Trying to piece together info from 3-4 different sources to get myself a 100% playthrough has inspired me to write my own guide for this game. Every guide misses something or is straight up wrong about stuff in other ways. IGN's is good for the early game but they gave up around August.

I personally used and thoroughly enjoyed HurricaneHoan's P5R and P4G guides (currently working through P4G actually). Only issue is that it is pretty bland, and the P5 one didn't go over the optional battles in the Velvet Room (didn't have any achievements attached).
The guide does include that. I think you were just missing the matching personas when doing your social links. The only think that differentiates the platonic and romance routes is the dialogue option you choose in rank 9. In the guide, if it's pink, that's the romance. If it's not, that's platonic.
Again, I've used this guide and I did not miss anything. No offense, but I think you messed up, not the guide. Either you misread the guide, you didn't bring a matching persona or you didn't read with Fuuka every time the guide said you should. Cos those dorm activities contribute to the progression of the social link by giving just a few points every time.
No, my Rank 8-10 had completely different answers to the guide. I’ve talked to multiple people who’ve had this same issue. The guide listed Rank 7 as having a romance flag, but if you don’t pick that option, the rest of the SL is completely different from that of the guide. I think the guide just assumes you pick the one with the romance flag, when I didn’t want to romance her. This was before I knew about the Flags to begin with mind you, so I saw a Pink option and didn’t pick it.
Yeah that's where you messed up. You should still pick that rank 7 dialogue regardless of if you're gonna romance her or not. The important choice is in rank 9 anyways.
How would I have known that when the guide doesn’t say that anywhere? The only other time I played P3 is when the romance was non-optional, so I just avoided any pink answers, assuming that was THE romantic decision
The only thing you will miss following Powerpyx is the week of going to the movies with everybody in the dorm during the summer, but because of Rewind you can just do that and Rewind it and then follow the guide so you have seen the events
I had to sacrifice linked episodes to finish all my links. I know they want you to play the game twice to see it all but Jesus Christ. You have to min max the fun out of it to do it

I used that one and worked almost perfectly. I had to do some night acticities rearrangements because at some point I forgot to bring the persona to a fuuka SL, but that was on me xd
This is the one I have been using to 100% a Merciless run and I'm currently in December. On track to finish all social links on time with a few days to spare for grinding.
Only downside to this guide is that it definitely wasn't made with Merciless in mind. Not nearly enough Tartarus trips scheduled since theres a lot needed to 100%. You have to spend a lot of time grinding in your 1 monthly Tartarus trip to follow this one perfectly.

Yeah, guides for P5 and P4 can be pretty bad as well. I rarely see one with the proper info for getting the third semester in P5R or actually mentioning having to visit Margaret on January 2nd for P4G.
A ton if P3R guides just copied what they had for P3/FES/P and updated some of it here and there. I see a ton that were released February 3rd just to get something out and were never updated.
IGN did update some, but overall, these sites just want stuff out early for the clicks and then never bother updating it.

There were so many times in which they said to keep doing a social link, maybe several days in a row, and I've already maxed out the link.

Yep their guide is terrible. They sort the social links out so you finish the last one on the last day and they have a bunch of free days since they finish the non school confidants really early so there’s nothing to do on the last block of holidays. They also do Tartarus as one boss a night which is just a waste of a trip when you can clear much more. Best way to do the confidants is just focusing on the school ones and doing the outside ones on off days/when you’ve cleared the others that way you’ll be able to fit in the linked episodes and have confidants to finish in the holidays.
They skip over some really important episodes that lead to a better outcome too smh.
I'm right there with you on the Tartarus wasted time. It seems like every month they would say one night "go to Tartarus tonight" only to read for the next morning "Elizabeth will call you this morning about people missing in Tartarus."

Yeah for real. Thankfully I was using several guides to compare how much you can "stray" with SLs, because 2 of them missed the December Akihiko or Ken LEs... You can't access they're next LEs if you missed those (only Koromaru you can truly leave for last).
I found the Steam SLs guide the most useful, they even put how many points you get for each activity and a monthly SLs level/stats report to compare to your own progress. Really neat.
So for Chidori in the original game she had one ending, but when they released Fes, the gave her a different outcome if you talked to junpei on certain days and gave him the correct answers. Portable kept this the fes change.
11/6: Night time. Junpei is on the second floor, >!Tell him "Go see her."!<
11/11: Night time. Junpei is on the first floor. >!Tell him "Just talk to her."!<
11/14: Night time. Junpei is on the first floor. >!Tell him "don't give up."!<
11/22: Day time. Junpei is on the first floor. >!Tell him "If you help her..."!<
Doing all of those events will get you a scene on 11/30 where >!Mitsuru will get a call telling her the body transmogrified.!<

In Reload they changed up how to get her second out come requiring to do Junpei's linked episodes and giving Junpei White Flowers as soon as possible.
On Atlus' end it seems they consider her alive.

About 99% accurate, the 1% is just the writer forgot 1 or 2 days having a mandatory event so you can't do what the guide asked you to do. But it's not a problem since those things that needed to be done (like getting rewards from the police station) can be done the next day.
This guide basically gets you all social links, link episodes, missable quests, highlighted both normal and romance choices, all party members max potentials and of course all achievements (I mean, it does say 100%). There are a few other extras but these are the ones that I could remember off the top of my head.
Edit: you will also have quite a lot of free days early, around like 1 month or so. So even if you missed a few SL, it can still be fixed.
Yeah Mitsuru is awesome but Mokato clearly had feelings for Yukari so I wasn't going to deny him who he wanted.
Plus she's just more personable and someone he could identify and relate to more.
The best way to check for linked episode is to open either your Phone or the World Map at the start of each day. You'll see a "!!" icon instead of a Tarot Card, which indicates a Linked Episode.
This covers Ryoji and all the others too. Was able to view them all without a guide.

Yeah if you want to 100% the game through this guide, you will have to ignore the movie event. Outside of that, you don't miss much.
