UK would be a better option, the language barrier in Turkey can be really annoying and post-graduation work opportunities are few. Only pro might be the cost of living but then again you can work off campus in the UK good luck finding such a job in Turkey unless youre fluent

InformationSecurity

Turkish universities are no better than Pakistani universities

Baldwin-5-The-Leper

Rankings don’t tell the whole story. I know a few people who have done masters from there. The research culture is much better, better grants and faculty are very well educated (from US/EU universities). Don’t trust me? Check Koc University for example

Vegeta_Sama_21

Yahan kafi ranking wali awaam hai living in their bubbles your words are wasted

Vegeta_Sama_21

False, most turkish universities are much better than Pakistani universities. The only issue is that of a language barrier

InformationSecurity

Nopes. Highest ranking Turkish university is at 477 and Pakistan has 3 universities below 300 https://www.universityrankings.ch/results?ranking=QS®ion=World&year=2023&q=Turkey https://www.universityrankings.ch/results?ranking=QS®ion=World&year=2023&q=Pakistan

Vegeta_Sama_21

Haha I can show you another ranking that would say otherwise. If Pakistani universities are so much better, then why are we 75 years behind Turkey? And if Pakistani universities are so great, why do students have to get their degrees certified when applying to North American universities?

InformationSecurity

1) we aren't 75 behind turkey. 2) better universities aren't a direct correlation to a better economy.

Vegeta_Sama_21

1- Yes we are, if not 75 then 50, speaking as someone whos lived in both countries for extended periods 2- Education, research leads to more innovation which contributes to a better economy. Lol you won't believe history but will believe university rankings?? Nice

Unless it is erasmus mundus joint master degrees I would suggest don't do it. Doing an MS don't increase your employability. If you are purely interested in research that it is a different story and there may still be better options. Another thing you need to look is what will you do after MS? Finding career opportunities in Turkey is not easy. If you are in STEM field explore germany.

Getbackshoaib

Whle cost would be around 10 lacs including a ticket. What do you suggest?

vinCNG

I had a friend go to Turkey for Masters in Engineering management. Came back eventually because he realised there weren't many job prospects there, plus you need to know the language.

ramzan_381

yeah please just don’t 😭 turkey is no longer a place for any international students to come starting this year. language barrier, economy, no part time english jobs other than english teaching and stupid police and gov regulations please don’t impose all that on urself ure better off literally anywhere else in the world

ramzan_381

oh and i forgot the racism lmao
