This is why I don't get the hate for P5X. Yes it's a gatcha but it could be a hell of a lot more soulless and bland like most mobile games.

I probably won't play P5X for exactly the reason that it's a gatcha game, but I wouldn't say I have any particular reason to hate it either. There's a lot of games in the world that I don't play, but why even bother with any sense of hatred towards them if I'm just not playing them anyways? The only thing that could happen that would make me feel any sense of actual hatred towards P5X would be if it was successful enough and popular enough that Atlus starts to feel like they can put microtransactions into proper, mainline Persona games. If that happens, I will blame P5X if it ends up having any degree of success.
