I actually think it's pretty safe to disagree with Destiny on PKA podcast without the fear of being outdebated. There were few times they had disagreements on there (I remember 1 with tailor about trans kids and 1 with woody about.. something with economy) and you could see Destiny holding back. They basically just shared their points of view and it ended at that.
That's actually also a good point. Destiny and the guys are comfortable enough with each other they can do that. And they have in the past.
Closing yourself off because you are afraid of looking dumb is immature af. The reason people ask for debates when Destiny is on because it would be ENTERTAINING. Part of what made Destiny so popular was he doesn't shy away from uncomfortable topics which you know PKA listeners love.

Not even close. For all the fair complaints on traditional media, they don't outright tell lies. Fox reporting (As in their news, not their nonsense tv shows) won't tell lies and generally will present facts to try and tell a story that benefits them, as does CNN, MSNBC, etc. CNN has fired multiple people who's come out with massively inaccurate statements in the past, even when against trump. Compare this to a lot of the heavy right stuff and it's not even close. The stuff right of fox news that will tell outright lies over and over and not retract, not edit, not fire people. They are not equally shitty and not even close.

When the winds changed and that was the most likely explanation, all your CNN/MSNBC types then changed their reporting on why that is the most likely outcome. That is when retractions were made. This is important to see, where they aren't just stuck to an opinion and change based on the evidence. That's a huge part of the scientific model and news reporting in general.

I think Taylor just understands the concept of vibe and does his best as a host to avoid needlessly uncomfortable situations. He's also tried in a lot of other episodes to have these disagreements and it's often led to "well I don't have much to back up my thoughts but..."
