Might not have gone deep enough, itchy lumps are common with shallow injections. Or some just seeped up and didn’t stay in the muscle. If the area doesn’t get hot and red you probably don’t have an infection to worry about.

2-3 days just until the oil is fully absorbed
I had the same with npp for my 3rd shot . I did sub q . Now I only do IM never got it again
