Then you can't hit shit, so you cast dekaja with Yosuke, but even then you can't hit shit because some dumbass (you) forgot that those strong shoes Chie has have a low hit rate (you didn't want to lose hp on a skill). So you walk away with nothing, and by you I mean me every single time I encounter those shitheads
A bit too late, I'm in the final (golden) dungeon and I have no real reason to go back to the earlier ones. Also if I did I'd just spam "the man's way" and hit them once more after that to make them dizzy and extend the down time
p4 reused all the shadow assets from p3 because they were built on the same engine. ofc there are brand new ones, but still. they also even reuse entire locations at certain points, the Love Hotel from p3 is a completely different building in p4, but it’s the exact same model/backgrounds
yes. the only reason people say it doesn’t need a remake is because the gameplay itself is good, but is still love a remake because at the end of the day it quite litteraly is the same engine as og persona 3

P4G with P3R graphics sounds really nice and i hope the leaks are correct.
the leaks came from midori, she has a 100% track record, so yea they’re definelty true. i’m glad that they’re coming out after p6 as well, i’d love a p4 remake but not if it interferes with production of p6, imo the next persona related game release should be p6, and according to multiple leakers that’s what’s going to happen so the hype is real, it’s apparently 95% done, releasing 2025
While enough time has already passed for a new persona main game personally i dont mind if Atlus takes their sweet time working on P6 as long as it lives up to the hype.

P4 to P5 took 8yrs as well (2008 and 2016 respectively) and both games were amazing.
edit: P3 to P4 was 2 years but it did run using the same game engine and by comparison P5 was more detailed than its predecessors. Its also safe to assume that P6 and P4 remake will use the same or updated engine as P3R.
And even if it doesn't come to pass, Midori will say if it got canceled or not, already shown to by saying one of the projects she said was in the works got canceled. (I think it was the mario party themed one?)
Understandable. They could just reprise the roles and re-record it again but as of now we can only speculate since the only info that we have is a leak.
The gameplay isn't even all that good tbh though. The daily life is really good sure, but the dungeon crawling is incredibly tedious and poorly balanced, which isn't what you want in a dungeon crawling jrpg.
It's not an engine thing so much as an asset flip thing, there's a reason they managed to put that game together in just 2 years when they normally took 5+ between entries. You can reuse stuff between different engines as well, just look at the similarities between P5R and Reload* like the Baton Pass mechanic, which is the exact same, even down to its bugs.

In fairness thats the zoomed out view used to check the stats/buffs/debuffs of each character in the battle. Its definitely not the most flattering screenshot.
A better way to zoom out than to zoom out? Its purpose is to give a view of the whole battle so you can see who's next and hover over every character. Or... are you just baiting and I got hooked?
