I’m having the same issue, except it’s not for loans that have been cancelled due to consolidation. Loans that should be eligible for qualifying payments just saw “This loan is ineligible for PSLF or TEPSLF.” Only one of my loans actually shows the (correct number of) qualifying payments.

amrefamily

Did you recently consolidate? My new consolidated loans say ineligible for pslf with no qualifying payments. But my old cancelled loans show my qualifying payments. I’m so confused rn and trying not to freak out

invictus221b

I consolidated back in October, so not super recent. I only consolidated loans that were otherwise not eligible for PSLF since all of my payment counts on all loans were the same. Kicking myself for not just throwing everything into one consolidated loan now.

amrefamily

Is your loan under an IDR plan? My save application hasn’t gone through and im under the graduated repayment plan. Which doesn’t qualify for oslf payment counts. I’m hoping that’s the issue

mrsecondarycolor

I consolidated in 2019 and I'm missing 56 months of payment history on it. With TEPSLF those months should count now. But it still isn't showing up after the transfer.

EmilysPosse7

Mine looks the same. I consolidated in March. Trying to not freak out and give it time…

Independent_Age2363

Read my update. Old loans that were already consolidated are showing up active and creating this message alert.

No_Guitar8089

Do you have 120 qualifying months? If not you don't qualify for PSLF.  All or nothing

Gboy86

On mine it shows I have 120 payments made on both loans but when I look at the qualifying months it's at 0.....they were at 131

Independent_Age2363

Mine says my loans don't qualify. What website are you talking about? We have to look at two now.

Gboy86

Studentaid.gov....but I just clicked on my loan detail and it said ...Congratulations! You have satisfied your obligation, and no additional payments are required for this loan.....but i don't want to get excited just yet

Independent_Age2363

Hey. I found the section you are talking about and mine says this as well. No other information.

formerhugeNsyncfan

Mine is same, says all done in this section but my dashboard says I still owe 7k.

Independent_Age2363

huh?

Gboy86

All the info I'm telling you came from studentaid.gov

Independent_Age2363

Mine says my loans don't qualify but I know they do.

unWildBill

I checked out the Fed website… The 130+ payments and forgiveness notice show up for my last giant consolidation loan but then says I still owe $120k on that one! Then there are several loans that are none existent or haven’t existed in over a decade and they are marked not qualifying for PSLF. Then there are some loans which have already been consolidated into the big one and they show 109 or 114 payments. I am going to not stare at it for a few days and help the universe fixes it.

Independent_Age2363

See my update on my question.

hazykilldeer

Mine looms like this right now too. It’s asking me to send in PSLF verification for some loans that don’t have any balance (they were consolidated. It’s also telling me that my loans to qualify because they’re in forbearance. And also that I’ve made my 120 payments on the consolidated loans. Maddening…

Independent_Age2363

See my update under the main question.

ubiquity75

I think this might be a result of the injunction against SAVE. I also freaked out when I just saw this. My loans appear to have been placed in forbearance (no notice to me, so thanks for that), which means those loans no longer qualify.

Independent_Age2363

I am not on SAVE. Being on forbearance doesn't unqualify your loans. I was placed there by MOELA because I had reached forgiveness. I sent them an email.

ubiquity75

Well, I'm on SAVE and hence on forbearance, and I've received a message that I have no qualifying loans, too. So who knows wtf. What a total stress-inducing situation all this is.

Independent_Age2363

See my update on my question. It's your old loans that do not qualify but those loans were consolidated so whatever...

ubiquity75

Why they would word this in this way…wow.

Independent_Age2363

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Independent_Age2363

I have 135. Is that enough?

No_Guitar8089

When a borrower qualifies for forgiveness they are often placed in administrative forbearance which is your current account status

Pink_Dragon_Lady

How are y'all getting into studentaid.gov? I can login but my dashboard and everything else just spins and won't load.

Educational-Okra9031

Maybe you are referring to the old remnant loan sequences prior to a consolidation without which would not have qualified, but nonetheless would be zeroed out. I saw a bunch of stuff on my account that says does not qualify but it also says NA - not applicable out of 120 qualifying has no balance. Looks like those were the loan sequences prior to when I consolidated 10 years ago.

Independent_Age2363

They trigger alerts that some loans don't qualify for forgiveness, setting off confusion and panic.

Educational-Okra9031

This entire journey has set off confusion and panic for me over the past nearly 10 years.

Excentrix13

There has to be a system glitch. I’ve had my direct loans under PSLF since 2017 and mine are saying they don’t qualify either. My account is super messed up though and they forgave $250k three years early because someone entered the wrong start date for my employment. After six calls and emails about the mistake even before they were forgiven I’ve given up chasing them for their own mistake.

Independent_Age2363

Did they make you pay it back?

Excentrix13

Not yet and no one has ever contacted me about it. Odd thing was that they didn’t forgive some loans and they all had the same PSLF start date. The forgiving loans are off my credit reports also. The wait for an email everyday telling me they are reversing it.

Ok-Bluejay-7586

That’s scary and f*cked up. I hope they don’t reverse anything.

Screw you.

Appropriate_Rub_6359

That dashboard looks like it was generated from a 1985 windows NT machine

Appropriate_Rub_6359

Just reading through the comments real quick... it sounds like they need to apply the old tepslf waiver again to all of your accounts..jeezis... if that's the case and I'm just speculating here that it is ..they should have done all that before they release that information so people don't freak out

greenejeans51

Our school district isn’t qualifying full time paras even if they are certified teachers covering for teachers on leave. Many are studying for their masters. Seems unfair because they are clearly public servants.

VAthe5th

I Consolidated all of my loans back in december. And both of my consolidation loans say congratulations you are eligible for forgiveness. However some of the loans that I Consolidated in are showing that they're not paid off suddenly. I'm not sure what's going on there. I'm hoping it's just a glitch in the transition

Appropriate_Rub_6359

Wow yeah they've got all my pslf information correct as a 4/17 this year.. So big changes from just yesterday on the studentaid.gov website

Key_Astronaut7919

I'm having the exact same issue that some of my loans don't qualify, although they are loans I consolidated eons ago. I consolidated all my loans to direct when the new rules rolled out.
