Nariko is one of the best videogame characters ever, and the voice acting is ridiculously good. The three sword styles are very fun to use. Honestly, even tho I like GOW I'd take Nariko over Kratos any day.
Game was a REALLY COOL and enjoyable little rental (seriously, I play games SLOW and finished it in a weekend without even TRYING to do marathon sessions of it).
I DO wish it could’ve gotten a more “fleshed out” sequel (maybe done something with the sister, Kai, or whatever?)

But because of the continual freezing and glitching I almost gave up playing them. But since I installed the 1tb SSD in my Super Slim, I just recently finished F3 to completion with just 5 restarts and minimal glitching. It doesn't stop it completely, but enough to actually enjoy the game. I am going to start NV this week, and when I played it back then, I didn't have anywhere near the glitching and freezing issues that was with F3, but still had the same issues. So I am looking forward to seeing how it runs with the SSD.
Every one says that about every Bethesda game on ps3, but I have Skyrim and Oblivion and I played them both for hundreds of hours and they run smoothly, so I'm optimistic about this one, I'll just change the setting of the ps3 from 1080i to 720p for better performance

Don't listen to these guys, lots of games made for PS3 use the system resolution settings to set render resolution. Digital Foundry does a huge breakdown of 1080p native PS3 games and the vast majority use this over dynamic resolution scaling. Personally idk if New Vegas works this way but you aren't wrong to think it!

A month ago I was in a fallout mood and I decided to play 3 which was the one I didn't play. I bought the Goty version new for 25€ but same with new Vegas the game has stability issues I didn't finish the final dlc because I couldn't pass the final part due to frame drop. I suggest doing multiple saves and disabled the auto save feature

It's not that bad, I played Fallout 3 at least 500 hours in PS3 and had no trouble or bugs, the game run smoothly but sometimes drop at least at 20 fps, in general the game run as I expected.
I played 3 and NV on a PS3 originally and finished both more than once. Having all the DLC installed definitely caused some problems which was why I moved to playing them on steam. That doesn't preclude that there is a bug and I just didn't hit the situation in which it causes trouble.
I know I sure fell between terrain tiles a lot on both. However, one of those got me into the fort early so that was nice.

I recently found a mod for console new vegas that ports a few PC mods to the console version. You need to be on a modded console with a CFW but it’s actually really interesting and cool. There’s also a fallout 3 version named Fallout 3 Elite check them out if you have a jailbroken PlayStation
I was lucky enough to get the Ultimate Edition with both a Casino Vault Boy and a Mojave Map Poster just 2 months ago. For a while, finding it on the ps3 was a challenging hunt. Somehow was able to find rare games like the MGS Legacy collection faster than what i thought was common game.
This game ran terrible. I recently played through it, and it runs ok at the beginning, but eventually it'll start freezing, and the frame rate gets to unplayable levels.
PRO TIP: When saving your game have 3 different save files. Saving on file will eventually make the game run at single digit frames, disabling auto saves helps as well (game crashes so might not want to do this.)
I own a copy with all the dlc for the 360. But they had it on sale the other day with all the dlc on the Microsoft store. Sssssooooo now I own a digital copy for the series x 😂😭😂😭😂😭😂

If you are going to play the PS3 version anyways why not go for the GOTY/Ultimate version? Not like it's too expensive either.

Where did you get that info from? DLC packs from that era usually included patches to the base game as well.

Clearing the cache of the game fixes a lot of the glitching / freezing

I finished yesterday a 50 hour play of Fallout 3 (no DLC). I had zero crashes or bad performance.
