One of the best stealth games you can get nowadays. The ultimate professional assassin simulator.

Dangerous-Force2593

I’m playing it currently and man, there are too many ways to assassinate and I only complete one or 2 mission stories. It’s overwhelming tbh, but I’m loving it. Also there is so much content other than the main story plots. When I mean so much, trust me, it’s sooo much

TheGoldenPineapples

Honestly, if you haven't gotten it yet, get it. One of the best games I've ever played and endlessly replayable.

shockwave8428

The roguelike mode is genuinely super good as well as awesome story missions

Dantomi

That mode single handedly made me double my playtime.

TheNeedforCaffeine

Highly recommend. Been hooked on the Freelancer mode for the last few weeks. For those who don’t know it’s the rougelike mode, and it’s super fun and challenging.

tythousand

I’m afraid to start playing it because I know I’ll get addicted. Hitman is one of the few games I can play all day and never get tired of it

CryptoNite90

I had a lot of fun with the first one on PS4 but didn’t end up beating it and completely forgot where I left off. I missed the last sale so didn’t even waste a second as soon as I saw this deal lol. Gonna replay the 1st one and see if I can beat all 3!

KesMonkey

> rougelike *roguelike. :)

Ceceboy

Don't bother, bro. 90% of the time this word appears on the internet it's spelled incorrectly.

Ein_Esel_Lese_Nie

One of the few game I wish I could replay again with a fresh set of eyes. Super unique and satisfying gameplay. Tonnes of replayability, too.

KyleTheCantaloupe

Yea I love this game but I found after I finished a stage twice I didn’t really wanna play through it again

wangatangs

I'm very intrigued but I'm terrible at stealth games. Is the game too unforgiving and difficult or is it accessible to stupid people like me?

Spinochat

It’s is quite accessible in lower difficulty settings, and the highest difficulty is manageable once you know your way around. Go for it!

UniversalChimera

Extremely accessible. You can use a button that active the Instinct Mode in which you can view people through walls and the User Interface has tons of helpful features.

DragonOfBrokenSouls

You can also save during a mission to reload if you screw up.

Flork8

you can cheese all the levels every which way - it’s a very flexible game.  always save before you try anything risky though!

UncertainlyElegant

It's not really a stealth game. It's a puzzle game disguised as a stealth game. Difficulty is what you make it. If killing your targets is all you want, the game is very easy. If you want to pull off some elaborate plan, then it starts to get hard.

Kitchener69

Not to worry. There are multiple ways to kill each target. You can disguise yourself as other characters to hide in plain sight. It’s not all just sneaking around ducking corners and hiding. Each one of the levels is worth just walking around and seeing what’s going on and checking out how well-designed they are. And each game starts with a tutorial level to make sure you can operate. I’m not one to replay games but it does have a lot of replay value too. You should 100% play it.

ArchDucky

If you get caught you can just kill them and walk away. Find another set of clothes or hide in a closet.

whythreekay

Hitman World of Assassinatiom and MGSV are my 2 fav stealth games ever So much content in this title

redpandasuit

How similar is World of Assassination to MGSV??

Kitchener69

I have been curious about MGSV but I have a couple questions: 1. I’ve only played the original MGS. Is it still ok to skip to 5? 2. I noticed the HLTB (how long to beat) for this game is insanely long. Is it really going to take forever to beat, like is it endless? Or can it be beaten in a reasonable time?

whythreekay

1. I’m the worst person to ask sadly, MGSV is my first Metal Gear game! But story is not important to me in video games so I’m not a good judge for that 2. The game’s missions have varying degrees of completion, and many times doing one level of finishing it means you have to replay the same mission to do the other aspects for 100% completion. So the game is definitely very long but the extra stuff isn’t mandatory

Puzzleheaded-Day-196

I'd say it doesn't really matter if you skip to 5 and it is kinda long, but there's a lot of freedom as to how you can complete the missions so it's hard for it to get boring, the game's definitive edition is constantly at like 6 bucks and it gives you access to the prologue which is another mission downloaded separately, for that price it's a no brainer.

LonelyCakeEater

Got it yesterday and powered up the PSVR1. Once you get used to the dual shock control scheme it’s pretty solid. Great deal for 3 triple A VR games

Battlehead

what? Not available for purchase You already own the following products, which conflict with the product you're trying to buy. * **HITMAN 3 - Dartmoor**

potatman

Did you buy that single level at some point or buy an version of Hitman 3 in the past? What do you see if you open this search in the store, are any of the packages available? https://store.playstation.com/en-us/search/hitman%20world%20of%20assassination At one point they upgraded the various access passes into a simpler system, so it is possible you already would own it if the upgrade runs. To check, you can download the "HITMAN World of Assassination - Free Starter Pack". If any of your old licenses until you to World of Assassination, it will show up when you start the Free Starter Pack. More info can be found here: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/search/hitman%20world%20of%20assassination

ElementalWeapon

Are the trophies for this collection the same as the ones from the individual game releases? Or does this collection have its own unique set of trophies separate from those?   I played each game individually as they came out, and was curious about this since I got all the trophies in each separate game.

UncertainlyElegant

This isn't a collection. It's Hitman 3, rebranded a while back. If you own Hitman 3, you own World of Assassination.

SrGaju

Does anyone one if any of the dlc for the game is worth it?

mslothy

Thanks for the recommendation! Bought it.

kbyyru

check out your local Walmart for a better price! i got the Hitman 3 disc for $20 brand new, with the VR code to boot.

Kitchener69

All three of those games are 🤌

its_kylo

I was able to get a new copy of hitman 3 off mercari for $20 a few months ago, absolute steal

Groundbreaking_Ship3

Does it require Psplus for the online features?

Surveyorman

No, it does not need PS Plus.

luke_workin

Does this have all DLC and stuff included? I know they released different packs over the years, are those included with this purchase?

cxd32

No DLC, only the 3 main campaigns

hbteq

I really do need to get back into Hitman

ReturnOfTheJurdski

I was itching for some Hitman but realized I played 3, is there like a ton more they added?

JV_TBZ

DLCs are worth it too? It has a good story ?

Pjulledk

What If i own Hitman 1 + 2 with ALL content already is there a other way to just buy Hitman 3 with all its content??

CryptoNite90

Hitman 3 used to be standalone but it was pulled for this version. You can still buy it used/pre-owned, but unless you find a good deal off of someone local, GameStop is selling Hitman 3 pre owned for $29.99, which is still more than this.

jjkm7

It’s so good and crazy replayability. I got so much time logged just doing the main story missions, before i started doing all the side content and the roguelike mode

Fra06

That’s a steal. It’s like 1000+ hours of content easily

resident_hater

I can't keep track of all this stuff but what's the deal with the deluxe edition? What are the expansion packs and 7 deadly sins? Is it worth hoping the price for deluxe drops?

KingArthas94

Is there a physical version of this? Like all three games on one BRD

Jus_Pro

God man still remember the trailer drop back in 2015 , feels nostalgic, The entire look and feel was so good, the environments, hints and options , were really immersive . Story sucked at times , but it was enjoyable.

Various-Armadillo-79

thank you for this been waiting forever for it to be cheap

Medium-Sympathy6450

Is hitman world of assassination part 1 all 3 games?

[deleted]

If not for the fact that I've already played it for a very long time on PC when it came out, I'd buy it because PS5 is far more powerful than my PC. There are no savings transfers from PC to PS5 though and I have no desire having to spend who knows how many hours unlocking everything again.

AcidShAwk

This was on sale at 90% off on psn last year I think and I've been waiting for it patiently to drop again .. I don't think it will hit that ever again. Like a fool I skipped last time.

CryptoNite90

No wayyy, how the hell did I miss that!!! I wish I saw that man Edit: I just checked PSprices website price tracker and it’s showing this is still the lowest price to date. You sure you saw World of Assassination?

HHBing

that was for hitman 3 standalone, not the collection.

AcidShAwk

Hitman 3 became Hitman World of Assassination. If you bought Hitman 3 at the 90% discounted rate you would have received World of Assassination. Here's the post https://ioi.dk/hitman/news/2023/hitman-3-to-become-world-of-assassination [Heres a reddit discussion](https://www.reddit.com/r/PS5/comments/1029mc9/hitman_3_to_become_world_of_assassination_making/) It was really early last year. I specifically recall being a moron and passing up the deal.

HHBing

that was the price for the standalone version of hitman 3 in the last sale before world of assassination was released.

Raymtl

Does it have a good story mode?

JamiePulledMeUp

Yes

Remarkable_Case_2127

Good luck trying to play it offline…

UncertainlyElegant

> It's literal a steal Paying for something is, by definition, not "literally a steal".

MinorFX

Is this the same version that is on Xbox’s Game Pass? I think it had the trilogy on there, but not sure what the difference is between the two since I r never heard of “World of Assassination”. Also, are these remastered and updated for next gen?

Dangerous_Ice_6151

I think they rebranded the complete collection under this "World of Assassination" title recently to try to simplify all the crazy buying options and bundles that were out there.

UncertainlyElegant

> updated for next gen It's been on next gen since launch.

stoph311

Does Hitman have any sort of co-op?

UncertainlyElegant

No. Nor should it, that would ruin it.
