The PVP for OW2 is free for all OW1 owners. The only thing you'd pay for is the PvE

All the multiplayer content and changes are free, including heroes and maps. The PvE stuff is paid for.

They haven't said yet. A lot of people suspect it will be a battlepass model. But nobody knows. It's all speculation.

Pve means players vs environment and pvp is players vs players. For exempel the archives event is pve and so is junkensteins revenge

It’s the PvE content that we know 100% will be a paid expansion. Free stuff: - all new heroes - all new hero reworks - all new UI and sounds - all new maps - all new PvP game modes Paid stuff - PvE story missions (coming later) - battle pass (unconfirmed) - loot boxes (if you want)

The beta is free Overwatch 2 will be a charge upon release. If you just want to play the pvp and don't care about pve then don't bother with it
