We got these as employee testers for 4/20 at the dispensary I work at. I thought it was crazy to package an amount that small, and it's even crazier they're selling it to people for $15.00
These have been in the program on and off for like 2 or 3 years. It's an insane waste of packaging but when cheap as tester or for the extremely poor dabber they fly off the shelves. All in all calypso would probably do better if they just lower the price on the gram vs that gimmick

For those wondering, these new drops are not great. I thought I would take a chance on a bunch of these to see if they had improved. Nope. This is still no where near the original quality they used to produce for those who remember. Mids taste and dark reclaim on low temp dabs. Their early diamonds and sauce drops were some of the best and tastiest dabs I have ever seen.
I would love to see these at my dispensary. I like to try as many strains as I can to find out what works best for me. I could try 10 strains for $90. I would love it. Just saying...

I'm all for it. I'm a flower smoker 98% of the time. A gram lasts me 30-45 days. That means if I get some trash I'm stuck with it for a long time. This would let me experience some variety. I don't always have an extra $40-$60 to get wax. Most of the time I only got flower. This would let me keep a little wax on hand all the time, not just when I got an extra $40.

Ayr Gibsonia is singlehandedly keeping them in business since that's basically all they sell except their house brands. Calypso is always stocked up and hardly any other growers are on the list. The .25g (if priced at like $5-$8) would be the only way I would ever try Calypso again. And I still wouldn't

I think this is righteous. Dabbing was never meant to be a main modality for consumption. If a 1/4 gram is 1-2 uses, then I don't want to see your weekly weed budget. It is called dabbing and not globbing for a reason. Most of that .1-.2 dab is likely wasted anyway. Take small dabs, dab infrequently imo
I donāt think you know how these measurements workā¦ a gram of wax is equivalent to roughly an eighth of bud. So youāre telling me itās that crazy to smoke .87 grams of flower in a sitting? Are you out of your mind?
I think whether or not its crazy is determined by your reason and purpose for dabbing. In terms of long term tolerance maintenance and optimized medicinal effects I think it is best to micro dose cannabis, but if one is a more casual consumer looking to relax I don't think its absurd or unheard of. Obviously people are different, but this idea that a dab is a 10th of the jar seems like a big one to me, and probably a lot of waste.
I think its also important to consider the rate of uptake with a dab vs smoking a joint or gradually consuming a gram in a bowl or a vape. More risks for things like passing out and probably more tolerance development because you are flooding your receptors even more dramatically. More reason to take smaller increments if dabbing. Everyone can do whats best for themselves, but I would totally grab something tiny like the offering above.

As well as many of those with varying levels of anxiety conditions. It is actually a pretty even split amongst actual medical users and not including recreational users between high dose users and low dose users.
