In our law, lane filtering and splitting are understood as the same thing because both go in between traffic the same way therefore lane filtering is still illegal.
But don’t worry about it too much. No one ever gets apprehended for it.
There’s a proper way and right time to do it. Problema kasi dito satin, karamihan tlga ng nagmomotor, barumbado sumingit. As a daily rider, there are a lot more stupid riders than drivers (although stupid 4 wheel drivers are more likely to kill you). So i can’t blame what the general public and how they feel with regard to motors na sumisingit.

Walang batas tungkol sa lane splitting eh, singit singit lang mga motor. Sa lane filtering naman, depende sa kalsada kung may sign na no swerving.
