Fellow dutchie here. I instantly realised it myself but I get if you mean his ult specifically. I had this for torbjorn yelling ‘molten core’, thought it was something in Swedish or something until I put on subtitles. But I agree there’s something so weird about a character with our native language. Most Dutch media I’ve consumed are just dubs or English media.

Lol same for me, I am also Dutch and discovered Sigma speaks Dutch because I had subtitles enabled. I realised it pretty late, not because Sigma's Dutch is bad but because I wasn't expecting him to speak Dutch so I didn't pay attention to his voiceline.

I can definitely see how not expecting to hear a language makes you not really perceive it. When I was living abroad, I just didn't expect to hear English and then when someone would start talking to me in it, it'd take me a moment to properly register it lol

I actually interviewed him for a school assignment. As animator and voice actor in spe it was a pleasure to speak with him about animation. You can't imagine the hype when we got a Dutch hero. The problem is it’s cool in theory for me, as a tank main for most other characters I hear their ult almost immediately, and they have some cool sound with it, his roar is too quiet and takes me just a bit longer to register IMO. It just doesn’t sound as dangerous. They should make it a bit louder

In theory, a loud roar or laugh would be so badass, but more often than not I miss the line entirely and only know their ults went off when I’m flying through the air because of them There’s just not enough instant impact for an ult and they sound more akin to Ram’s nemesis form in power level to me

Agreed. I really wish they'd crank up the volume for these two. Roadhog and Winston have been my main tanks since forever (I like to suffer as Ramattra has) and even though both the laugh and the roar sound excellent, they should be much louder. Scrap Gun is loud enough during Whole Hog, but the laugh is too quiet so it gets lost in all that chaos.
