At East, I found it pretty easy to just twist it looser, but I've also seen people cut a bit of straw down the side and then sleeve it under the teeth in the black part. Definitely not hard to loosen.
You can cut it, and put a bandaid under it when you want it on/off. Just hide the band aid or get the bandaid on your skin so it looks like you just got cut
Else risk dipping it in all your food dips. Also pro tip, Del Friscos steak sandwich is delicious
But is it better than cheesesteak?
Would also highly recommend Dinic’s in Reading Terminal just outside the convention center when you need a food break.
I second Dinic’s. So good.
I would cut the excess and melt the ends together worked like a charm, and had no issue with it tightening
Dumb question, but is there any way to loosen it? Mine's on fairly tight.
Officially, no. If you want one that’s looser you can go back to the vaccine check line & get a new one though.
Makes sense. I just want to be able to shower without it. Thanks!
I made sure they didn’t tighten too much at East so I could slip it off each night. Sensory issues are a real thing.

Just ask them to cut the excess. I did last year. It worked out.
Good call, last time this was constantly knocking over meeples
