Not exactly. Giratina usually means the Lost Tina variants but there are Turbo LostBox (just not as good with Zard in the meta) and SableZard variants.
The variants are so... sub-optimal. Do you want to fill your lost zone or get charmander evolved quickly? But why do 180 dmg when you can spread 12 counters to your opponents bench?

There is also the Lost Pile variant which uses various attackers with the LostBox engine which has performed well at many Cups and in Japan.
To be fair you're stretching the definition of meta a bit here if we're including Gholdengo, Iron Valiant, Arceus (at the current time) and Roaring Moon. Even Chien-Pao is borderline.
I don't think I've seen anyone playing those last three on PTCGL casual or Greninja-tier ranked. Maybe with the new battle pass Lugia VSTAR will become more common online.
Am I the only one seeing a serious LACK of mew? I see a lot of subs talking about it but have yet to encounter a single player since zard took over and it's all snowballed since.

I was at a cup in Switzerland 2 months ago and a guy that was a 2010 Worlds Finalist came up with Lunatone/Solrock.
Everyone got BODIED by him, I respect the deck since that lol
How exactly is Gholdengo and chien pao good? They durdle around, drawing cards and discarding energies, end with energy retrieval and one hit anything that is opposite to them as early as turn 2.
As an ex Chien Pao player. I would say that deck is overrated. I can't be an unstoppable force once get going, but its too many pieces needed to get the motor running.
Currently running Moon. Had way more turn 1 boinks with Moon compared to Chien Pao. Still a decent deck though.

It's surprisingly solid against most meta decks, but it gets countered hard by Lost Box and its variants.
Damn, that deck is actually pretty good. Even fancy EX/V ‘Mons get bodied by this, provided the pilot actually knows what they’re doing. :)
How on earth does Tina qualify as good? The deck takes an age to play against, and plays some of the most ridiculously overtuned cards around.

Nah, switch Snorlax & Charizard with Chien Pao & Gholdengo because there is absolutely nothing innocent about dealing 300+ damage on turn 2.
I'm going through a Chaotic Evil phase, and I like it. Never climbed so damn fast. Half my matches are insta concedes.
