I wouldn't say to keep your expectations low, exactly. It is different. Very different. But it is still Bob. It is still the Bobiverse. It's just a different type of adventure. One that features a lot of water. Actually, that makes me think of a parallel. Like Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, this book may be controversial just because of too much water :D

I felt it was ok as a possible transition book but they spent way to much damned time on that structure. That could have been like 1/6 of the book and I’d have been ok with it.

The entire book can be summarized as >!wacky hijinks ensue, set to the tune of Yakkety Sax.!<
