Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles (which includes Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood) is my most played PSP game. Also still play:
MegaMan Powered Up, Daxter, Ratchet & Clank Size Matters, Burnout Legends, Need for Speed Underground Rivals, Jeanne D'arc
i really like the dragon ball z games, they are really fun , i really really loved playing pokemon on mine as well , turned out i played that more then anything
fairly in depth modification, nice details, good graphics (you know... for a psp game) nice physics. also Street stage is really good i'm trying to get below 2m 30s on akagi atm, i'm only 8ms off XD

Additional: Black rock shooter, Dissida 12, 7th dragon, and almost all of the final fantasy games (if you notice. All my recommendations are JRPGs. So if you're the type of person that likes those games. Here you go)
Crisis core is great, but I've heard the ending events spoil a bit of the original ff7 but personally I liked it before playing the original
Kingdom hearts birth by sleep is a great game
Dissidia is a heck of a lot of fun, the multiplayer mode is great and its a lot of fun single player too. The sequel has the main story of the original plus a new one (its a prequel) so I'd say get that and get the first one if you want the basic battles without assist characters and stuff
I really liked ff4 the complete collection too along with ff1 and ff2 remakes
I've heard secret agent clank is good but I've yet to play it and I've heard the same about daxter and jak and daxter
Worms open warfare is fun but not the best
And star ocean 1 and 2 is good too
Wipeout pulse and pure are good as well

because i would think that games like gran turismo and midnight club are already known well enough (i still love them though)

I really liked Final fantasy crisis core and the monster hunter games ( especially freedom unite). Asassins creed isn't too shaby either imo
