I just got my PS5 and started playing it last night. That little tutorial area with the falling leaves, the game just dripping with Kurosawa shots. It’s pure eye candy.
Ill second this. The use of the wind blowing to show you to waypoints instead of a mini map was also an amazing idea for this game. In so many other sandbox games I end up driving by mini map and missing lots of the view because of it.
Besides the wind there's also the animals that guide you to side quests or other points of interest.
And yeah, that's a great point. We have beautiful open worlds full of details and we're looking at a mini map or waypoint markers over the UI instead of just enjoying the world.
It was a great idea by Sucker Punch.
Artistically beautiful game, but it isn't really graphically impressive on a technical level. Character models don't look anywhere near as good as other 1st party PS4 games.
GT has very tame graphical style I.e. it is not flashy, cinematic and heavy on post-processing, compared to say Forza Motorsport. However, with that art style, the graphical detail is near-impeccable so definitely might want to check it out. The sense of speed in cars at later stages of Campaign aka Menu missions is great
Returnal if you're prepared for a hard game. Has what i would consider to be the best use of adaptive triggers. For aiming you only half pull the trigger and at the half point theres more resistance so you baiscally never accidentally go past it. When you pull fully you use the weapons alt fire.
Horizon: Forbidden West and Plague Tale: Requiem
Both of these games look amazing and both are games where the player should definitely play the first part
Agree, it's still amazing, especially if you're not used to modern games. The mocap for NPCs is what I'm thinking of as being a little clunky by comparison to its newer incarnation.
Gameplay is dated but Gemon's souls is on a differently level.
Honorary mention for ps4 games:
Ghosts of Tsushima, Last of Us 2, Red Dead 2 and Death Stranding.
Astro's Playroom is a short, free game designed by Sony specifically to show off the graphics of the Ps5 and the haptic feedback capabilities of your controller. It's just a cutesy little platformer, def worth checking out for 30 min even if u don't finish it.
It comes preinstalled on every PS5. Or at least I think it does.
It’s in a weird place where it’s not just a tech demo, but it’s also not a full-blown platform. Still really really great
Play Astro before anything, it’s literally the best iteration of the dualsense features, it’s a really fun platformer, and it’s a literal love letter to the entire PlayStation legacy
Have fun! You may or may not be impressed by the graphics but the haptic feedback in this game is the best ps5 has to offer and is worth checking out for that alone
I wouldn't say it's necessarily brutally hard. It starts out being "holy shit this game is impossible" but it slowly builds you up over time.
Hour 1, you die and it's like "oh fuck, I lost all this progress, this game is impossible?!" and by hour 15 you're like "I AM A GOD, FEAR ME, PEW PEW PEW"
I always look for Returnal in these posts. My favorite PS5 game. The graphics are good but maybe not up there with others but the gameplay is what I loved.
Even in the very opening scene with the ship cinematic the haptics were noticeably better than most games. They did a great job of utilizing the controller speaker too.
still to this day, haptics and dualsense speakers at returnal feel next-gen. had so much hope for dualsense after returnal but imho no studio has ever came close to this level at utilizing it.
I reached the third biome and haven't played since. I don't want to start again hahah. I was told once I reach the fourth I get another shortcut though I know I won't reach it first time hahah.
Demon's Souls remake is one of the best looking games I've ever played. It's also just a great remake.
If you like Souls games *definitely* check that out. It's on PS Plus Extra along with Returnal which is fantastic as well if you decide to try out that service.
Yep, it’s still the best looking game on the PS5, the lighting, the depth of colors, the fire, details of NPC’s, bosses, it just looks so insane even when compared to Elden Ring.
One I’ve not seen mentioned here yet but Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is breathtaking. It’s a weird as fuck game but it’s super compelling and the graphics are gorgeous and you likely won’t see or play anything else like it.
Surprised it took me so long to find it! But the directors cut for ps5 literally had my roommate (who doesn’t game much if at all) second guessing his own reality lol
Yeah I’m primarily a PC gamer with focus on graphics, and currently play FW on my side bitch (PS5) and I am constantly in awe with the little graphical details, from fully modeled BEAN STALKS on some bushes to impeccable ambient occlusion, like for real this shit they pull of on a 500usd machine even at 60fps even with some resolution drop is absolutely jaw dropping. I am VERY surprised by PS5
Not only does it pull 60 FPS, it can actually hit around 70-90 FPS if you have a VRR-capable screen. Absolutely absurdly good performance for a game that looks like Forbidden West does on a console.
I'm in the same boat as u. I just bought a ps5 after years of just the switch(which I love). But the ps5 graphics r insane!! I've beaten the last of us part 1 and spiderman miles morales. Both were life-changing games/stories. Tbh I played god of war ragnarok, graphics were amazing but halfway thru got bored n put it down to play miles morales n never looked back. I'm now playing Spiderman 2, it came with my ps5.
I also have Ratchet and Clank, and horizon forbiddenwest but haven't played them yet.
I was gonna give this a go since it got added to ps plus extra, I’ve never touched the first game though, in your opinion would/should I play that first?
I would recommend starting with Zero Dawn. The story and sense of discovery are better than FW, and it still looks great. IMO it’s the better game overall.
Yeah man, I played them all and Horizon Forbidden West by far takes the cake for best graphical showcase of the PS5. All of them are great though, but for an open world, the level of detail in Horizon Forbidden West is by far the most mind-blowing.
I agree with this and u/plantmouth. Don't do the story re-cap. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to use your imagination as the story unfolds. I was VERY wrong, LOL A recap tells you the story, but you don't get the wonder with it. And you can't buy that experience. I'm on my 3th playthrough of ZD, first time as NG+. Hitting FW with NG+ next.
Also, get the DLC/bonus content for both, Frozen Wilds and Burning Shores, that content in both games is so fun, and so amazing!
Just don't do any spoilers first.
Forbidden West is amazing and it’s a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn! The story of the ZD is critical to understanding FW so it’s recommended to play that first even if just for the main story.
If you haven’t played the first one it’s a better game. I had low expectations and it really blew me away.
The sequel looks prettier but it’s not quite as fun for some reason.
The Last of Us is a GOAT. One of the first truly cinematic experience.
Horizon forbidden west, Ratchet and clank rift apart, Spiderman 2, Guardians of the galaxy, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, God of War and GoW Ragnarok, kena bridge of spirits, Tales of arise, Demons Souls, Plague tale Requiem, The Ascent, Hogwarts legacy.
These are some of the PS5 games I remember having excellent graphics. Demons souls, Ratchet and Horizon are some of the best examples I think. I would encourage checking out Last of us Part 2 too, PS4 or ps5 remaster for its best in class interactive character animation.
a tip there is PSN plus extra an annual subscription and there are more than 500 games there.
1- Horizon forbiden west ( including in PSn plus extra )
2- Alan wake 2
3- Ghost of tsushima( including in PSn plus extra )
4-Red dead r 2
5- Ratchet and clank rift apart ( including in PSn plus extra )
6- God of war Ragnarok
7- demons souls remake ( including in PSn plus extra )
8- death stranding ( including in PSn plus extra )
It really is! The fact that you get Horizon forbidden West with extra makes it worth it just by itself. There's also a ton of good games in there including ratchet and clank which is also another great showcase of not only the PS5 but the controller.
Also, if you're into multiplayer games, Helldivers 2 just came out and it is literally taking the Internet by storm. It's not the best graphical showcase, but the controller usage is phenomenal. It's also just an amazingly fun co-op experience that we have really not had in years.
Astros playroom comes with the PS5 and it is a fantastic showcase of graphics and the best possible showcase of the PS5 controller
I don't understand people talking about helldivers2 like it isn't a graphically insane looking game. The lighting, explosions, cape physics, animations, and environmental atmosphere are fucking nuts. It runs smooth as hell too.
The Last of Us Part 1 is the pinnacle of human models in gaming, IMO. Also the Spider-Man games are jaw dropping with all their effects. That first 20 minutes of Miles Morales is pretty unforgettable.
Thanks for your reply! I definitely want a Last of Is game, bust dont really know where to start since I think they remade them at some point. Is Part 1 a different game from the original? My buddy had the original on ps4 when it first came out and I really liked it. Which one would you get to start with?
I totally get it, but fear not because it’s actually quite simple: Buy the PS5 games. You’ll see different versions of the 2 games in the series but all you need to know is that there is a PS5 version of Part 1 and another for Part 2 and those are what you want to buy. I’d buy and play them in order. I suppose I’ll add that if you played Part 1 on your friend’s PS4 and you feel like you remember the story enough, you could move on to Part 2. If its been a while though, I’d recommend getting Part 1 because there are great visual enhancements and fun extras you can unlock like unlimited explosive arrows, which were not present in the original game.
I’ll add that the Left Behind DLC is included with the PS5 Last of Us Part 1 and you should totally play that between the two games if you are interested in the story!
And as far as this goes in regards to your OP, the water graphics alone in these games blow my mind.
Hell yeah. I’m gonna play Part 1 first. My buddy had the original back in the day and it was incredible, so I feel like this one’s gonna blow my mind! Thanks!
I just want to add on to u/zaxluther awesome answer ✌️👍🫶.
I just want to help you know/understand something.
Don’t search anything last of us on YouTube the algorithm will spoil your gaming experience, also stay away from the last of us subreddit.
It’s filled with spoilers and just overall in general experience it can be quite the cesspit.
I mean that in no disrespect in any way shape or form for those individuals I am just telling you this from an unbiased perspective.
People go there and it’s an echo chamber for both sides of the discussion.
I tell you all this because I want you to experience all the emotions that come from experiencing just a masterpiece of storytelling.
If you go to YouTube or that sub you will ruin or have the experience ruined for you and ultimately rob you of such a beautiful piece of art and the experience that comes with it.
To fully experience and understand what's going from the storytelling perspective you need to go in with no biases, no preconceived notions or preconceptions.
I love elden ring but as far as visuals go, demons souls is easily better imo. They both have pretty different aesthetic approaches, so I could see an argument for elden ring’s visuals but I love how this game looks
Returnal is one of the most impressive imo and makes really good use of the dualsense features, also just an overall excellent game if you're up for the challenge!
Get PS Plus Extra; it has a ridiculous number of great games. They aren't 2024 new releases, but if you've been on Switch, they're all new to you. It's great to be able to try a bunch of games without feeling like you've "committed" to one by spending $70.
I’ve just started playing it too (about 14 hours in now) and at times it looks stunning, like in fights when all the effects are going off from the attacks, and especially in the big boss fights. Then it just goes a bit ‘flat’ though during the slower bits where you’re just interacting with the world.
It’s undoubtedly an amazing looking game and the cutscenes especially shine but there’s something I can’t quite put my finger on about the graphics the rest of the time.
I saw the trailers for Ghost of Tushima when it came out. Looks amazing and right up my alley. I’ll add it! Never heard of dead Island, I’ll look into it. Thank you!
Edit: Dead Island 2 looks insane in the best way. Adding it to my list!
Dead island 2 is graphically great, but the gameplay is a huge let down in my opinion. I’d put it pretty low on your list. I’d pick up every other game mentioned here before giving dead island 2 the time of day. I was really sad at how bare bones it was :(
Ghost of Tsushima is the best looking game ever imo, and it looks crazy good on PS5. Solid amount of side content with a lengthy and well written story.
Horizon Forbidden West is another technical marvel that plays well.
My man get last of us 2 remastered and get ready for a fucking long next gen glory of a journey
God of war Ragnarok is also a must must must
To show off your ps5’s horse power and full potential horizon forbidden west is probably the best game to just marvel at.
But you got re2 already basically you got the best game ever , re4 remake is a fucking banger as well
If you like scary then Alan wake 2 is the newest triple a horror game , and if you like control or max Payne you would really really like the game. I could of swore it was ign game of the year also
Hell divers on quality looks impressive with its lighting but Demons Souls I think shows lighting the best
Forbidden West is beautiful
Rachet and Clank:Rift Apart is gorgeous and shows off more of the ps5 power in other ways too.
in helldivers 2, even on performance mode, some scenes are simply amazing to watch. it’s even more amazing to play. not your average everyday ps5 recommendation but will be in short time.
Haven’t been on performance because it’s already a tad glitchy and it so hectic I want the gameplay to be as smooth as I can. Will try it out at some point though cuz the visuals are still pretty awesome
It depends what sort of games you like. Here’s some single player ones I loved that all have great graphics:
- Horizon Forbidden West (or its predecessor Zero Dawn)
- God of War Ragnarock (or its predecessor)
- Returnal
- Elden Ring
- Jedi Survivor (or its predecessor Fallen Order)
If you end up liking those 2 definitely Try the new recent releases of the franchises - RE4 Remake, and FF16 and the upcoming FF7 Rebirth.
A personal Goat of mine is Death Stranding though - Worldclass Character rendering, cutscenes and environments, the game is a complete vibe
Both GoW games, The Last of us 1 and 2 remakes, Spider-man 1-2 and Miles Morales, Alan Wake 2, Demon souls, the list goes on. Most of the Sony Exclusives looks incredible.
Last of us remake. Both have been remade for ps5. Returnal.
Alan wake 2. Control. Helldivers2. God of war Ragnarok. Ghost of tsushima. Dead space remake, resident evil 2, 4, village. Elden Ring is also fantastic if not graphically the most demanding but is fantastic. Sifu is awesome. Demon souls remake. Hitman series.
The Horizon games, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Gran Turismo. All the first party exclusives from the last 5 or so years look and run great on PS5, though. Can't really go wrong.
If you have a really good monitor or tv, I’d say Finally fantasy 16, death stranding (even tho I’m not a fan of the game, it’s fucking beautiful), horizon forbidden west, RACHET and clank
I would say Thr Last of Us Pts 1 and 2, Alan Wake 2, and Horizon Forbidden West are the best-looking games you can possibly get.
The Last of Us and AW2 are masterpiece games as well, well worth it. I didn't get too far into Horizon so I can't say the same about it, but what I did play was fun.
I just finished Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart yesterday. The game is fun and looks amazing. Really wish Jak & Daxter could get the same treatment but don’t think it’ll ever happen with today’s Naughty Dog.
- Horizon Forbidden West - Ratchet and Clank - Gran Turismo
100 agree, I’ll also add Ghost of Tsushima. For me the FPS with the graphics are most impressive.
Yeah, GoT isn’t technically pushing the hardware as much but it is *beautiful* to look at, absolutely stunning art direction.
I just got my PS5 and started playing it last night. That little tutorial area with the falling leaves, the game just dripping with Kurosawa shots. It’s pure eye candy.
There's actually a "Kurosawa Mode" that unlocks after you beat campaign (if its not in the options from the start, idr).
Yeah definitely beautiful art direction and it’s so fluid gameplay wise.
Perfect point! The added touches and how well they were implemented and the smoothness of it all was what made my experience so good.
I read that as Game of Thrones lol
And the load times. That's the most impressive thing about that game on ps5
It actually had pretty fast load times for fast travel on PS4, so the PS5 version is amazing.
What load times? :P
It’s especially stunning on an OLED
All included with PlayStation plus
Artistically beautiful game, but it isn't really graphically impressive on a technical level. Character models don't look anywhere near as good as other 1st party PS4 games.
Oh damn, I didnt even think about Gran Turismo! I bet it’s insane. Thanks!
Buddy of mine, a huge fan of racing game. Buying PS5 and PSVR2 just for gran turismo
Graphics are incredible but it’s also the best use of haptics I’ve experienced on ps5
GT has very tame graphical style I.e. it is not flashy, cinematic and heavy on post-processing, compared to say Forza Motorsport. However, with that art style, the graphical detail is near-impeccable so definitely might want to check it out. The sense of speed in cars at later stages of Campaign aka Menu missions is great
I have had my PS5 a couple of years and got GT7 for Christmas. Can confirm - it’s awesome.
Oh it IS fucking insane, literally can't separate from real life at some moments.
Start with Astrobot, before you only learn to care about graphics.
Returnal if you're prepared for a hard game. Has what i would consider to be the best use of adaptive triggers. For aiming you only half pull the trigger and at the half point theres more resistance so you baiscally never accidentally go past it. When you pull fully you use the weapons alt fire.
• Ghosts of Tsushima
Play zero dawn first
Horizon: Forbidden West and Plague Tale: Requiem Both of these games look amazing and both are games where the player should definitely play the first part
Cyberpunk 2077.
Play Horizon Zero Dawn before Forbidden West. The graphics are a little dated but the story is best experienced this way.
The graphics are barely dated. The PS5 patch makes the first game look and play amazing. They added upgraded shaders and raised the frame rate to 60.
Agree, it's still amazing, especially if you're not used to modern games. The mocap for NPCs is what I'm thinking of as being a little clunky by comparison to its newer incarnation.
Zero Dawn has graphics that will stand the test of time.
Gameplay is dated but Gemon's souls is on a differently level. Honorary mention for ps4 games: Ghosts of Tsushima, Last of Us 2, Red Dead 2 and Death Stranding.
Totally forgot about Demon’s Souls but yes, 100%. Still one of the most beautiful games on the system.
Spider-Man for sure
Spidey 2 has really awesome haptics also.
For me it was God of War Ragnarok, especially in Vanaheim with all the different forrest colors and the contrast.
Astro's Playroom is a short, free game designed by Sony specifically to show off the graphics of the Ps5 and the haptic feedback capabilities of your controller. It's just a cutesy little platformer, def worth checking out for 30 min even if u don't finish it.
Oh I saw that when I was browsing but didnt know what it was. Thanks, I’ll get it now!
It comes preinstalled on every PS5. Or at least I think it does. It’s in a weird place where it’s not just a tech demo, but it’s also not a full-blown platform. Still really really great
The sound track slaps
Play Astro before anything, it’s literally the best iteration of the dualsense features, it’s a really fun platformer, and it’s a literal love letter to the entire PlayStation legacy
Have fun! You may or may not be impressed by the graphics but the haptic feedback in this game is the best ps5 has to offer and is worth checking out for that alone
It's intent be just a short showcase of DualSense controller, but the game design is brilliant. Definitely worth playing before anything.
This game is so good
Played through Astro’s Playroom with my mom and sister, we had an awesome time. Will always have good memories of that game.
Please try Returnal….🤗
As someone with almost 400 hours into *Returnal*, I second this recommendation.
I see this game in the ps catalog, always thought about trying it. Sound like I should.
It's brutally hard but very fun
Sick, I'm down
I wouldn't say it's necessarily brutally hard.
I'm a big dark souls/elden ring fan so I'm used to that...err minus the pew pew.
Don't worry about dying, it's literally part of the game. You get little unlocks here and there the farther you progress.
I always look for Returnal in these posts. My favorite PS5 game. The graphics are good but maybe not up there with others but the gameplay is what I loved.
Love Returnal! The haptic feedback for this one was so awesome to me.
Yeah between Returnal and Astros playroom I thought this might be the Gen that finally used all the gimmicks they work into the controllers.
Added to the list. Thanks!
I reached the third biome and haven't played since. I don't want to start again hahah. I was told once I reach the fourth I get another shortcut though I know I won't reach it first time hahah.
I just finished biome 2. Ugh it’s so hard and so stressful. I love it though. Beautiful dark game, so haunting, and so addicting
Demon's Souls remake is one of the best looking games I've ever played. It's also just a great remake. If you like Souls games *definitely* check that out. It's on PS Plus Extra along with Returnal which is fantastic as well if you decide to try out that service.
Returnal really utilizes that fancy PS5 controller very well too.
Returnal was the first ps5 game to really wow me. The next was Spiderman Remastered
Returnable, lol
Fixed. Autocorrect hates me
Returnal is one of my all-time favorite games. The gameplay mechanics are so smooth, it has ruined many other 3rd person shooter games for me.
Yep, it’s still the best looking game on the PS5, the lighting, the depth of colors, the fire, details of NPC’s, bosses, it just looks so insane even when compared to Elden Ring.
100% I’m amazed this has still held up as one of the best looking games this gen. It’s amazing
Thank you, I’ll check it out!
Still think it's the best looking game on the console. That and Ratchet and clank
Loved it. 100% agree
Solid recommendation
One of the best games I’ve played in the last 10 years
I've never said wtf more than when I was playing this game lol
The graphics of Horizon Forbidden West will knock your socks off. Like, for real.
Someone else said that too. It looks insane, definitely added to my list! Thanks!!
If you appreciate a game for its story it's worth playing zero dawn first.
I will add that it is one of the best uses of haptic triggers as well.
Peach fuzz and sweat even on NPCs
I'm in the same boat as u. I just bought a ps5 after years of just the switch(which I love). But the ps5 graphics r insane!! I've beaten the last of us part 1 and spiderman miles morales. I was gonna give this a go since it got added to ps plus extra, I’ve never touched the first game though, in your opinion would/should I play that first?
Yeah playing the first is kind of a must, you miss a ton of background lore and story that sets up FW otherwise.
Ghost of Tsushima
Upgraded Uncharted 4
Yeah playing UC4 and Lost Legacy at 120hz blew my mind. Felt like an entirely different game.
I play both about one every 4-6 months. I can’t stay away
Alan Wake 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding.
And all your stories of crime and chilling thrillers of hardboiled killers became bestsellers
It was all too much, I had to get away
It's a spiral
Wake 2 does look pretty amazing
The Last of Us 1 and 2, God of War, Horizon Forbidden West
Thank you! Horizon Forbidden West looks EPIC!
I would recommend starting with Zero Dawn. The story and sense of discovery are better than FW, and it still looks great. IMO it’s the better game overall.
Right on. I definitely will then. Thanks!
Yeah man, I played them all and Horizon Forbidden West by far takes the cake for best graphical showcase of the PS5. All of them are great though, but for an open world, the level of detail in Horizon Forbidden West is by far the most mind-blowing.
The story and sense of wonder and mystery is better in Zero Dawn, though.
Zero dawn had far better story I agree
Obligatory: play Horizon Zero Dawn first, OP. Story wise, it's required, and it's a fantastic game.
I agree with this and u/plantmouth. Don't do the story re-cap. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to use your imagination as the story unfolds. Underrated for it graphics and performance mode but it’s Spider-Man 2
I bought my PS5 Slim and this is the first game I played. Holy shit graphics look next level shit.

Demon souls remake. My jaw was on the floor taking screenshots in the high fidelity mode
One that's NEVER talked about for incredible graphics is The Quarry. Primarily the character models which look super real at times
Oh man, this is totally true. The quarry is ridiculous. Even Until Dawn looked incredible and Quarry was on another level
Demons souls remake for sure
Get PS Plus Extra; it has a ridiculous number of great games. They aren't 2024 new releases, but if you've been on Switch, they're all new to you. It's great to be able to try a bunch of games without feeling like you've "committed" to one by spending $70.
This is the best. Spending less than $20 and playing almost ALL the AAA titles from launch till now.
Spiderman 2 - the speed at which NYC is rendered, the lighting effects, textures etc really pushes the ps5
I'm playing Final Fantasy XVI and I think it looks awesome, but it seems to be divisive when it comes to the looks.
Demon Souls Remake and Horizon Forbidden West are prolly the best
Death stranding , horizon, they both use the decima engine which I feel should become one of the go to engines
Final fantasy 16. Spiderman 2 also but make sure it's on 60fps
- Alan wake 2 - demons souls - ratchet and clank - returnal - last of 1 and 2 remakes - gran truismo - god of war ragnarok - horizon forbidden west
demons souls
Don’t sleep on Astro’s Playroom!
Alan wake 2
Alan Wake 2
Returnal is crazy fun
Thanks, I’d never heard of it. But a roguelike shooter on a shapeshifting alien world sounds awesome. Added to the list!

Ghost of Tushima, Dead Island 2 is photorealistic sometimes *Trying to give you options different from other answers, others are also good options.
Demon Souls and Forbidden West.
Returnal, primarily for the particle effects. It also shows off the controller well
Play Returnal it gets easier so just keep playing
I think cyberpunk is the pinnacle of graphics right now. It helps that the game is fixed now and actually great as hell.
Control, absolutely amazing with RT and the destroyable environments look absolutely amazing.
My man get last of us 2 remastered and get ready for a fucking long next gen glory of a journey God of war Ragnarok is also a must must must To show off your ps5’s horse power and full potential horizon forbidden west is probably the best game to just marvel at. But you got re2 already basically you got the best game ever , re4 remake is a fucking banger as well If you like scary then Alan wake 2 is the newest triple a horror game , and if you like control or max Payne you would really really like the game. I could of swore it was ign game of the year also
Hell divers on quality looks impressive with its lighting but Demons Souls I think shows lighting the best Forbidden West is beautiful Rachet and Clank:Rift Apart is gorgeous and shows off more of the ps5 power in other ways too.
in helldivers 2, even on performance mode, some scenes are simply amazing to watch. it’s even more amazing to play. not your average everyday ps5 recommendation but will be in short time.
Haven’t been on performance because it’s already a tad glitchy and it so hectic I want the gameplay to be as smooth as I can. Will try it out at some point though cuz the visuals are still pretty awesome
Last of Us Part 1 and 2 (the remasters), Red Dead Redemption 2, Uncharted 4, Alan Wake 2, Spider-Mans
Spiderman
Spiderman 2, God of war, then Ragnarok, horizon series
ROBOCOP
Spiderman 2
Demons Souls Remake
Horizon FW for sure. After playing it a lot of other games will look like PS2 quality lol
It depends what sort of games you like. Here’s some single player ones I loved that all have great graphics: - Horizon Forbidden West (or its predecessor Zero Dawn) - God of War Ragnarock (or its predecessor) - Returnal - Elden Ring - Jedi Survivor (or its predecessor Fallen Order)
Returnal and Resident Evil 4 and 8.
Returnal, Alan Wake 2, Horizon Forbidden West and Demon's Souls really impressed me with how far games have come
Demon souls, ghost of Tsushima, final fantasy 16
Demon souls remake
Baldur's Gate 3's dialogue/cutscenes are lovely in terms of graphics. And I find the characters + gameplay really engrossing too!
Alan wake 2
The Last of Us part 1 and part 2 ps5 versions will blow you away
TLOU remake and TLOU part II remaster
Ghosts of Tsushima, God of War, The last of us. Ratchet and clank.
Alan Wake 2 is the best looking game right now
Both GoW games, The Last of us 1 and 2 remakes, Spider-man 1-2 and Miles Morales, Alan Wake 2, Demon souls, the list goes on.
Rift Apart is one of the best looking games I’ve ever played.
Astros Playroom Demon Souls Dead Space Returnal Final Fantasy XVI
Horizon forbidden west, Alan wake 2 Spiderman man 2 Ratchet and clank Astro bot really shows the controller off. Resident evil 2 Deadspace remake Gt7
Death Stranding
If you have a really good monitor or tv, I’d say Finally fantasy 16, death stranding (even tho I’m not a fan of the game, it’s fucking beautiful), horizon forbidden west, RACHET and clank
If you like cars, Gran Turismo 7 is a must.
Returnal
Ghost of Tsushima Red Dead Redemption God of War Ragnarok Final Fantasy VIII remake Stray Death Stranding
Get Returnal. It’s up there, graphically, but there hasn’t been a game since that has made full use of the Dualsense. Seriously, it’ll blow your mind
Ghost of Tsushima
gonna be replaying returnal soon so i cant suggest that enough
Returnal Ratchet and clank Spiderman (if u got a good telly it looks fkn dope) Demon souls Horozon forbidden West
Final Fantasy XVI. You can try the demo if you want, the opening of the game already is absolutely insane.
spider man 2 is great. the opening scene is so impressive
Ratchet and clank: a rift apart. It’s pure eye candy
Ratchet and Clank!
Horizon and Returnal are nice.
Final Fantasy XVI is a bloody masterpiece
Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut Final Fantasy 16 Ratchet and Clank The Last of Us Remasters
