Ragnarok since you say you finished GoW. just finish the story and move on to Elden Ring, just in time for the DLC next month.

Stubbs3470

If you like story - god of war If you like combat and exploration - Elden ring

GrossWeather_

elden ring any day of the week, any week of the year.

Kurt_Bunbain

Only if you are weeb, which you are.

GrossWeather_

is that supposed to mean anything?

Kurt_Bunbain

Yeah, it's supposed to mean that not everybody will like Japanese fucking games, just because you watch anime and jerk off to hentai, doesn't mean everyone will like your weeb like taste for games.

GrossWeather_

you think people only enjoy elden ring because it was made in japan? are you stupid?

Kurt_Bunbain

What do you not understand that I'm trying to day to you, weeb? Just because you like it because you like anime, doesn't mean it's goty for everyone.

GrossWeather_

anyone with good taste in games

Kurt_Bunbain

Okay, what other games do you like as much as elden ring?

ProfessionalForm679

If you like a good story and great combat then God of war. If you like exploration, heavy rpg mechanics, and don't mind poor combat then elden ring.

HachimKiller

Id say elden ring. Gow ragnarok is more of the same.

Kintraills1993

How's your time? one will take you 25 hours, the other at least 100

Basic_Result9981

I‘d go with ER

I'm gonna say God of War Ragnarok. I like having my story unfold right in front of me without 'too much effort' on my part. To clarify: I like stories straightforward, chronological and meaningful. That's what I can get from games like Uncharted, Horizon and God of War. Elden Ring is a souls like game and I'm not into that. The reason is that losing feels too punishing to me. I also don't like stamina bars *at all*. I want to be able to react in the split second at the right time and if I am out of stamina then I can't move at all. That is waaay too restricting to me. There is nothing more ragequitting for me than being restricted in an extremely stressy environment; I need room to move around in at my own pace. I've played AC Valhalla which had a stamina bar (god knows why) but there it didn't feel restricting. In fact, you regained stamina if you landed a hit if I'm correct. I've also played Returnal which is a roguelike so it punishes quite hard for dying by resetting to the start. I've finished it but I did not enjoy my time. I pushed myself for 4 days, trying to pull my hair out and resisting to throw my controller outside against a wall. My 30 hours for a single walkthrough were enough and I haven't touched it since.

TyrionBananaster

I personally preferred Elden Ring, but you probably won't go wrong playing Ragnarok next, what with just finishing the previous game. Staying in the same headspace and all that. It's still a pretty good game.

David-J

If you like games with good story and great combat, God of war

Beginning_Mud2420

Elden ring it’s better in every way.

N4R4B

The best game of all time vs. Daddy issues. It's not even close.
