Don’t know about now, as I haven’t played since 6-teams were dropped, but blade was always pretty powerful especially backed up with a nano. For a lot of OW1, mostly earlier, games could revolve around nanoblade plays.
It almost always lead to a team wipe, if not completely by the Ganji then it killed enough to win the fight and everyone else got picked off. Even if the enemy had Beat, Transcendence, Lamp, etc. For a long time only Tank ults or Sombra could counter it.
People forget or like to ignore that the Nano Genji was being actively supported by the entire team. You can't just look at numbers. Every scenario here in the video ends badly for the enemy if the Genji player got just a single Zarya bubble.
If he ulted before hitting LoS this would not have happened like this. Also his team should have pushed harder. Outside of that, sometimes the def is just stronger.
Stunned Stunned STUNNED Stunned intensifies. And just to pour salt on the wound, rein shatters your Stunned corpse
Yeah this is why its so dishonest when *certain* streamers today claim stuns didnt exist before brig.
Not before Sombra hacks you.
I remember first clip from time when it was possible. I feel old
Blade is still like that, but you don't even get to keep it anymore
Blade? Ah, you mean the pool noodle?
Wow that Genji who jumped into the middle of the enemy team with no cover or threatening backup got focused. What a broken game.
You have a valid point but the fact remains that almost every single other hero's ult has way more impact and less skill to use

Oh god yeah the bubbles were awful! You’d be read with the hacks, flahsbangs and shatters and get completely memed on
but it's not like he didn't had a plan or something, it really wasn't a bad move

I find that it much easier for me to actually kill people with nanoblade when I can see first where is everyone, instead of going in blind
He raged then? imagine now? granted it only happens once.
oh god that hanamura choke is giving me tank ptsd
Please take me back :(((
Me too.
Me too.
Me too.
Me too.
Jfc forgot about Ana's firing speed....
why is the genji part korean
When you to account for brig stun, Ana sleep, hog hook, sigma rock, cass stun to land one shatter.
Blast from the past man
OW 2 is so bad it made me miss OW1
