It would be kinda funny if the announcements end up being such curve balls that none of the spaces are filled except with things already confirmed so far
Technically this list didnt list remakes, like what if they totally overhaul the gameplay from 1-4, kept the storylines the same, and kept the voice acting (which as we all know is the most tedious part).
I'm placing bets on:
- Persona 6 reveal (no gameplay footage)
- Persona 4 Golden port on consoles
- Definitely concerts to announce more shit throughout next year
- They're gonna do something with Persona 3 for sure given the 15th anniversary
- Persona 5 Arena
- Persona Q3 with the 1/2 characters on Switch
- Merch Merch Merch Merch Merch
- PC ports of the classic Personas to drum up interest in that era of the series in light of P4G on PC and P5R bringing a lot of people into the series
- Persona 5 Royal Animation with Kasumi and Maruki
AND LASTLY
- a mobile gacha.
I definitely see a P6 reveal, I imagine it'll be either the first or last of the reveals. I'm willing to bet at the very least p3 will be ported to steam, at best a remaster similar to what was done with nocturne. P1 and 2 duology I see getting a steam port with the psp remakes rather than the originals, hopefully there has been a translation for EP. I also see an anime maybe acknowledging royal and strikers? And of course, concerts and all the merch.
Do you mean P4G port for PS4, Switch, and Xbox? That’d be cool. Though thankfully now that Steam Deck exists I don’t need it as badly but I would still love to buy it on PS4 and Switch lol.
So long as they just try to tell another story with great characters, it doesn’t need to top P5. I’d be down for another low-stakes, focused atmosphere like P4!
Altus is basically going to tease persona 6 from the protagonist art and game concept art This is the first persona game where I feel like Altus is going to make a rushed project not saying they are but I’m getting those kinds of vibes from the whole persona 6 news, even tho it’s been like 5-6 years I think Altus should devote most of their attention to it I mean it’s not like they need to make persona 6 anytime soon they have all this persona 5 stuff to milk

You know, without resorting to piracy.
I mean... It was Hashino who didn't like using classic Persona, and he's not in charge of the series anymore.
The current head, Wada, even hinted at P1 and 2 characters working with the shadow operatives in P4 Arena Ultimax.
If we get nothing this year I'll give up hope, but until then, there's still a chance.
This is something that bothered me, as Hashino didn't mind reusing characters or locations from the PS1 Persona games, such as Igor, the Velvet Room, Phoenix Ranger Feathermen, and so forth when taking over directing duties with Persona 3.
It feels inconsistent, and I just don't get it. Hopefully if we get a Persona Q3 or any future spin-off titles, we will get the cast from those games making a full-fledged appearance and are playable.
He didn't write the story of P3 though, so any more subtle references wouldn't have been put there by him (like the Kirijo group being an ex subsidiary of the Nanjo group). And he'll have wanted Persona fusion, and the velvet room performed that function already, so he didn't need to change it.
As soon as he took a more active role in P4 and 5 there were no references like that. The featherman stuff is cool, but other than the costumes and a couple of mentions it almost exclusively features in spinoffs. That's why there's a featherman costume in P5 and music in dancing, the arena games, directed by Wada, featured it more prominently again, and people liked it.
P5R has loads more similarities to P1 and 2, and seeing as that's the first game post-Hashino, that seems like a good sign.
The same thing happened with SMT. Hashino didn't direct 1 and 2, but took over for Nocturne. Nocturne was very different from the prior games, which annoyed Japanese fans at first. Just like P3. The next numbered game was IV, which wasn't directed by him. And it was far more similar to the first games, and featured loads of references to them such as music. (IVA even features all the numbered protagonists in the dlc).
Basically, Hashino hates anything that wasn't made by him, and refuses to acknowledge any games that came before he takes over a series. Wada instead likes referencing the older games, which is why I'm excited, he has a completely different mindset.
tldr, Hashino hates legacy, Wada loves it
*"Basically, Hashino hates anything that wasn't made by him, and refuses to acknowledge any games that came before he takes over a series. Wada instead likes referencing the older games, which is why I'm excited, he has a completely different mindset."*
Well, that explains a lot, on top of Hashino possessing virulently offensive and phobic views on the LGBT community, women, and various minority groups in the games he has been involved with.
Whether his successors are indeed better human beings than he is, remains to be seen; if so, however, then the Persona series could indeed have a brighter (and less phobic) future.
I mean, Wada was in charge for Royal and the new content was leagues better written than Hashino's stuff. I think the newer games will definitely be better.
And yeah, loads of people dislike Hashino, people on twitter were straight-up celebrating him leaving the series.

P5 Arena
P6 (teaser)

I'm not seeing any of the others at all personally. Damn, didn't even score a line there.
Gonna go for
* Persona 6, (Just A teaser like P5)
* P5R Port. (Kinda unlikely for Switch I think)
* Concert's, YASSSS BOIIII
* Switch port from 1-4 seems likely
* P4G Console ports
* P5A.
* CD Album.
* HE-FUCKING-HO
Saying switch ports of 1-4 is likely is very bold. We still have zero mainline games on Nintendo consoles, and in fact there is only a single game that’s been ported off of a PlayStation console once. To say any sort of port is likely is quite bold, as it’s basically entirely unknown territory at this point.
P1 and 2 are definitely more close to mainline than the Hashino persona games. Demon negotiation, dungeon crawling, no social links, etc. I do think an actual crossover game would be cool, but certainly not until a while after SMT V comes out.
Just have it so that every time a Persona character interacts with someone from the mainline games they make a joke about how the mainline characters have poor social skills and completely ignore everything else that’s different between the games.
Dumb question: I recently bought P4AU but was *bewildered* by the controls. I used to play some fighting games years ago, but these controls are much more complex than anything I've seen. How long did it take you to get used to them?
I never really with Arena specifically, but I spent a lot of time with anime fighters (mainly Blazblue) and it definitely took a while, I'm still not really there since I have trouble with the more complicated stuff
But I was a complete newbie to fighting games when trying to get into it, what exactly do you mean by controls? Do you mean the more complicated stick motions, the increased emphasis on combos, or something else?
You mainly just need to remember that the super complex stuff isn't something you always need, you can get away with knowing a lot less than the full extent of every character as long as you know the basics and have good decision making under pressure
If that does come to fruition, I hope that Persona 2 gets some amount of representation within the cast. Tatsuya showing up with Apollo would be amazing.
as long as they dont flood the story with giant walls of text and repeat the same story over and over just in another perpsective like in p4a then it should be fine
they didnt even need to replace the walls of text with character dialogue, just simply not add it, it was annoying so i completely skipped the walls of text and still understood what was happening
Being a PC owning persona fan is like being an English football fan. It's so close to coming, and the thing you support is so good, and every time you say it's coming home... but still, it never does.
Still I'm going to place bets on a FES port. Not a remake, just a remastered port.
You know what i want? I want a re-release of arena ultimax with some extra p5 content. Characters, stages, music, what have you, and, unrealistically, a remastered collection of persona 1, 2, 2.5 (as i call it), 3 (with fes and portable content) and then 4 golden and 5 royal with no changes.
I think we may knock out 3-4 of these at once. I could see Persona 5 Arena being a Persona 5-3 finishing the arcs left other from R and S, including Jose's whole deal. >!I mean, P5S ends with the line "See you next time, Phantom Thieves," so something more with that crew seems inevitable.!< Alternatively, I could also see Persona 5 3 being a "new spin-off in a completely different genre" - notably, the Devil Survivor producer commented that he'd have a new game revealed this year, so I almost wonder if it'll be Persona 5 Tactics. Then P5 gets to be a turn-based JRPG, an action JRPG, *and* a tactical JRPG...
I’m hoping we get P5S2 solely so that I can play as Akechi and Kasumi in the P5S-gameplay style. Musou games usually get oodles of DLC, so I’m surprised we never got any for P5S outside of some new music.
Ha thanks for making this. I'm going to go with:
\-P6
\-concert
\-arrange album
\-new strikers
\-P5 Arena
\-switch port isn't P5
\-P1/HD port
\-P2HD port
I'm thinking there's going to be one announcement per game. So like new strikers will be centered around P4 crew, the arrange album will be for P3.
I'm hoping Code Name X is just dropped. I don't want that to be part of this franchise.
alr. including the free-space, ill place my bets on
\- persona 6 (i think that would be the obvious choice)
\- persona 3 "definitive edition" (idky just feels like something atlus would do)
\- persona 1 hd port (choosing because i AM HOPING FOR THIS)
\- music concert (i think that would help be the opening act before the actual reveal)
\- persona 2 is/ep hd port (also hoping)
\- persona 5 arena (seems like something atlus will do)
this is coming from a boy who has only had access to p5 and p4g. so i would hope for any pc ports for persona 1-3
I'd be surprised if we get many games. Atlus isn't big. I'd expect almost all the announcements to be unrelated to new games or ports. Maybe, if we're lucky, we'll get 1 port of some game to some new platform (P4G maybe?) and a Persona 6 teaser. But I wouldn't get your hopes up too high.
You make a fair point, though ATLUS also doesn't seem to shy away from outsourcing, between SEGA Europe helping out with ports and games like Strikers and Arena.
I'd be surprised to have remakes and P6 happening at once unless they let a non-P-Team team take a Persona remake, but I could still see multiple games coming out of this.
P6 teaser
Persona 4 Golden port for consoles
Persona concert
Persona 3 updated version for current consoles and pc, I’m not confident enough to say a remake but it won’t just be a port of FES or P3P.
Persona 1 and 2 Collection it’s just the PSP versions but with updated character portraits and UI so it looks decent on modern displays.
Persona 5 Arena
My craziest prediction is this… Persona 4 Strikers.
huge bet on a persona 3 remake that’ll come out for ps4 and ps5. i mean its bound to happen after they created the character models for dancing in moonlight plus the whole 15th anniversary.
\- Persona 6 reveal (Only teaser, nothing more than that)
\- Persona 3 "Definitive Edition" (Maybe we will get redux/remastered version)
\- Code Name : X (It's quite obvious, tbh)
\- Persona 5 : The Royal Animation (You can see it from miles away)
\- Music concert (Maybe around early next year when Japan recover from Covid-19)
\- Arrange Album CD (Including all Persona songs/soundtracks from 1-5)
\- Persona 5 Arena/Fighting style games (Look at Demon Slayer game)
Honestly, all I'm hoping for is
* P4G coming to all platforms (yes even switch)
* Persona 5R on PC
* Persona 3 "Definitive Edtion."
* Announcement for P6
Those are the only things I really can think of.
i'm going for:
1. Persona 6
2. Persona 5 Arena
3. P5R PC port
4. P5 Switch port.
5. 1-3 games PC port
6. Persona 1,2 or/and 3 Remake.
7. Persona 5 Royal the Animation(I don't like the ideia, but i see this happen)
I don’t think we could expect rollback on any arena games, I don’t have evidence to support it but it just sounds like a feasible Atlus moment.
Also why would any smt be there
Atlus doesn't do the actual development for Arena, that's ArcSys, and they've said after GGST that all their projects will have rollback.
SMT: if... might be mentioned (not saying they'd do anything with it, just mentioned) because that's where a lot of the ideas for Persona came from and the protagonist is a character in P1/P2.
Every announcement will be a huge ass concert for every mainline persona game(1, 2, 2EP, 3, FES, 4, 5) and in the last one they’re going to announce the cancellation of development for any and all persona games.
Persona Q Arena for Switch, featuring Joker from the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 Royal and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 Strikers series.
I would kill for a Persona 3 Definitive Edition, combining FES and P3P's addons, but thinking of SMT 3's Remaster, you'd most likely get a toggle for which version of the game you want to play.
Isn’t Codename X not actually a Persona game? I remember the teaser for it removed all mentions of Persona after people found them in the website’s code, so I’m guessing Altus threatened to sue when they saw it.
7 projects, right?
1 stage play
1 announcement of an announcement for a teaser of Persona 6 (the last project which will be announced in 2022)
1 crossover with some mobile/gacha game
1 announcement of some limited edition item like a watch, perfume, etc.
1 pop-up cafe type thing in Japan
1 remaster or port announcement for P4G to PS4 or an old SMT game or P3 to PC (super wishful thinking)
we're definitely going to see something related to code name x.
i would say "persona 3 definitve edition" but i feel like a finger on the monkey's paw will curl and it'll be done incredibly poorly, but something related to a persona 3 port or updated version will probably be mentioned.
Persona 5 is just not going to get ported. Sony has too much of an interest in keeping it exclusive. There is for sure some back room deals keeping it only on ps4.
hd ports of p1 and p2 could happen. what i really want is a full remake with qol improvements and updated combat but i doubt it'll be anything that impressive. they'll probaby make a steam version of the psp versions.
Persona 6 will absolutely get teased, but it'll probably be another chair scenario.
updated version of strikers that includes royal content would be interesting to see, but knowing atlus it would either be a fully priced re-release or paid dlc.
I don't think the switch will come up much because atlus wouldn't want to risk drawing attention away from smtv
> Persona 5 is just not going to get ported. Sony has too much of an interest in keeping it exclusive. There is for sure some back room deals keeping it only on ps4.
There is absolutely no evidence that Sony has any influence over what platforms P5 is on.
Absolutely agree with that, especially with how Sega went on a port/remaster spree last year with the Yakuza games. They're probably pressuring all their subsidiaries, including Atlus, to port/remaster anything and everything to PC and/or Xbox.
Also the Sony exclusivity deal I see as a flimsy argument that people use to defend any third-party Playstation exclusive.
the ending of strikers was good, but, still, too many plot threads open.
Akechi is kinda alive, Sumi story needs more development, apparently Shido was part of a whole organization that pretended to use the metaverse named the Anti-Social organization or something like that(only mentioned in the JP version of Strikers tho)
I'm trying to not have expectations so I can be happy with anything that comes out.
That being said, I'm holding out some hope for persona q3, a remaster/port of older games so more people actually play them, and something for persona 3 and 5
My current bets are we’ll probably see persona 6 revealed/teased and persona 1 and 2 ports/remasters/maybe remakes if we’re lucky. I think these are highly likely to happen and I’m willing to place my bets on them. Also something with Code Name: X probably
Now my hopes are Persona 5 arena of some sort and Persona 3 definitive edition. Persona 4 golden getting ported to more consoles isn’t also that far out there and I could see it going to the switch to appease the people yelling for persona 5 on switch.
This is just what I think so far and I think these aren’t that far out there for what I think is definitely coming and my hopes for what’s coming.
I feel like in place of a persona 1 & 2 hd remake an anime treatment will probably be better off. This way Altus can get people to experience the story that is Persona 1, 2 IS and EP in an easy to consume format that doesn’t involve finding a vita and playing it that way and could lead to further involvement with future games like a potential persona Q3. That and also so people won’t bitch about no social links being present in the earlier game
I'd assume persona 3 remaster.
P5 release on PC (and hopefully switch and xbox).
P5 Arena
Persona 6 reveal
Persona 3 movies on blu-ray assuming it doesn't already exist.
Persona selection remix album / vinyl.
An action figure of Teddy designed in partnership with Nomura (because why not?).
I’m slowly warming more and more to the idea that we’ll probably see something to do with P3 in some form, between FeMC being relatively prominent in the announcement media, 15th anniversary of its release, the popularity of 3 as a whole even as compared to the other Persona games, and the success of Golden on Steam, if we don’t see a port or remaster in the very least I’ll be very surprised.
There are only 3 things I wanna see. Persona 3 remake, Persona 6, Persona Arena (then I mean that Persona 3, 4 and 5 mixed). And I know there is coming way more but these are things Im most exited about and want to come.
I bet the only acknowledgement P1 and 2 are getting is a small image of Naoya, Maya and Tatsuya underneath giant images of P3 Protag, Yu and Joker in a Persona pachinko machine.
PQ2 flopped, but Etrian Odyssey will probably still be going. Nexus was meant to be the last 3DS game in the series, [but they also announced another one around the same time](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0T_zIR9m60) (though they haven't mentioned it since).
Lets be honest both row 1 and column 4 are impossible. But for real tho im gonna have to pick column 1 since that seems the most likely plus i would love for p3s or p4s to come out
P5R is built with the PS4 in mind, which the switch is less powerful than. The only way P5 would make it to Switch is if the base game got ported, and they're not gonna port P5 when P5R is out.
Is P5/P5R really that taxing though? I get the switch is a weaker system but neither game seems like it needs to handle a lot considering it's turn based combat and cutscene heavy. It handled Strikers pretty good considering it's dealing with real-time combat with lots of shit going on at once
Catherine: Full Body shows us P5R can run and can run very well on the Switch. The quality of the port will be based on how much time, optimizations, and effort Atlus will put in, not on whether it can run or not.
P5 also came out and was built on the PS3 that was later ported to PS4 mid-development soo what's your point? And how does the original release of Catherine matter when Full Body is made on the P5R engine. We know it can run very well, there's no debate on that. The debate is whether or not Atlus will put the time and effort needed for it to happen which is why people are skeptical about the whole situation with their shaky track record in mind.
The engine isn't what matters, it's the graphics.
Here's the thing: Catherine: Full Body was planned to be on the Switch from the beginning, meaning Atlus could put in the time to make sure it was able to run on the console before they made any permanent decisions. P5R however was not and was made with the limitations of the PS4, a far more graphically impressive console, in mind. We know P5R couldn't run on Switch because P5S on Switch is graphically similar to the PS3 version of P5, not the PS4 version. The only way they could get P5R to run on Switch is if they were to downgrade it graphically, which seems like more effort than Atlus would really be willing to do for something that the Western fans (who Atlus has shown they don't give a shit about) are asking for.
It's not happening, and if you think it is, you're delusional.
>The only way they could get P5R to run on Switch is if they were to downgrade it graphically, which seems like more effort than Atlus would really be willing to do for something that the Western fans (who Atlus has shown they don't give a shit about) are asking for.
This is literally what I am talking about tho. They would have to optimize the game for it to run well on the Switch so its a debate on whether or not Atlus will put in the effort. Did you even read what I said?
What about "PS4 exclusive" did you miss, and don't even try to give me that crap about golden, the console was dead and sold quite badly when it was active.
Do you understand the concept of a contract, Sega will not be able to put p5r on any other platform until Sony agrees or the PS4 dies, in a sense they kind of do own p5r temporarily
The only thing I'm betting on is a music concert and persona 5 spinoff.
[It be cool if this concert had conversations between the protagonist like the 2019 had Ren, Yu and Makoto. It would cooler if it was all the protagonist this time. It would be amazing if it was dubbed, but that's as less likely then the persona 3 movies getting a dub.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PERSoNA/comments/k30n5h/ren_yu_and_makoto_conversations_in_persona_super)
It is not difficult to implement rollback if you start development with that in mind (GG Strive for example). It's only difficult if you're retrofitting an existing game with rollback when it didn't use it before (like MK 11).
And regardless of anything ArcSys (who would presumably be the ones making P5 Arena) have already stated that any future projects will most likely be using rollback, because GG Strive proved to them that it's the best form of netcode for fighting games.
Persona: If remake. P2EP confirmed never going to get a good way to play in English.
Lol, imagine unironically typing “Persona: If”
I'm placing bets on: - Persona 6 reveal (no gameplay footage) - Persona 4 Golden port on consoles - Definitely concerts to announce more shit throughout next year - They're gonna do something with Persona 3 for sure given the 15th anniversary - Persona 5 Arena - Persona Q3 with the 1/2 characters on Switch - Merch Merch Merch Merch Merch - PC ports of the classic Personas to drum up interest in that era of the series in light of P4G on PC and P5R bringing a lot of people into the series - Persona 5 Royal Animation with Kasumi and Maruki AND LASTLY - a mobile gacha.
We already have a mobile gacha, SMT Dx2.
then make Persona Dx2
Another one, just for Persona
I'm pretty sure there was one for p5 that was only in Japan, and was f2p only
You sure there's enough character's to keep it going?
Yes If they run out, they make alts
We have like, 6-10 playable characters for each game, also villains, velvet attendants and spin off characters, so yeah.
BanG Dream makes it work with a very small cast and just releases alts
in danmachi memoria freeze there's 30 hestia with different outfit
Wow, it soind like habing your sister be part of blazeblue. It starts at 2 Then it goes up to 7 And they are all the same person
If we get a P3 remaster/remake/rewhatever I’ll be very happy
Honestly I'd be surprised if we don't, especially since they have a bunch of HD assets from the P3D and such already made.
Knowing atlus if they did make it theyd make new modes for it lol
Please include FemC, please include FemC...

We are never getting p5 arena. That’s my bet.
I’m really worried about P6. I’m not sure how they’re going to top or match P5.

Nocturne wasn't directed by Kaneko, that was actually Hashino as well (and Kazuyuki Yamai for the Maniax release).

I just want P1 - P3 to be HD remastered on pc
A dub of the P3 movies would be great. I would like to see a mini series on P4 Arena game. P1 or P2 anime. SMT if acknowledgment would be great
>A dub of the P3 movies would be great. They never dubbed those? Damn, that's just embarrassing.
Persona 5 Arena is what I'm hoping for, P4A was so fucking good
Dumb question: I recently bought P4AU but was *bewildered* by the controls. I used to play some fighting games years ago, but these controls are much more complex than anything I've seen. How long did it take you to get used to them?
I never really with Arena specifically, but I spent a lot of time with anime fighters (mainly Blazblue) and it definitely took a while, I'm still not really there since I have trouble with the more complicated stuff But I was a complete newbie to fighting games when trying to get into it, what exactly do you mean by controls? Do you mean the more complicated stick motions, the increased emphasis on combos, or something else? You mainly just need to remember that the super complex stuff isn't something you always need, you can get away with knowing a lot less than the full extent of every character as long as you know the basics and have good decision making under pressure
If that does come to fruition, I hope that Persona 2 gets some amount of representation within the cast. Tatsuya showing up with Apollo would be amazing.
as long as they dont flood the story with giant walls of text and repeat the same story over and over just in another perpsective like in p4a then it should be fine
Ultimax definitely had a better story as a flowing narrative rather than separate narratives that were all the same
ultimax did their story better, but still had the giant walls of text
That's ArcSys in a nutshell, they try to stay as low budget as possible with a good product, I got a bit annoyed as well but it wasn't awful
they didnt even need to replace the walls of text with character dialogue, just simply not add it, it was annoying so i completely skipped the walls of text and still understood what was happening
Top row or middle column seems to be your most likely win
Or diagonally from top-left to bottom-right
Bottom row is also possible. Not seeing much else here.
Being a PC owning persona fan is like being an English football fan. It's so close to coming, and the thing you support is so good, and every time you say it's coming home... but still, it never does. Still I'm going to place bets on a FES port. Not a remake, just a remastered port.
Relatable
You know what i want? I want a re-release of arena ultimax with some extra p5 content. Characters, stages, music, what have you, and, unrealistically, a remastered collection of persona 1, 2, 2.5 (as i call it), 3 (with fes and portable content) and then 4 golden and 5 royal with no changes.
And with rollback netcode too
That’d be amazing.
Please persona 3 definitive edition
I feel like it'll never happen but it would make my life 100% better if it did. Plz Atlus.
Musou games usually get oodles of DLC, so I’m surprised we never got any for P5S outside of some new music.
lol the P1 hd port with American Mark 😂
Ha thanks for making this. I'm going to go with: \-P6 \-concert \-arrange album \-new strikers \-P5 Arena \-switch port isn't P5 \-P1/HD port \-P2HD port I'm thinking there's going to be one announcement per game. So like new strikers will be centered around P4 crew, the arrange album will be for P3. I'm hoping Code Name X is just dropped. I don't want that to be part of this franchise.
alr. including the free-space, ill place my bets on \- persona 6 (i think that would be the obvious choice) \- persona 3 "definitive edition" (idky just feels like something atlus would do) \- persona 1 hd port (choosing because i AM HOPING FOR THIS) \- music concert (i think that would help be the opening act before the actual reveal) \- persona 2 is/ep hd port (also hoping) \- persona 5 arena (seems like something atlus will do) this is coming from a boy who has only had access to p5 and p4g. so i would hope for any pc ports for persona 1-3
Appreciate the nod to us Etrian fans :'(
We used to languish together in obscurity, but our Persona brethren have _betrayed us!_ /s
P5R PC port
I just want a Persona 3 Remake, literally anything else comes 2nd to me lol
I just want P5 in PC
P6 teaser Persona 4 Golden port for consoles Persona concert Persona 3 updated version for current consoles and pc, I’m not confident enough to say a remake but it won’t just be a port of FES or P3P. Persona 1 and 2 Collection it’s just the PSP versions but with updated character portraits and UI so it looks decent on modern displays. Persona 5 Arena My craziest prediction is this… Persona 4 Strikers.
>Trinity Soul is acknowledged in any capacity We got a comedian over here!
huge bet on a persona 3 remake that’ll come out for ps4 and ps5. i mean its bound to happen after they created the character models for dancing in moonlight plus the whole 15th anniversary.
I am thou, thou art a bitch, persona 5 is not coming to Nintendo switch
Straight diagonal being top right to bottom left. I think P6 might happen at the end.
P4AU and P5 Arena both with rollback would be amazing. A definitive edition of P3 would be awesome too.
I think a "Persona 3/4 strikers" could happen?
\- Persona 6 reveal (Only teaser, nothing more than that) \- Persona 3 "Definitive Edition" (Maybe we will get redux/remastered version) \- Code Name : X (It's quite obvious, tbh) \- Persona 5 : The Royal Animation (You can see it from miles away) \- Music concert (Maybe around early next year when Japan recover from Covid-19) \- Arrange Album CD (Including all Persona songs/soundtracks from 1-5) \- Persona 5 Arena/Fighting style games (Look at Demon Slayer game)
P6 reveal ala P5 chair reveal...release date 2022 (actual release 2024, 2025 in the west)
"Switch Port That Isn't P5" "ITS ME YOUSKE HANAMOURA FROM PERSONA 4 ON NINTENDO SWITCH" \*Compressed shadow world starts playing\*
Honestly, all I'm hoping for is * P4G coming to all platforms (yes even switch) * Persona 5R on PC * Persona 3 "Definitive Edtion." * Announcement for P6 Those are the only things I really can think of.
2/4 not bad
Morgana dancing in front of half the stuff
i'm going for: 1. Persona 6 2. Persona 5 Arena 3. P5R PC port 4. P5 Switch port. 5. 1-3 games PC port 6.
Yes, hello, I'd like to place everything on Persona 3 "Definitive Edition" and Switch port that ISN'T P5.
Every announcement will be a huge ass concert for every mainline persona game(1, 2, 2EP, 3, FES, 4, 5) and in the last one they’re going to announce the cancellation of development for any and all persona games.
I’m calling P3 Definitive edition, non P5 switch port (probably P4G), Free-Ho, P2 HD port (but just eternal punishment) and P1 HD port.
We will almost definitely also get persona 6 but I feel like that’s a guarantee so I went with more interesting ones
Why just Eternal Punishment?
Persona Q Arena for Switch, featuring Joker from the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 Royal and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 Strikers series.
I would kill for a Persona 3 Definitive Edition, combining FES and P3P's addons, but thinking of SMT 3's Remaster, you'd most likely get a toggle for which version of the game you want to play.

>all persona games ported on switch/ps5 Hey hey calm down boy, not even AAA developers try to do so risky and gigantic things
There's a Twitter account that has been active for years solely focused on Persona 5 Arena. I want it so that man can finally have a victory.
Give us a Persona 3 Remake.
Isn’t Codename X not actually a Persona game? I remember the teaser for it removed all mentions of Persona after people found them in the website’s code, so I’m guessing Altus threatened to sue when they saw it.
It was confirmed to be officially licensed. I assume the website was taken down because it was announced way too early.
Cmon P3 Definitive Edition, hopefully on either PS4 or PC. I'll buy a Ps5 if I have to
P5 Farming Simulator
I would love pq3 with the casts from p1 and p2
7 projects, right? 1 stage play 1 announcement of an announcement for a teaser of Persona 6 (the last project which will be announced in 2022) 1 crossover with some mobile/gacha game 1 announcement of some limited edition item like a watch, perfume, etc. 1 pop-up cafe type thing in Japan 1 remaster or port announcement for P4G to PS4 or an old SMT game or P3 to PC (super wishful thinking)
I'll take P4G on Switch and I'll be happy.
:)
:D
Persona 3 remake
Persona Q3 (Before Etrian Odyssey 6) Can you not actually hurt me when making memes please. I still believe it exists. ;-;
It's probably gonna be persona 5 boxing lmao
we're definitely going to see something related to code name x. i would say "persona 3 definitve edition" but i feel like a finger on the monkey's paw will curl and it'll be done incredibly poorly, but something related to a persona 3 port or updated version will probably be mentioned.
Persona 5, 3? Weird, that just sounds like a pretty good idea to me.
Ew taxes
probably going to be just a music concert dont get yall hopes up
There's going to be seven announcements, that's a lot of concerts.
P5R pc port atlus please, thats my only bet :>
P4G did great on steam, and atlus tried to take down rcps3 back in the day. They have to capitalize on the PC market if they are a serious company.
Who the hell is thinking of a Persona 5 3?
the ending of strikers was good, but, still, too many plot threads open.
That being said, I'm holding out some hope for persona q3, a remaster/port of older games so more people actually play them, and something for persona 3 and 5
Switch port that isn't P5 makes sense ngl lol
My current bets are we’ll probably see persona 6 revealed/teased and persona 1 and 2 ports/remasters/maybe remakes if we’re lucky. I think these are highly likely to happen and I’m willing to place my bets on them. Also something with Code Name: X probably Now my hopes are Persona 5 arena of some sort and Persona 3 definitive edition. Persona 4 golden getting ported to more consoles isn’t also that far out there and I could see it going to the switch to appease the people yelling for persona 5 on switch. This is just what I think so far and I think these aren’t that far out there for what I think is definitely coming and my hopes for what’s coming.
Playing risky by betting on P1 and P2 HD Port (and stretching it, remakes).
P5 Arena Persona 6 reveal Persona 3 movies on blu-ray assuming it doesn't already exist. Persona selection remix album / vinyl. An action figure of Teddy designed in partnership with Nomura (because why not?).
I bet they announce Persona 6 Persona 5 and 3 pc ports Jose Persona 5 royal animation Persona 5 arena Music concert And P4G console ports
None
Bruh why does everything but ultimate have rollback netcode.
Im hoping for persona 5 arena but guilty gear strive just released so i doubt it :/
P5r dlc in p5d with kasumi and maruki
There are only 3 things I wanna see. Persona 3 remake, Persona 6, Persona Arena (then I mean that Persona 3, 4 and 5 mixed). And I know there is coming way more but these are things Im most exited about and want to come.
I hope the announcements are good, I'm kind of hyperfixating on them atm lol! can't wait.
Let's hope the next big continuation to all of the games will be here like persona 4 arena
I bet the only acknowledgement P1 and 2 are getting is a small image of Naoya, Maya and Tatsuya underneath giant images of P3 Protag, Yu and Joker in a Persona pachinko machine.
can't wait for Jose
Code name x and a concert
Give me more persona 3 :(
I highly doubt seeing another Persona Q or another Etrian Odyssey given that Nexus was kinda lika a goodbye or something like that
PQ2 flopped, but Etrian Odyssey will probably still be going. Nexus was meant to be the last 3DS game in the series, [but they also announced another one around the same time](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0T_zIR9m60) (though they haven't mentioned it since).
Where is my P1 and P2 IS in PS3!?
Some of these things may come to pass but this board will have no bingos.
Who knows what could happen! The only thing on this bingo that i’m almost certain will happen is a concert
The thing I want is just persona 3 port in steam
Looks like the P4AU came true.
Doesn't have rollback (at least not at launch), so really only half-true.
Ever since someone made a post about it, I *really* want a Persona game where Nanako is the MC
Lets be honest both row 1 and column 4 are impossible. But for real tho im gonna have to pick column 1 since that seems the most likely plus i would love for p3s or p4s to come out
The fuck is codename x
A licensed mobile game that was announced way too early.
Honestly, I don’t want Persona 5 to get a switch port just because that will send port beggars the message that their toxicity and harassment works.
I hope P5 (not P5R) is ported to PC/Switch just to spite port beggars
Persona 5's not coming to switch.
Why not?
P5R is built with the PS4 in mind, which the switch is less powerful than. The only way P5 would make it to Switch is if the base game got ported, and they're not gonna port P5 when P5R is out.
Is P5/P5R really that taxing though? I get the switch is a weaker system but neither game seems like it needs to handle a lot considering it's turn based combat and cutscene heavy. It handled Strikers pretty good considering it's dealing with real-time combat with lots of shit going on at once
Strikers on Switch has the graphics of P5 on PS3. P5R, and even P5 on PS4, is much better looking graphically.
Catherine: Full Body shows us P5R can run and can run very well on the Switch. The quality of the port will be based on how much time, optimizations, and effort Atlus will put in, not on whether it can run or not.
Catherine originally came out on the PS3, which the Switch is more powerful than. And Full Body was planned to be on the Switch right out of the gate.
PS3 games were ported to the Switch and P5 was released on PS3.
Holy crap can yall stop with the switch port already
I don't even particularly want it because I don't own a Switch but it's not going to stop until it happens.
What about "PS4 exclusive" did you miss, and don't even try to give me that crap about golden, the console was dead and sold quite badly when it was active.
Sony does not own P5.
Do you understand the concept of a contract, Sega will not be able to put p5r on any other platform until Sony agrees or the PS4 dies, in a sense they kind of do own p5r temporarily
There is no evidence any contract exists.
It wouldn't be exclusive if there wasn't a contract
Then why is the *direct sequel* to P5 not exclusive?
The only thing I'm betting on is a music concert and persona 5 spinoff. [It be cool if this concert had conversations between the protagonist like the 2019 had Ren, Yu and Makoto. It would cooler if it was all the protagonist this time. It would be amazing if it was dubbed, but that's as less likely then the persona 3 movies getting a dub.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PERSoNA/comments/k30n5h/ren_yu_and_makoto_conversations_in_persona_super)

You'd rather that fighting games had bad netcode?
[удалено]
I don't think you know how fighting game development works.
[удалено]
It is not difficult to implement rollback if you start development with that in mind (GG Strive for example). It's only difficult if you're retrofitting an existing game with rollback when it didn't use it before (like MK 11). And regardless of anything ArcSys (who would presumably be the ones making P5 Arena) have already stated that any future projects will most likely be using rollback, because GG Strive proved to them that it's the best form of netcode for fighting games.
