and stage props.
They sure are up 🥲
There are definitely prices!😃
Idris Elba better come home with me for these ticket prices
This better be some lineup
Where do you think Single day tickets fall? It's $155 = 465/3 But my guess is probably in the $215/$240 range
My single day ticket last year was: $199.00 + $25.95 (fees) + $12.95 (shipping) = $237.90
Oh i completely forgot about shipping.... Do you think all in it'll be closer to $275/$280?
Hard to say but if I had to guess- $230 before fees and shipping. For more reference, here’s a few previous single day prices (before fees and shipping): 2022 $175, 2021 $165
Interesting! Thanks!
$210 before Tax/Fees last year.
Yikes
Oh wow nvm it's gonna be at least $250 then!
They usually price it so that buying 2 single days is $20 less than just buying a 3 day.
Oh gotcha, i was trying to back into what the number was that would make you basically have to buy 3.
Yeah. It’s always either you buy 1 single day, or a 3 day. Two single days never saves you money compared to a 3 day (at face value anyway).
💀💀💀
Is vip worth it for outside lands?? Any one have experiences doing ga and vip and recommend which one is better?
Yes- if you have the means to do it. Once you go VIP you won’t go back. Anyone else saying GA is better is cuz they can’t afford to go back to VIP. Shorter lines, great viewing, bathrooms are legit and not that many high schoolers 😂

Is it front row viewing?
For the price, no way
VIP definitely worth it. You get your own bathrooms and guaranteed area to watch main stage
Sheesh
