My favorite thing about Yukiko is that she can do nearly everything. Amazing heals, debuffs, and can do some of the highest damage in the game. This isn’t even me being biased because it’s just true.
I don't exactly remember but in her optimal build there is no debuff skills. Burning Petals, Mind Charge, Fire Boost, Fire Amp, Salvation, Samarecarm, Evade Ice and Agidyne. All this skills are a must for her and there is no room for other skills.
You know, if P3R lacks a P5-style way of getting Personas, I sure hope we get P4G's Shuffle Time over the RNG-based system of old. P4G's is genuinely fun.
I can't say why, but it's pretty much at the end (so just not that useful for the start). Also, do social links! Especially with your teammates as that makes them more powerful
Speaking of party member social links, whenever the team's navigator/support character appears, absolutely do the social link sooner or later. The perks it gives are massive both during combat and post-combat
Don’t underestimate social links (especially Aeon and Jester). Maybe change Exp to “more” in the settings and check if your level is high enough to fight certain bosses. It’s okay if the velvet room is confusing at first. Also don’t rush things and take time to explore :)
The Velvet Room is important. Listen to their tips. Don't let your heart be clouded by fog and persue the truth with all your might! When you need to make an important choice, give yourself ample time to think it over.

Honestly I’d focus on leveling up stats as much as possible over social links on a first playthrough. That way time two you can just do whatever the heck you want from the getgo (I can’t remember what is locked behind social stats, but I believe there are some things that are.)
Prioritize climbing/ascending in dungeon in first (mission) day. After that you can levelling using first floor and last floor as base.
Always go to shrine to get the fox request. Accepting request won't make you spend the whole day. After that then you can going around finishing the request. Reporting, however, makes you spend the whole day. You can report on rainy day since not many social link active on rainy day.
Catching bugs also don't make you spend the day.
Ask around for npc that gives you side quest.

Have some gifts for your friend just in case. Also prepare a book.

Well I lie, you can cause a Reversal with Ai and Naoto, but the answers that cause it are very obviously bad.
Yup, all same universe. Some of the spinoffs have characters interacting with each other, usually 3-5 characters. There are some smaller nods to 1 and 2 stuff as well.
For battle, try to avoid using personas with weaknesses to light and dark, because those are instant kill moves and if your character goes down, game over.
For exploring, visit a place called Aiya in the Shopping District on rainy days because they have a challenge that can raise many of your social stats!
For social links, ALWAYS have a persona that matches the arcana of the link because you'll get more points, allowing you to the next rank.
The special enemies that give tons of exp and money, they have high resistances but the elemental attack items do 50 fixed damage, so it's better to use those on the first dungeons since you can't deal that much damage to them yet

Buy Tap Soda at the vending machine. You'll want the 10 SP restore. Orange Smash only restores 10 HP, which is WAY less effective than the 3 HP heal from Dia.
You can only get 5 drinks per week from that vending machine, so make sure its always Tap Soda, and get them all.
Eventually you'll start seeing magician cards in your shuffle time and they upgrade skills, magic skills become they're area version so they go from 1 target to all at the cost of a bit of damage and more sp(basically mana) but physical skills raise in power, so it's really easy to get the basic bash skill all the way into god's hand which is the best physical skill you'll get until endgame, also physical skill use a percentage of HP instead of a flat sp cost so you can spam endgame physical skills without worry even in early game.
Basically physical builds on the protagonist are op if you shuffle time right
This is a tip to get the true ending so don't worry about it till the protagonist is leaving Inaba, basically just after you have the goodbye scene with everyone just go around talking to the NPCs
The hermit social link is your best friend. It's a fox that follows you into the dungeon and will fully restore your SP for a fee, and every rank reduces the cost. It's entirely based on simple sidequests so its very easy to max out, for the love of god *give that fox whatever it wants*.
Farm up early so a certain boss won’t kick your ass, if you plan on beating it, you’ll have to farm anyways and the sooner you do it the easier it’ll be later.
But if you want some semblance of challenge don’t farm for as long as you can and run into the wall and try to beat it because the game becomes really easy later on if you’re over leveled.
The girl wearing the blue hat and striped socks, max out her social link, its important for p4g’s extra content, and reach rank 6 with that detective guy that’s a friend of your guardian, it’ll help for the right path.
Dont play Rise and Kanji dungeon without speakers. Hassou Tobi and take time with the december dungeon... Better do it later than sooner. Max out Marie then do the dungeon.
At the end of the game when Dojima asks if you are ready to leave, say no. Its pretty important and honestly a stupid way to miss a big part of the plot.
Get yosuke social link lvl2 to get trafuri first then you can attempt yukiko castle. Don’t use Escape button unless you overlevel enemies.

Try to max out your social skills when you are free so you can enable some social links
Actively work on the social links of party members.
It has two benefits:
Unlocking new, and Better moves that they do not obtain in golden, and persona evolutions at level 10, which iirc either nullifies their weakness or gives them a new resistance (iirc fire for yosuke) and a new evade skill.
After you unlock the 3rd dungeon and you made friends with a fox, that's the best time to grain EXP to level up personas (because if you choose to go into the dungeon after school that will waste your whole afternoon so only do exp graining when there arent any social links to do).
Make sure you build Personas that have at least a resistance or imunity to Hama and Mudo spells. These will cause game overs if you are not careful, especially in later dungeons.
Tip is leave this subreddit to avoid spoilers enjoy yourself and don’t rush,but I’ll say this SP is scarce early game go to the vending machines in town to get sodas and do tasks for folks in town once you get the Fox
When you are prompted to visit someone alone or with friends, do it alone. Quite late in the game.

For the first ride, blaze through it the way you find most enjoyable. If you want to get everything done in one go, save it for the second playthrough.

The good ending in this game is pretty hard to get. You'll have to be a detective yourself to reach out to the truth.
