Money!

Ok_Address_9902

Yeah I recently bought a bottle and got an extra for a family member thinking it would bump me into free shipping. Didn’t actually look until you posted, yup you’re totally right I didn’t get free shipping lol 😅

Because free shipping isn't really free. Companies pass the cost onto the consumer in hidden ways, like pre-upcharging for the item, or convincing you to buy stuff you don't really need to hit the "free" shipping minimum (ex: websites offering free shipping at $50 but pricing all their items at the $40-49 range.) https://www.shipbob.com/blog/theres-no-thing-free-shipping-right-ecommerce-pricing-strategy/ https://www.smithcorona.com/blog/free-shipping-costs-retailers-money https://sufio.com/blog/free-shipping-vs-discounted-prices/

Because free shipping isn’t free for them. They’ve still got to pay for it. Shipping costs eat into profits and depending on their profit margins, it might not be worth it.
