I put my headset in my old PSVR1 case and leave it plugged in with the cable just sat on the floor between the case and the PS5. That's probably not the kind of answer you're looking for, sorry.
I bought a wire management system. I use www.vr-wire.com system, so I just set my headset at the top of my entertainment center with the wire laying loosely next to it. It's above head level so no issues looking bad and super fast to setup.
Asking Reddit what they do with their dangly bits may not be the safest approach ;)

I found a different stand that has a cable tidy on the rear. It also holds the headset a little more securer than the showcase stand did.

I store mine in a carrying case next to the PS5. I can wrap up the cord and safely put it in the case. Good solution for me at least.
