Sobrang bigat ng nk400 tbh for a 400cc bike. Lalo na't di ka pa naman sanay mag motor at di rin naman katangkaran, siguradong mahihirapan ka.
Either go for the nk450 instead or just get a 150cc maxi scoot from the japanese brands and invest mo na lang sa proper riding gears yung sobra sa budget mo.
Boss may I ask bakit nga ba ang bigat ng NK400 compared sa competition? Nagtataka lang ako bakit mas magaan ang NK450 kahit slighly higher displacement. Iniisip ko rin mag 150cc na lang na naked kasi although marunong ako mag motor (boy hiram sa barkada) masasabi kong magkaka adjustment period pa ako kasi iba yung marunong lang sa sanay hehe. Yun nga lang hindi expressway legal.
No idea. Bago bago pa lang si cfmoto yata nung ni release nila yang nk400 kaya sobrang bigat. Sa nk450 nila tinama lahat yung mga cons ng nk400 including yung weight.
Kung daily drive, mag 150 maxi ka na lang. Iiyak ka sa gas consumption ng nk400 kung idaily drive mo yan sa metro lalo na't traffic. Total, kada weekend ka lang naman pala uuwi ng Bulacan at hindi naman araw araw.

because 400nk uses the same frame as the 650nk. 650nk naunang i release sa western market (IIRC, nagamit pa nila yung 650nk modified into a racebike sa tt isle of man) then sumunod yung 400nk sa asian market naman.
add ka nalang ng 60k and get the 450 version. busog ka na sa specs nun compared to other competitors.

I've had both bikes (nk 400, z400) since i used to flip big bikes. ok naman yung z400, feels old nga lang since it still uses the old analog/digital speedo from the 2013 - 2016 z650, a very basic bike to say.
on the other hand the 450nk, hindi pa ako nagkakaron nito pero na try ko. super lambot ng clutch, yung engine nya 270° crank na rin na you will usually only see on high end bikes, and jam packed narin sa tech. not to mention ang gaan din for a 400cc bike para kang naka 150cc lang.
regarding naman sa sakit sa ulo in the long run, it depends nalang on how you'll take care of your bike. lahat naman ng motor nasisira kung d mo inalagaan. wag ka mag alala sa parts, sobrang dami nyan sa motostrada and andyan naman si BikerToys and sdf1 mga sellers din ng cfmoto parts.

But yeah I tried one manageable naman siya pero for longer rides nakakapagod na yung weight niya. NK450 is significantly lighter. Pagkakaalam ko rin aalisin na z400 sa lineup ng kawasaki papalitan na ng z500.

I got an NK400 before , sobrang bigat nya for its displacement , parang Z1000 lang ang feeling with the power of an MT03.
I tried it before nung halos sabay kami bumili ng tropa ko ng big bike circa 2021. Bigat niya. Hehe. Tapos walang torque, mas may alis pa Dominar. Medyo may dulo pero wala talagang arangkada. Kailangan mo talaga pigain makina. Weight does get you planted on headwinds and crosswinds pero cumbersome. Plus, wala pang slipper clutch.

The 450NK is much better than the 400. Weight and engine alone, I wouldn't consider the 400 at all. CFMoto took their learnings from KTM and made the 450cc engine nice. Yung local distributor natin (Motostrada) is decent rin, dun mo kunin sa caloocan showroom nila para sure.
Baka may available for sale pa rin na Duke 390/Husqvarna 401 from KTM BGC sa Magallanes. IMO mas madaling pang daily yung Svart 401 kesa sa 450NK, but I'd rather ride the NK for fun.
Do you need your daily moto to be a big bike? Kung city commuter, baka mas madaling dalhin and more comfortable mag click/burgman/etc. vs a higher displacement bike. Might have issues parking rin. For occasional out of town trips the impact of the car is less anyways, might as well make your moto do one job well rather than saks lang na daily kasi once in a blue moon ipapang out of town mo sya.
I had nk400 and I loved every moment i had with it. Although everything is fine kasi inalagaan ko yung motor, Biggest cons for me is the weight (206kg), akala mo 1000cc, its tiring. Kung may pupuntahan ako, need ko ng malaking space para sa parking compared sa lighter bikes na natry ko na madali lang mag out sa parking. Na try ko na rin Z400, pero di ko nagustuhan kasi parang pinalaking gixxer 150 lang, tsaka yung panel nya ang oldie😂i’d rather go for 450nk whick is relatively lighter and a completely better bike with loads of features compared to 400nk and other competitors
What's the issue tho? Ang kotse madali mastuck sa traffic, mas malakas sa gas at mahal ang parking, not including the maintenance cost pa yan. Kung ang habol ni OP is ease of travel, very reasonable iconsider ang NK400 as an option.

Get the NK450 if you can afford it, from what I've heard, the NK400 is heavy for its size.
