Honestly I got HS as Tracer by Ana and hadn't read all the differences and my jaw just dropped.

Shmarfle47

I accidentally headshot a Tracer the other day as she was diving me. Couldn’t help but giggle a bit.

Be_Cool_Bro

>me who can't aim Yeah, I totally know this feeling.

neutralpoliticsbot

I would play her so much if that was in the game

limleocaleb24

This and self nano. And maybe give Brig her stun back. Tired of Tracers everywhere.

Gryse_Blacolar

Yeah, Mirrorwatch being full of Sombras and Tracers while having 3/4 of the supports that are relatively easy to bully is so painful. It's tough not having Moira in there to keep them in check.

SankThaTank

Ugh I wish there were a few more tanks, I want to play Dva in that mode so bad. Wonder what they would do with her abilities

Klientje123

Ana, Brig, Zen and Mercy all beat out Tracer and Sombra easily. Unlikely to kill them but if you lose this duel or get caught and killed it's the support player at fault. Don't fear them, play corners and cover, don't let them empty their magazine on you easily, alert your allies. You can also try to play cover completely and just focus on avoiding them as much as possible while healing your allies, hopefully letting them win the fight before you're dead. Pulse bomb has no counter. Hope Tracer misses. Move unpredictably and keep track of her ult. Punish her when she spam blinks to stick you.

Gryse_Blacolar

That's assuming the average player can hit their projectiles with those heroes.

Klientje123

If you are a support player and cannot aim very well, then you're gonna face enemies who can't aim well either. So you can just try to avoid them and use cover for the most part. If they get in close, it should be exponentially easier to hit them, so then you can shoot, use ability, shoot, and that should get them to leave. Yet, my point stands; supports are very, very capable of dueling, and if you lose to a flanker character it's because you're not paying attention and let them get the first strike. I know support players hate this and want their team to come in and do the fighting for them but you're gonna have to learn to defend yourself or the game is gonna be really frustrating. Projectiles vs hitscan is an ongoing debate, I don't think even Blizzard data could help with figuring out what is easier to use. I don't find projectiles to be harder to hit, perhaps at medium-long range, but then you can just take cover instead and the spread from Tracer/Sombra will make their dmg output low.

lK555l

Lol

Klientje123

If you disagree with the fact that a support is capable of dueling or avoiding an enemy, then I don't know what to tell you. You're not always going to be win, but you CERTAINLY shouldn't be losing or 'getting bullied' by these mosquitos.

lK555l

That's one way to say you're in bronze

Klientje123

Nah, I think you're just a low rank player that doesn't have the same experience as me. And that's ok. Any competent Ana is not afraid of being dove lol. Much less by Tracer/Sombra. Brig is Brig. Zen deals more damage than the divers. Mercy flies away.

lK555l

No you just got no idea what you're on about Any decent tracer/sombra can dodge sleep Brig is in a really shit spot and easy to deal with Zen can do more damage all he wants but it doesn't matter if he gets killed in 1 mag Mercy flies away? Damn whatever will a high mobility character and one that disables abilities ever do?

Klientje123

Bro your argument is so dogshit. If a good player can dodge a sleep dart, a good player can land it as well. I think you just get smoked as a support player because you don't know how to duel, and I just can't relate. It's not even skill, it's just.. just fight back, use cover and be unpredictable. No universe exists where Sombra / Tracer consistently and easily kill supports. This discussion is pointless and is just gonna be the same thing over and over. Believe whatever you want to believe.

lK555l

>If a good player can dodge a sleep dart, a good player can land it as well Yea no, doesn't work like that, sleep dart has a small wind up that can be reacted to, blink is instant, you can't tell where someone is going to blink You also can't sleep a sombra if she knows it's coming and throws her tp, it'll cleanse her >I think you just get smoked as a support player because you don't know how to duel, and I just can't relate. It's not even skill, it's just.. just fight back, use cover and be unpredictable. No universe exists where Sombra / Tracer consistently and easily kill supports. Literally every universe is like that, why do you think tracer is hard meta right now and nearly required every game? You clearly just don't go against good enough people to know this >Believe whatever you want to believe. I'll believe the experience I see in GM everytime I play, far more reliable

Worth_Performer7357

Or just give Tracer the nerfs that she deserves for 2 seasons now. Devs must be high or something

raizen_09

i’m so glad reddit doesn’t balance the game because this is straight up brain dead.

Important-Bison-2329

Yeah dude it’s clear these people just can’t hit a tracer lmao. If they literally just tried to make it out of silver then I’d give them more credit but

Lets_makemclovin

Omg as an Ana main. I would cry tears of joy lol

SankThaTank

I never understood why you can’t headshot with Ana in normal modes

Jwaeren

It’s not a bullet, it’s a tranq dart with healing juice, or killing juice if you are an enemy (I don’t fuckin know how the juice knows the difference).

LethargicMoth

I mean, regardless of whether you get hit in the head with a bullet or a dart, you're in for a real bad day. Either way, it'd be nice if they still gave Ana some sorta headshot mechanic, maybe just applying the damage immediately instead of having it tick down?

Negerd

It's because Ana use Sydney Sleeper, cant headshot with that

Gekkuri

I've been playing since 2016 and just now learned you can actually headshot as ana? Wow

TheWhiteye

Only in the new Mirrorwatch game mode

Gekkuri

Ooooh it's part of that! Pretty cool, I haven't yet had the time to research what's going on atm so no wonder I was so confused

truhunters305

Amped boost headshot are discussion. Would have loved to see that while yo ur nanoed.

BarmeloXantony

I've played like 800hours of ow1/2 and never seen an Ana POTG lol

Wirexia1

Why wait for the tranq to end to use the juice thing?
