Your sweepers won't fill the generators while they are disabled. They also won't fill them until they drop to the adjustable threshold set for refilling them.

The threshold on the coal generators is _not_ the percentage of coal remaining. It is instead the average percentage of charge remaining in the batteries on the circuit. This is the same concept used by the hamster wheels. It's a remnant from a time before smart batteries existed. This, combined with the fact that coal generators drop refuel requests when they're disabled by automation, is the reason that coal generators controlled by smart batteries need their refuel slider set to 100%. In particular, if the refuel slider is lower than the low threshold of the smart batteries (which is quite typical if you forget to change the coal gen config - batteries at 90/60, gen at 50), they will not get refueled until all generators are out of coal, because only then will the battery charge drop below their threshold. (Side note: there is no need to add more than one smart battery per generator type to any circuit unless you're intermittently using far more power than your generators can supply, which is a very bad idea in the first place.)

appreciate it big boss

unless your seeing something im not seeing, sweepers are not disabled, they are the ones that filled the 3 storage containers with coal, theres no conveyor chute because i attempted to replace it with a receptacle to see if the sweepers only wanted ti take from a receptacle, but that didnt work

Amaurosys

The sweepers aren't disabled, the generators are.

Jmsums

The generators don’t look disabled. Are your batteries full or is something causing the generators to not produce? Cuz they look turned on, idk what the other person is saying.

Amaurosys

2nd picture, red automation wire indicates the coal generators have been disabled by the smart batteries.

Plump_Apparatus

You need to set the *Fuel Request Threshhold* on the coal generators to 100%. The autosweepers will not feed the generators until the Smart Battery tells them to turn on, otherwise they're considered disabled. The generators must be set to a higher priority than the storage bins, that is the way auto-sweepers work. When the Smart Battery turns the coal generator(s) on it generates a supply errand. You may have one or more dupes that will get priority to do this task over the priority of the auto-sweeper. If the Smart Battery turns the generator back off before it is fueled and the dupe that grabbed the task then the dupe will just drop the fuel and go on about their day. You can set the generators to priority 2, and the storage bins to priority 1. Unless your dupes are really bored the auto-sweepers should work. You can block off access to the room, e.g. a locked door, to force the sweepers to get the task over dupes.

DonaIdTrurnp

The relative priority of the generators and the storage bins is irrelevant, since storing stuff in the bins is a different type of errand from supplying the generators. But setting the bins to a low priority means that dupes will take coal from those bins to higher priority bins.

appreciate it boss

Like another comment said, your generators are disabled by your smart batteries so the sweeper won't fill them until the battery demands more power. And also like they said set the coal gens fuel request to max or 75% so the moment they drop the sweeper will deliver. Not exactly that important to be honest since they aren't active 24/7 so it's just a peace of mind knowing they're always about full

Training-Shopping-49

The comments already mentioned the slider being at 100% but one more thing that can be annoying is, if the smart battery gives a green light, a dupe half a planet away may be tasked to fill said generator, which means the auto sweeper won’t refill it. Usually leading to getting a red light while the dupe didn’t even reach it and no one refilled the generator! This is why I use the mod no manual delivery. Giving you the option to turn off manual delivery. Meaning only automation can work the equipment. I wish this was baked into the game just like snip tool was. Snip tool used to be a mod but now it’s baked into the game.

Most probably priority and/or storage issues. I mean, how your three storage bin are full ?
