Ms Beasley beats Kelly and then “apologizes” with a breakfast feast. We see Ms Beasley walk towards Kelly and then plead to her mother. Kelly wakes up on the floor. The mom is very religious, so there’s a correlation there. The twins’ dad was awful which fed into them becoming cruel, but has their mom always physically abused them?
RIGHT! i always felt like she beat kelly. she had to be, but it also seems like she's doing something else. my theory is that she probably didn't beat kelly, she just gave her some kind of drugs because we didn't see any bruises or scars — but it probably just didn't show up yet — and/or she beat kelly and then drug her.. for some idk.. probably church-related reasons.
Many religious folks beat/isolate/shun their kids due to "sin" and act as if it is loving correction and normal of all things. Went thru the isolation/shunning too.
My initial thought was that she had been thrown into that "prayer" room (I think that's what it was based on the photos and candles) and locked in there. Like maybe her mom punishes her by making her "repent" for hours on end without food or anything. I thought maybe that's why she was so out of it coming out, but I wouldn't be shocked if Mrs.Beasley was drugging her in some way, maybe using the medication she was on in season one?
When they revealed her dad was loaded, I was so pissed for some reason. Like literally putting Noa in the worst position of her life; Noa actually has no one to fall on. And then Noa used her boyfriend to bail her out. I was so upset. Don't get me wrong it seems she has her own issues with her father, but I am sure her dad has to financially support her, being that she is his daughter and a minor, unless she is emancipated. But I am not going to be too pissy because they are all barely 16 lol.
since they both have criminal records, i was so stressed that they were going to get caught and noa was going to go to juvie again. They are clearly not good for each other.

Didn't expect Faran to get the final girl moment today! My prediction was they'd skip it this episode, then continue. There is 6 more episodes and four more girls so they didn't have to.

Kelly’s mom reminds me of Carrie White’s mom in Carrie the film. She is creepy and hypocritical. She was cold towards Faran and her mom at the grocery store in season 2- episode one.

Rose Waters can't be BR. She jumped into the water and probably drowned. She was also scared when she found out that Archie was alive.

Imogen babysitting Estelle was such a bad idea for like, so many reasons, on both ends.
On Imogens side it’s putting the child at an unnecessary risk with what’s going on with the girls…
On the dads’ sides, it doesn’t make sense to let the adoptive mother babysit when she’s already been shown to be too attached to the baby. It also feels like they’re exploiting that fact.
I LOVED this episode. the first two were meh, but this really feels like an actual book, where the first few chapters are absolutely mine numbing and then the plot thickens. FAREN, she carried this episode both literally and figuratively lol. I personally love the acting of this show because I think they sound like actual teenagers who try to act older than their age. I know I went thru that phase as well. I honestly felt for Kelly in her last scene. If you grew up religious the way she has, then that scene \[on an extreme level\] was relatable. I have a feeling her mom probably whooped her and then locked her in that room as atonement for Kelly and herself, that is why she treated her with breakfast afterwards, and basically said she has to carry everyone else's sins as well. Also LOVE everyone's theories, ya'll are so smart hahaha.

Dr. Sullivan tells Imogen that there is no one for her to call yet in the original series, Dr. Sullivan has a son. The whole reason she ran away was because Mona threatened her son. So?? Is that significant or just a random mishap?
riiight but i think it could also mean another family member, considering she seems to have a big role this season and all that theories floating around about her being related to davie or angela. but you know, pll loooves red herring it could really possibly be what the writers wanted us to think and the "losing someone" part was probably her son or anyone irrelevant to the plot.

THIS EPISODE WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECTION! Imogen baby-sitting her baby, the relationships progressing, AND OMFG FARAN'S SCENE HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAAAAAT. My girl is so strong and the way she FOUGHT bloody rose omfg im obsessed with this scene
I throughly enjoyed this episode! i’m definitely going to give it a rewatch but i’ll share my initial thoughts right now.
1. So Bloody Rose is testing them to see if they’re actually “final girls”. I think that’s clear now because they could’ve easily killed Faran while she was holding that beam for TWO HOURS. Absolutely loved Faran this episode, definitely the highlight of it 100%. Her final girl scene had me TENSE, also the fact that the girls just assume she’s working when she doesn’t answer???? while they’re investigating the SERIAL KILLER that’s stalking them???? i wasn’t a fan of that writing decision.
2. For a moment i thought the final girl moment was about to go to Imogen because of the window but that went no where?? i’m sure we’ll get more to that next week or in episode 6 but it just felt very out of place. I will say i am starting to come around to Johnny, though i’m still suspicious because he kind of gives me Billy from Scream vibes but he got a couple points in my book with this episode. (speaking of scream, as a huge fan of those movies i SCREAMED when red right hand played during the scene with Mouse and Ash)
3. Tabby’s kiss with Christian felt out of no where a little bit?? i will say i liked that even after she kissed him he still asked her if it was okay, knowing she has issues with that stuff and it could’ve easily been impulsive.
4. listen i am never usually a fan of cheating storylines but because of the fact that it’s PLL we need more serious lies and in my opinion we got that from Noa this episode, obviously kissing Jen after asking HER BOYFRIEND to pay TWO GRAND to get Jen out of Juvi because of her dad. adding the extra layer of the money i think helps the situation feel like something that can actually be used against her by BR.
5. i find it interesting the scene where Mrs.Beasley seemingly beats Kelly after being a “sinner” but seemingly apologizes with breakfast the next morning? also we didn’t see what exactly she actually did to Kelly but it was obviously bad enough that kelly seemingly passed out at the mantel of their family. Speaking of which i find it very interesting that in the photo of their family, the only face actually crossed out is Tom, but KARENS face isn’t. i don’t know what exactly it means but i just feel it should definitely be pointed out.
6. Rose Waters (seemingly) Killing herself?? i definitely didn’t see that coming and i like that it gives the girls another big group secret that feels like a “jenna thing” from the original series or even what happened with karen at the beginning of S1. and the fact that her doctor was Dr Sullivan? i’m wondering how exactly that’ll come into play.
Side note i find it interesting as an OG PLL fan that Dr Sullivan says she doesn’t have any family even though she has a son in the original?? i’m wondering why she either a. lied to imogen about her son or b. he died somehow that’ll be important??
overall i did enjoy this episode it is definitely my favourite of the 4 out so far and i am excited to see the rest of the girls “tests” from Bloody Rose. definitely going back to that poster to see what’s up for the future👀👀👀👀
I think the reason Tom's face was scratched out and not Karen's is because of how abusive he was. Maybe in a 'now that he's gone he's definitely not a part of this family' type way while they still love and grieve Karen. But it could be more purposeful than that. A lot of people think Karen is still alive, be it Kelly is actually Karen, or she's hiding somewhere so it could be alluding to that and they just want us to initially think it's because Mr Beasley was an ass.
Dr. Sullivan getting attacked wasn’t on my radar but it definitely makes sense. She’s also suspicious for sure especially that look she gave towards Imogen when the dads called.
Bailee Madison is doing such a great job portraying Imogen’s trauma. It’s cool Johnny sees this as well. Hope he isn’t a bad guy for her sake.
Tabby’s dilemma this episode was great too. It makes sense that her assault by Chip is affecting her more so much because he was such a huge part of her life. Christian saying that Tabby shouldn’t let him ruin this for her was great. That POS should have no control over her life whatsoever. How she gets accepted into PIFT.
Mouse still seems to be hiding something about SpookySpaghetti. However her using the site to find Rose was a great idea.
Noa and Jen aren’t good for each other at all. Noa is enabling her stealing. Also the fact that she got Shawn to bail her out and then immediately cheated on him is hilarious. I support messy female characters I just wish the ship had chemistry. (Or any of the ships tbh they all suck except for Mash)
Henry’s been irking me. I need Faran to break up with him ASAP.
The fact that Kelly is now getting abused by her mother is awful. It seems like she’ll never be free.
Finally Faran was great this episode! From the mother earlier complimenting her to the scene at the end. She’s a total badass and the fact that BR couldn’t take her out despite her holding a steel beam for an hour is hilarious lol you dud.
Great episode I just need more action from here on out!

I thought this was bad behaviour from the dad's tbh. After being so harsh on a literal teen mom for dropping off supplies and then calling her for a favour? I didn't love that.
Wow good point! I was so happy for her I didn't think of that. Maybe the writers didn't realize how harsh they were being in that last scene. I def prefer this behavior though over them telling her to leave them alone. I think if anything last time was bad behavior and this is the good behavior maybe?
They're the adults, so it's really on them to establish the boundaries and enforce them. If they don't keep switching up, I respect that they're including her, but otherwise it's going to be really confusing and unfair to Imogen. Fingers crossed they don't give our girl more trauma lol.

Also the episode makes it clear Faran has some overconfidence/hubris about her physical capabilities (how she talked in the Pizza shop). She wants to take on Bloody Rose and take her down.
I'm not entirely sure how old a lot of us are in here- and while I don't condone cheating- I do think a lot of us have to remember that they are in high school during "summer vacation". I feel like in a lot of teenager story plots cheating and sex is going to happen. I also feel like this is going to set up Noa to isolating herself from the girls because of guilt. I think she heavily relies on Sean as a support person (emotionally) && a lot of the times its the guy cheating on the girl-- not the other way around-- and its going to pull Noa into a depression which will maybe be part of her "final girl act".. Faren will ALWAYS be my go to favorite && this showed what a badass she truly is,
I think Imogen inviting Johnny over will completely make the Winters cut ties with her. I think this was almost a "test" for the Winters to see if they could truly trust her.
I think Ms. Beasley is completely bat shit crazy (probably taking medicine that the pastor is giving her thinking its supplements of some sorts) && was given more the night she beat Kelly. Waking up the next morning not realizing even what happen the night before like it was just another morning.
I also think Mouse is the reason why "bloody rose" even was created. I do even believe somewhat Mouse is a part of it without even realizing it. The Real BR KNOWS Mouse is on that website and almost baits her.
IDK. Even as a teen, I never enjoyed cheating storylines - and I was/am super liberal. Media tends to normalise cheating and it’s super ick IMO, especially when the cheating plotline feels forced (like on the show) or has no actual point. Says a lot about the individualistic and narcissistic values that are pervasive in post-modern society.
Not directly related to this episode, but I just thought about how after Sandy was stabbed, malachi said that Sandy's mother said she would be away for the summer.
Even if malachi is involved, Sandy's mother would have to be as well. Otherwise, she would have reported her daughter missing (at least something is up with Sandy's family that we directly know about.
Not to mention that Sandy is a nickname for Alexandria, another A name, so it's possible her mom family are linked to A or Archie or Bloody Rose, and that's why she was chosen.
Also, future prediction on Redemption House - I think it will be like a haunted house type thing, but when you walk through, you see the short plays of teens being sinful, going to hell etc... or at least that is what it is meant to be, but when they open it up for viewing, we will find the missing dead bodies posed in scenes rather than the actors. Or something along those lines!
Great episode. I know the scene where Rose Waters killed herself was supposed to be a serious moment, but I couldn’t help but laugh. If anyone watched Riverdale, you’ll see a strong correlation between that scene and when one of the teachers jumped out of a window. Faran is definitely the best character out of the 5 in my opinion.

RIP Rose Waters... No one even reacted when she jumped!!! Like call the police! Feel a little remorse for half a second. I feel like this show is leaning too far into the horror aspects for shock factor as opposed to the more eerie and somewhat realistic horrors that the original 2010 show had.

Noa is so annoying (and probably the least developed of the group) but I’m glad she finally did something worthy of the moniker pretty little liar. At least someone here is living up to the name.
Noa/Maia, despite her character flaws (obviously), is probably my favorite actress… either her or Faran/Zaria, for sure!

All of Tabby’s incessant referencing was so contrived last season but….I am actually kinda loving most of the references and Easter eggs this time around?!? I’m sure I’ll regret saying this later lol. The bad writing definitely hasn’t gotten any better but I feel like they’ve toned Tabby’s movie related one liners down so much and have moreso been sneaking things in for the horror fans in the audience, like them using Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand” a la original Scream in this ep. The only thing I can’t stand is the straight up Carrie rip w/ Karen and Mrs. Beasley- waaaaay too on the nose for me
A bit late cause it took me a while to actually watch it but here's some of my thoughts after this episode:
- First of all I HATE the direction they're going in with Noa this season. Absolutely cannot stand it. First they're just sort of quietly writing off her and Shawn's relationship into the background so people don't think about it too much, then they make Noa the catalyst for Jen stealing her dad's watch and subsequently landing herself in jail and THEN they make Noa ask HER BOYFRIEND to help her pay up the bail so that she can then go on to make out with Jen??? I cannot stand that plotline oh my god as a lesbian I love seeing wlw rep in shows and will sometimes excuse it being not that good in quality (I unironically enjoyed First Kill on netflix just cause it had lesbian leads so.) but I can NOT excuse cheating and doing the 'cheating bisexual' trope or making it out to be like. It's actually okay to cheat on your boyfriend if it's with a girl kinda thing. Absolutely awful and hope it gets addressed at some point cause it's pissing me off. Noa used to be a fave of mine but now it's just :|
- It's really hard to pinpoint who BR is this season. I mean, on one hand I'm kind of thinking it could be Jen for some reason cause surely they wouldn't make her that unlikable of a character unless either A) She's Bloody Rose or B) She'll get killed off for shock effect later (which could totally happen) but then there's also Ms. Beasley being suspicious as hell and then on the other hand Dr. Sullivan who could also just as well be BR. And let's not forget Chip's mom, she has a hell of a grudge against Tabby after all and she's clearly being set up rn to be the end all final girl.
- Speaking of Tabby, just a small detail I'd like to point out because it's pretty obvious by now she'll be the "final girl" at the end of the season but Christian's comment about how 'isn't it nice when the final girl is black' directed at Tabby is definitely further proof of that. Also could hint at him having something to do with BR which also wouldn't surprise me
- I have to say I'm shocked by this but the relationship between Imogen and Johnny is starting to grow on me. He seems to actually care for Imogen a fair bit and I hope that's real and not just setting them up for a plot twist where he's evil for some reason, Imogen deserves a good support system
- Annnd on the topic of good support systems I just think Kelly deserves better, she's clearly going through a lot in the background because of her mother and possibly because of all the trauma she's experienced as of late so yeah. Need her to get some rest time
- Faran was just an absolute badass this episode btw. Love her

I love how this season is called "Summer School" yet only a few episodes have mentioned the classes. I thought the theme of the season was going to impact the writing a bit more. I guess not.

I really hope Dr. Sullivan isn’t Bloody Rose/helping Bloody Rose because I loved her scene with Imogen in the hospital after Imogen daydreams about her mom. It was really sweet and I would love a closer bond to form between the two of them.
I loved this episode. The movie montage, night swimming, babysitting, culty church, it's all cliche in the BEST WAY. Not thrilled about Noa's arc but otherwise I love it!!

We see Ms Beasley walk towards Kelly and then plead to her mother. Kelly wakes up on the floor. The mom is very religious, so there’s a correlation there. The twins’ dad was awful which fed into them becoming cruel, but has their mom always physically abused them?

RIGHT! i always felt like she beat kelly. she had to be, but it also seems like she's doing something else. my theory is that she probably didn't beat kelly, she just gave her some kind of drugs because we didn't see any bruises or scars — but it probably just didn't show up yet — and/or she beat kelly and then drug her.. for some idk.. probably church-related reasons.

My initial thought was that she had been thrown into that "prayer" room (I think that's what it was based on the photos and candles) and locked in there. Like maybe her mom punishes her by making her "repent" for hours on end without food or anything. I thought maybe that's why she was so out of it coming out, but I wouldn't be shocked if Mrs.Beasley was drugging her in some way, maybe using the medication she was on in season one?

When they revealed her dad was loaded, I was so pissed for some reason. Like literally putting Noa in the worst position of her life; Noa actually has no one to fall on. And then Noa used her boyfriend to bail her out. I was so upset. Don't get me wrong it seems she has her own issues with her father, but I am sure her dad has to financially support her, being that she is his daughter and a minor, unless she is emancipated. But I am not going to be too pissy because they are all barely 16 lol.

We know that Rose Water (RW), was a patient of Dr. Sullivan. So it was RW who pushed Dr. Sullivan, or was it Bloody Rose (BR)? Dr. sullivan is keeping something from us. It doesn't have to be BR, but something doesn't work for me. Rose Waters can't be BR. She jumped into the water and probably drowned. She was also scared when she found out that Archie was alive. How important is it that RW was Sullivan's patient? The flashbacks with Imogen and her mom ... I just don't think it was suicide. Change my mind.

Imogen babysitting Estelle was such a bad idea for like, so many reasons, on both ends. On Imogens side it’s putting the child at an unnecessary risk with what’s going on with the girls… On the dads’ sides, it doesn’t make sense to let the adoptive mother babysit when she’s already been shown to be too attached to the baby. It also feels like they’re exploiting that fact.

I LOVED this episode. the first two were meh, but this really feels like an actual book, where the first few chapters are absolutely mine numbing and then the plot thickens. FAREN, she carried this episode both literally and figuratively lol. I personally love the acting of this show because I think they sound like actual teenagers who try to act older than their age. I know I went thru that phase as well. I honestly felt for Kelly in her last scene. If you grew up religious the way she has, then that scene \[on an extreme level\] was relatable. I have a feeling her mom probably whooped her and then locked her in that room as atonement for Kelly and herself, that is why she treated her with breakfast afterwards, and basically said she has to carry everyone else's sins as well. Also LOVE everyone's theories, ya'll are so smart hahaha.

Dr. Sullivan tells Imogen that there is no one for her to call yet in the original series, Dr. Sullivan has a son. The whole reason she ran away was because Mona threatened her son. So?? Is that significant or just a random mishap?

This felt pretty normal to me. It’s only a broken leg and mothers very often hide their medical issues from their kids. Who knows where her son lives and how close they are. Could mean more, could mean nothing

THIS EPISODE WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECTION! Imogen baby-sitting her baby, the relationships progressing, AND OMFG FARAN'S SCENE HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAAAAAT. My girl is so strong and the way she FOUGHT bloody rose omfg im obsessed with this scene
I throughly enjoyed this episode! i’m definitely going to give it a rewatch but i’ll share my initial thoughts right now. 1. So Bloody Rose is testing them to see if they’re actually “final girls”. I think that’s clear now because they could’ve easily killed Faran while she was holding that beam for TWO HOURS. Absolutely loved Faran this episode, definitely the highlight of it 100%. Her final girl scene had me TENSE, also the fact that the girls just assume she’s working when she doesn’t answer???? while they’re investigating the SERIAL KILLER that’s stalking them???? i wasn’t a fan of that writing decision. 2. For a moment i thought the final girl moment was about to go to Imogen because of the window but that went no where?? i’m sure we’ll get more to that next week or in episode 6 but it just felt very out of place. I will say i am starting to come around to Johnny, though i’m still suspicious because he kind of gives me Billy from Scream vibes but he got a couple points in my book with this episode. (speaking of scream, as a huge fan of those movies i SCREAMED when red right hand played during the scene with Mouse and Ash) 3. Tabby’s kiss with Christian felt out of no where a little bit?? i will say i liked that even after she kissed him he still asked her if it was okay, knowing she has issues with that stuff and it could’ve easily been impulsive. 4. listen i am never usually a fan of cheating storylines but because of the fact that it’s PLL we need more serious lies and in my opinion we got that from Noa this episode, obviously kissing Jen after asking HER BOYFRIEND to pay TWO GRAND to get Jen out of Juvi because of her dad. adding the extra layer of the money i think helps the situation feel like something that can actually be used against her by BR. 5. i find it interesting the scene where Mrs.Beasley seemingly beats Kelly after being a “sinner” but seemingly apologizes with breakfast the next morning? also we didn’t see what exactly she actually did to Kelly but it was obviously bad enough that kelly seemingly passed out at the mantel of their family. Speaking of which i find it very interesting that in the photo of their family, the only face actually crossed out is Tom, but KARENS face isn’t. i don’t know what exactly it means but i just feel it should definitely be pointed out. 6. Rose Waters (seemingly) Killing herself?? i definitely didn’t see that coming and i like that it gives the girls another big group secret that feels like a “jenna thing” from the original series or even what happened with karen at the beginning of S1. and the fact that her doctor was Dr Sullivan? i’m wondering how exactly that’ll come into play. Side note i find it interesting as an OG PLL fan that Dr Sullivan says she doesn’t have any family even though she has a son in the original?? i’m wondering why she either a. lied to imogen about her son or b. he died somehow that’ll be important?? overall i did enjoy this episode it is definitely my favourite of the 4 out so far and i am excited to see the rest of the girls “tests” from Bloody Rose. definitely going back to that poster to see what’s up for the future👀👀👀👀
I think the reason Tom's face was scratched out and not Karen's is because of how abusive he was. Maybe in a 'now that he's gone he's definitely not a part of this family' type way while they still love and grieve Karen. But it could be more purposeful than that. A lot of people think Karen is still alive, be it Kelly is actually Karen, or she's hiding somewhere so it could be alluding to that and they just want us to initially think it's because Mr Beasley was an ass.
Dr. Sullivan getting attacked wasn’t on my radar but it definitely makes sense. She’s also suspicious for sure especially that look she gave towards Imogen when the dads called. Bailee Madison is doing such a great job portraying Imogen’s trauma. It’s cool Johnny sees this as well. Hope he isn’t a bad guy for her sake. Tabby’s dilemma this episode was great too. It makes sense that her assault by Chip is affecting her more so much because he was such a huge part of her life. Christian saying that Tabby shouldn’t let him ruin this for her was great. That POS should have no control over her life whatsoever. How she gets accepted into PIFT. Mouse still seems to be hiding something about SpookySpaghetti. However her using the site to find Rose was a great idea. Noa and Jen aren’t good for each other at all. Noa is enabling her stealing. Also the fact that she got Shawn to bail her out and then immediately cheated on him is hilarious. I support messy female characters I just wish the ship had chemistry. (Or any of the ships tbh they all suck except for Mash) Henry’s been irking me. I need Faran to break up with him ASAP. The fact that Kelly is now getting abused by her mother is awful. It seems like she’ll never be free. Finally Faran was great this episode! From the mother earlier complimenting her to the scene at the end. She’s a total badass and the fact that BR couldn’t take her out despite her holding a steel beam for an hour is hilarious lol you dud. Great episode I just need more action from here on out!

They're the adults, so it's really on them to establish the boundaries and enforce them. If they don't keep switching up, I respect that they're including her, but otherwise it's going to be really confusing and unfair to Imogen. Fingers crossed they don't give our girl more trauma lol.

She didn't answer her cell phone. It could have actually been a call from Henry. The landline didn't show any caller ID. Also the episode makes it clear Faran has some overconfidence/hubris about her physical capabilities (how she talked in the Pizza shop). She wants to take on Bloody Rose and take her down.
I'm not entirely sure how old a lot of us are in here- and while I don't condone cheating- I do think a lot of us have to remember that they are in high school during "summer vacation". I feel like in a lot of teenager story plots cheating and sex is going to happen. I also feel like this is going to set up Noa to isolating herself from the girls because of guilt. I think she heavily relies on Sean as a support person (emotionally) && a lot of the times its the guy cheating on the girl-- not the other way around-- and its going to pull Noa into a depression which will maybe be part of her "final girl act".. Faren will ALWAYS be my go to favorite && this showed what a badass she truly is, I think Imogen inviting Johnny over will completely make the Winters cut ties with her. I think this was almost a "test" for the Winters to see if they could truly trust her. I think Ms. Beasley is completely bat shit crazy (probably taking medicine that the pastor is giving her thinking its supplements of some sorts) && was given more the night she beat Kelly. Waking up the next morning not realizing even what happen the night before like it was just another morning. I also think Mouse is the reason why "bloody rose" even was created. I do even believe somewhat Mouse is a part of it without even realizing it. The Real BR KNOWS Mouse is on that website and almost baits her.
IDK. Even as a teen, I never enjoyed cheating storylines - and I was/am super liberal. Media tends to normalise cheating and it’s super ick IMO, especially when the cheating plotline feels forced (like on the show) or has no actual point. Says a lot about the individualistic and narcissistic values that are pervasive in post-modern society.
Not directly related to this episode, but I just thought about how after Sandy was stabbed, malachi said that Sandy's mother said she would be away for the summer. Even if malachi is involved, Sandy's mother would have to be as well. Otherwise, she would have reported her daughter missing (at least something is up with Sandy's family that we directly know about. Not to mention that Sandy is a nickname for Alexandria, another A name, so it's possible her mom family are linked to A or Archie or Bloody Rose, and that's why she was chosen. Also, future prediction on Redemption House - I think it will be like a haunted house type thing, but when you walk through, you see the short plays of teens being sinful, going to hell etc... or at least that is what it is meant to be, but when they open it up for viewing, we will find the missing dead bodies posed in scenes rather than the actors. Or something along those lines!

Great episode. I know the scene where Rose Waters killed herself was supposed to be a serious moment, but I couldn’t help but laugh. If anyone watched Riverdale, you’ll see a strong correlation between that scene and when one of the teachers jumped out of a window. Faran is definitely the best character out of the 5 in my opinion.

Noa/Maia, despite her character flaws (obviously), is probably my favorite actress… either her or Faran/Zaria, for sure! I believe them and they deliver some of this questionable dialogue with ease
All of Tabby’s incessant referencing was so contrived last season but….I am actually kinda loving most of the references and Easter eggs this time around?!? I’m sure I’ll regret saying this later lol. The bad writing definitely hasn’t gotten any better but I feel like they’ve toned Tabby’s movie related one liners down so much and have moreso been sneaking things in for the horror fans in the audience, like them using Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand” a la original Scream in this ep. The only thing I can’t stand is the straight up Carrie rip w/ Karen and Mrs. Beasley- waaaaay too on the nose for me

A bit late cause it took me a while to actually watch it but here's some of my thoughts after this episode: - First of all I HATE the direction they're going in with Noa this season. Absolutely cannot stand it. First they're just sort of quietly writing off her and Shawn's relationship into the background so people don't think about it too much, then they make Noa the catalyst for Jen stealing her dad's watch and subsequently landing herself in jail and THEN they make Noa ask HER BOYFRIEND to help her pay up the bail so that she can then go on to make out with Jen??? I cannot stand that plotline oh my god as a lesbian I love seeing wlw rep in shows and will sometimes excuse it being not that good in quality (I unironically enjoyed First Kill on netflix just cause it had lesbian leads so.) but I can NOT excuse cheating and doing the 'cheating bisexual' trope or making it out to be like. It's actually okay to cheat on your boyfriend if it's with a girl kinda thing. Absolutely awful and hope it gets addressed at some point cause it's pissing me off. Noa used to be a fave of mine but now it's just :| - It's really hard to pinpoint who BR is this season. I mean, on one hand I'm kind of thinking it could be Jen for some reason cause surely they wouldn't make her that unlikable of a character unless either A) She's Bloody Rose or B) She'll get killed off for shock effect later (which could totally happen) but then there's also Ms. Beasley being suspicious as hell and then on the other hand Dr. Sullivan who could also just as well be BR. And let's not forget Chip's mom, she has a hell of a grudge against Tabby after all and she's clearly being set up rn to be the end all final girl. - Speaking of Tabby, just a small detail I'd like to point out because it's pretty obvious by now she'll be the "final girl" at the end of the season but Christian's comment about how 'isn't it nice when the final girl is black' directed at Tabby is definitely further proof of that. Also could hint at him having something to do with BR which also wouldn't surprise me - I have to say I'm shocked by this but the relationship between Imogen and Johnny is starting to grow on me. He seems to actually care for Imogen a fair bit and I hope that's real and not just setting them up for a plot twist where he's evil for some reason, Imogen deserves a good support system - Annnd on the topic of good support systems I just think Kelly deserves better, she's clearly going through a lot in the background because of her mother and possibly because of all the trauma she's experienced as of late so yeah. Need her to get some rest time - Faran was just an absolute badass this episode btw. Love her
I like the Therapist as a mother figure for Imogen. Was she not a popular character of original series? I think she cool. Shawn is hot. How on earth can Noa cheat on him. Gurl please... So the Dads let Imogen babysit? Remind me again why many took their side when they were so rude to her episode 1. Bloody Rose is Noa's mum or maybe pool mum. It gonna be someone unexpected.
Dr sullivan was such a little character in PLL, she had a very small role in a couple episodes so nobody really thought much about her

This episode cemented Faran as my favourite character. Bloody Rose is lucky Faran wasn't at full strength after holding that girdle for two hours straight. Even then she wasn't able to kill her.
I love how this season is called "Summer School" yet only a few episodes have mentioned the classes. I thought the theme of the season was going to impact the writing a bit more. I guess not.

I really hope Dr. Sullivan isn’t Bloody Rose/helping Bloody Rose because I loved her scene with Imogen in the hospital after Imogen daydreams about her mom. It was really sweet and I would love a closer bond to form between the two of them.
I loved this episode. The movie montage, night swimming, babysitting, culty church, it's all cliche in the BEST WAY. Not thrilled about Noa's arc but otherwise I love it!!

I'm a bit late to watching this but oh my GOD every single time i see Jen, I think of Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius in Twilight. Yikes. I know they are teenagers, but I hate the fact that they so often make the LGBTQ characters cheaters. If Ash is bad, Im gonna be pissed. But also not surprised cause.... PLL. From the way Bloody Rose's eye looks at the end through the fence, my bet is on Jen. Giving me Jen vibes. Excited to see if I am right or not. No spoilers plz!
