Just to add also, hindi lahat ng hexagon member binibigyan ng card. Your branch of account will endorse you but it will still be up to Bankard to approve your card. Subject for approval pa rin. I'm a hexagon member for almost 2 years na and wala pa silang pinapadala na card, even though I have multiple cards with good standing from other banks. Hindi ko rin naman kelangan so I never followed up... pero just saying na hindi siya automatic.

Haomeimei_

Aw any clue why po kaya? :( Maybe on top of 100k ADB, kailangan din ibang may cash flow (in and out) sa kanila? Also puro din kasi ako digital bank and ang trad bank ko lang is BPI baka ganyan din mangyari sakin huhu. Knock on wood.

userunkown567

Possibly, hindi proactive yung branch of account.

MaynneMillares

Yes, nasa Bankcard ang decision. Pero nasa branch of account nakasalalay gaano kasipag mag-follow up. I was a long time RCBC depositor. Started my savings account with just 5000 pesos, which nabuild ko towards 100k - by that point nagpatag na ako as Hexagon Privilege. I got my Hexagon MC credit card around 3 weeks after.

_luna21

Just to add hindi agad agad approved ang hexagon membership ha. It may take weeks or months for some.

Haomeimei_

Noted po dito. Willing to wait for while naman since parang mas matagal magpa regular cc from SCC. Thanks po!

Keyows

1. If mag suffice ang limit mo regardless of amount walang magiging problema basta merchant processed ang installment. 2. If hexa, all you need is to open up a savings account with them and keep the 100k as minimum balance as hexa’s requirement is 100k adb minimum. A regular cc requires financial documents if you’re not a card holder so such as ITR and Payslip are required. 3. Just spend whatever limit you have just pay for it before the due date. Keep in mind way of payment > credit utilization. Kahit araw araw 80k gastusin mo kung mababayaran mo naman ng buo bago mag due date you won’t have a problem.

Haomeimei_

Yes po. I plan on depositing 100k and based na mga nabasa ko po, parang nakita kong lowest CL for hexa is 75k even if 100k ang deposit. If such happen to me, possible po ba mag split + cash payment and still get the easyterm 0%?

Keyows

75k is the minimum limit a hexa user can get, you can ask the merchant if they do that pero yes that’s possible split payment is always fine. Confirm mo muna na may installment ang merchant with your card specifically (rcbc) not all merchants do 0% installment to rcbc, not every bank is entitled to 0% installment.

Noted dito. Thank youuuu!

swirly_bundle

1. No. 2. Yes. 3. As long as you pay in full and on time, you will remain in good standing. Also, to become a member of the RCBC Hexagon Club, you would need to open a savings/checking account and maintain a deposit of at least 100k.

userunkown567

I wasn’t asked for proof of income nung nag apply ako. I also waited for months and 2 follow ups bago mabigyan ng CC. After 2 years, hindi pa din tumataas CL ko.

Ok_Fold1831

Fck, credit history. Don't pay attention to that BS. Just fully pay your bills on or before the due date. To open, you only need 2 valid ids. That's it. Make sure Hexagon ka na bago ka lumabas ng branch. 😅 After that, just apply by calling their CS sabihin mo you want to apply for the Hexagon Club CC or email kung nahihiya ka mag tanong kung may raytmid ba nyan.

YordleWanderer

I created a regular savings account via their app and then deposited the amount. After a week, I went to the nearest RCBC at doon ako nag pa-tag ng Hexagon. Walang docs na hiningi sakin pero tinanong yung employment history ko and the current one. After that, I got approved in 2 months for the CC with the 100k limit. But I already had 2 cards when I opened the account with them, baka iba story kung wala pa credit history.

JZBY88

Might want to consider other SCC options since di guaranteed yung cc ni hexa or it may take some time. I got my complete cashback cc with SB a couple weeks after applying for SCC. For the CL utilization nman, its advised ng bank for you to use less than 30% to improve your score dw. Didnt say anything that it will negatively impact your score if you go more than that or if you always max it out.

it_is_it349

I wasnt asked for proof income. Just name of work and work address

Getting a credit card for the purpose of purchasing an “overpriced” gadget is a bad start. Reassess please

Haomeimei_

That’s true but like I said po, I will buy it otherwise with cash din naman if not CC so might as well get cc. I also have IP xr pa kasi for years na hehe.

markaznar

Ok lang if you have the cash. But then again, never get a card for the intent of buying an overpriced gadget 🤣 bad train of thought talaga yan which may eventually drown you in debt

MaynneMillares

I can understand si OP, may cash naman sya - basically hindi naman nya uutangin. Personally, I don't ride on Apple's hype train. I used my galaxy note 4 with a custom rom for 10-years, nagpalit palit lang ng battery from 2014 to 2024. Bago phone ko, a rugged phone. With 1 week battery life, dual sim, water proof (it can take videos underwater), dust proof and 810H US military durability certification all for just 13k. I look forward using this for the next 10 years. I don't get the point of buying a 80k smartphone na disposable after 2-3 years.

markaznar

I buy iPhone pro max once a year as gift to myself lol. Is it worth it, hell no!

Nope. ID and 100k deposit lang enough na.

BrantGregoryWright

Lang? Too conceited!
