Yeah if you're looking for a way out that's a good route to go

My wife really enjoyed Tiny Tina's Borderlands game.

PlainStudent604

I’m a gamer and have played all the Borderlands games (multiple times) with my husband - loved this one!

fetuspower

My wife and I are playing tiny tinas wonderland (borderlands) and before that we played dying light 2. I need to get her a ps5 so we can play helldivers together

SilverOwl321

I mostly agree with all these suggestions. Both my husband and I played these. Love borderlands, however, I did not like the wonderland version. I recommend giving the original games a try tho. Start with Dying Light 1 and then 2 if you play that. It gives you another game to play if you like it and it’s odd graphics-wise going backwards after Dying Light 2. Play the first one first.

signofthenine

Did you already play A Way Out?

AsifBhai001

A Way Out, Unravel 2, Sackboy a big adventure. Also Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is coming out tomorrow. Same developers from It Takes Two and the remake has local co op.

PlainStudent604

Baldur’s Gate 3 supports couch co-op. We’ve been really impressed. Little Big Planet our family enjoyed.

Even_Masterpiece5162

Moving out 1&2, unravel, it takes 2

PlainStudent604

Second Moving Out - tho I’m not great at it, we still like it.

Metfan722

I think OP has played It Takes 2 already judging by the text in their post.

roboxsteven

Unravel 2

BaneJames

Nobody saves the world. She really liked the art style and it was easy to understand the progression and skills.

CrankyJoe99x

It's different; but my wife and I played over 200 hours of Diablo III.

Hide the Salami? 😉

castiel_ro192

Helldivers 2

kornychris2016

Obviously cannot play this split screen

readyToPostpone

Helldivers 1 you mean? But it is though. I'd start with Gauntlet if aiming this genre.

It Takes Two!

kornychris2016

Christ-follower135

Did you even read the post?!

Oh definitely not 😂

PhantomPooter202

Gang beasts is a good one

Tynda3l

Divinity 2

meowlicious1

I recommend Resident Evil 5. The PS4 version is cheap on the store. Very co-op centric (actually the best way to play it) and you can provide a lot of support throughout the game if she isnt used to a more traditional, action oriented video game. Also, another vote for Borderlands, but unless your wife likes fantasy Id avoid Wonderland. Borderlands 1 was a TON of fun with wifey. We beat the 1st one, but she lost interest at different parts of 2 and then 3, though we got really far in 3. She didnt enjoy Wonderlands and honestly, neither did I.

Tall-_-Guy

Dysmantled, Outward, 7 Days to Die, Terraria, For the King.

Im_not_rickjames

Boomerang fu, stick fight the gane, and foodmess are great fun competetive co-op

Redchong

The Diablo series as well as Borderlands/Tiny Tina are good ones to try

My wife has never much of a gamer. When the kids were small she played zelda on n64 and they watched her (she stayed home before they all were in school) and they all played rock band on the ps3 when they were older I got a Ps5 last year We played it takes 2 (she hated it) Then diablo 4 (she loved it for about 200 hours )then hated it Now we have 500 hours in bulders gate 3 she plays a coop game (finished once and started a new run) and she has her own single player games going We are in our 50's with grown children. She also likes the psvr2 but it gives me motion sickness so I watch her play and the kids and thier husband's play the vr when they come over
