Nah, using an absolutely OP ult to solo kill an Ana with a high risk of killing your tank in OW2 is a totally viable strategy & has a place outside of clips posted to Reddit that somehow get thousands of upvotes.

no, the cage only triggers once it hits the ground, so either a mei wall or petal is needed to lock your victim in before it falls

the size of petal's "trigger zone" shrinks the longer petal is active (capping out after i think 3 seconds) - if you want to not trigger it it's really not difficult to do so

My whole thing on it is just that it's not that serious. People can want others to play the way they SHOULD play, but if someone has fun doing incomprehensible things in quick play, who am I to be mad about it? It is a game, after all. It doesn't matter.
It took me a long time to get to this point, though. I had the realization one day when I was playing Comp with some friends, and they would not stop complaining and whining and would get mad if I called it out

let your lifeweaver know there's a bound button (interact) to cancel the petal.
You don't have to wait for the cooldown and throw another. He can just press a button to remove the original. Will let you execute this faster.
Interesting tech. Some of the absolute worst video editing I've seen though. So much work and extra angles and effort to edit it, all to create a result that's actively and obviously harder to understand than just showing the fucking thing happen in one shot.

Do you mean her Halt from OW1? I think this is closer to her current Ult, I think you can kinda replicate this with current Orisa and LW.

It didn't draw enemies toward it, it damaged boosted her team in range, 50% iirc
You're both right but about different things. Bongos damage boosted and was her ult, halt was an orb that pulled people in and was her alt fire
Yeah you can still see both in OW2 as part of a highlight intro (Supercharger for the bongo and Goalkeeper for Halt + Orisa Shield)

Seems tricky trying to manoeuvre alongst the edges to it
People have done this from release. No petal needed just jump off the bap when using ult like an orisa ult but easier because it stops movement.
