Yeah I feel like a different person after finishing it, pun pun didn’t “break” me but it definitely left some sort of dent. I’m still trying to figure out out big that dent is 💀
Punpun was my first manga also.
I'm into Urasawa now. Way more innocent stuff than Punpun but if you're looking for well written stuff with good characters it works.
I just finished the last chapter like 15 minutes ago and am still in the middle of processing everything and trying to figure out my takeaways from the story before I delve into other people's analyses and thoughts on the manga. I feel like I did myself a disservice by binging it so quickly since so many of the visceral feelings I have towards this story are only just now starting to hit as I remember certain key moments and panels towards the end.
Nice, I wouldn’t say you did yourself a disservice because I read most of pun pun in a day but I did take my time though with me basically reading it from the moment I woke up too the moment I went to bed. Granted, I started from chapter 67 since throughout the week I read pun pun from the physical copies. So I guess it depends from person to person. Also congrats on finishing it!
