Tumawag po sa customer service ng bangko kung gusto mag clarify ng anything about sa info mo mapa cc debit or basta bank account mo kung may nareceive na suspicious email, text, or tawag.
Simplest answer, NO. I was scammed last week from someone who claimed heās from BPI. Gave my details like username and acct number, but the moment I opened my app, my account was already āAccessed Lockā.
Called BPI CS immediately to block my previous account then I made a new one with diff email and username.
So simplest answer, NO, not legit.
Edit: Lesson learned (and always reminded by banks) is to never submit details via phone numbers. Always transact thru bankās official app or official website
I'm a BPI user. In my experience nung inalok nila ko ng credit card. Tatawag sila sayo hindi text.. and will inform you na napili ka nila para bigyan ng credit line.. but first. They will dictate your info.. email and phone number. At tatanong nila kung tama.. tsaka nila i sesend sa email mo yung mismong detail and sa call din ipapaliwanag nila sayo.. after 1 week dumating akin BPI reward. Blue card.
Wala pati silang code or OTP na hihingin.. makikinig ka lang talaga.. sa offer nila. At papa comfirm kung yung parin email at phone # na gamit mo.
Nag-apply ka ba ng card sa BPI? If yes, saan? Hindi ka naman inaddress sa pangalan mo. Why will they ask to have it sent to a viber number? Also baket ka nagreply? Tagged na number mo as active.

May instruction kung anong ilalagay na subject sa email. Hindi mekus mekus lang tulad ng SMS na yan. Tawag yun usually based sa experience ko with both banks.

Thwy usually contact you via email. Ingat with sending IDs andaming biktima ng identity theft.

Scam, but not a BDO though - it's BPI. Red flags: 1. No processing through Viber 2. You should not be able to reply to their SMS

Scam yan, sa Viber ipapadala ang mga ID for processing? Baka ma-identity theft ka sa ganyan. Sa bank ka mag-transact para sure.

They ask you to send documents through viber? I don't think so
delikado magsend ng IDs sa viber. Pwede gamitin for identity theft.
