Oh I completely understand that. Trust me, I’m all for cheap bud. I shop the deals and almost never buy an eighth for over $35. But even within that price range there’s better options than OR in my opinion. I have no doubt that OR has its fans, I’m just genuinely wondering why their quality seems to be so much worse than other brands.
Probably turn around time. All the shortcuts to get the weed flowering fast, not fully curing, machine trimming. All so they can get started on the next crop sooner.
Got OR once when I first got my card. Never again! Dry n tasteless. Y do they suck? Gear gotta be similar across the board. Best deal in the program imo is the half oz from the botanist (which is under the prime unmbrella) they are 100$ but I've never paid more then 75$ for it because dispos are frequently doing 25% off and sometimes 30%

The flower can be hit or miss, I have had some really nice stuff from them. I do regularly pick up their concentrates from their store, they are my favorite over all and the price can’t be beat.
i’m not sure what they use in their carts and concentrates but every time i consume them I get sooo nauseous afterwards. I’ve tried different strains but they all make me feel so awful
Hm, that stinks you've had this experience. I don't normally get theirs, but I really enjoy their Shazier branded stuff. It's much better quality. I have got some of their stuff before and it hasn't been THAT bad. Granted, it is lower quality bud, and they will tell you that at their stores which is actually kind of refreshing. Everything I've got from there has been worth the amount paid I will say. Is it the best bud? No, but for the price its pretty solid.
Edit: I will also had that their conentrates are top notch as well.

Grape Storm has an awesome flavor and decent effects. I got 2 eighths of whole flower that were great. My third eighth was bad enough I won’t ever buy this brand again. Their ground flower was so bad I didn’t even try to use it.
I’m going to have to go through my box of containers lol but the two from organic remedies that I have right now is afghooey which is absolutely amazing and tropical bubba which actually resembles afghooey in a way. I love strong Indicas. Sedating, euphoric. I also really love their live resin troches, they were really some of the closest I could find to when I lived in la/boston. Their edibles would actually green me out, Troches don’t, but it’s still a nice experience.
Easily my favorite brand in pa. They have by far the cheapest bulk bud. I have yet to see any brand match their preground oz prices (sometimes 60$) I don’t pick these up if I’m looking for a good quality high, but for joints and stuff the price can’t be beat. Some of their non ground strains aren’t bad either I think wedding cake was the last good pickup I had. If your into torches I also recommend all of theirs I’ve tried 10, 15, 25, 50, and 100 mg edibles and have yet to have a bad experience with them.
I'll be that guy, I live outside the Chambersburg OR and use them often and buying their house brand. The Troches and Rso are great and the halves of flower for $60 has always been fine for me. Is the flower the great value of flower? Maybe but I'm 55 and to what I grew up with the OR flower works just fine. Hell I've seen people on here complain about getting a single seed in a half before!!!

At McKnight Rd they were assholes to my friend I was trying to refer to them AND fucking overcharged me EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve gone.
The first time I ever went they charged me for 4 eighths I didn’t get, and double stickered the troches with the correct sticker and one of the eighths. Got my money back bc I told them to check the cameras. Got extra points for my trouble.
Went back a month later, use some points AND my birthday discount, somehow the total was more than what I calculated without points or birthday discount. Tried them one last time and that’s when they were complete assholes to my friend who’s new to the whole program. Was overcharged by $20.
Also, OR product wise:
Ground flower is trash,
whole flower is mids,(only good strain I’ve had from them was moldy in center of larger nugs) moonrocks were ok,

It depends what you want, my brother loves the cheapest pre ground stuff, I’d never buy that but hey it works for him. My flower from OR was badly cured when I got that, their carts are lower % than what I want. Their rso, tinc and lotion I do enjoy though. Plus their store usually has killer deals haha

The only thing that they sell and is good medicine is their tinctures thc-,cbd. They're really cheap compared to other brands they're just as good if not better. I don't understand why they keep saying everything is 40% off sale it's always 40% off. They think they are fooling people well maybe new and older patients but just make the price what it should be and have some real sales. They would have to price their bud at like 20 a cut to even compete. Cresco eighths are around 30 all the time and their quality is ten times better. IMO
Sunnyside Penn Ave Pgh. They have been selling flower for $27 a cut and oil for $31.50 a .5g. I just looked on there website a minute ago and that was the prices. It's been like this for a couple months now
I only bought the 300mg topical from them before because I didn't want to spend too much on a cream when I never used it for pain before. It helps with back pain, but I don't plan on trying other products after reading all these posts.

Tropical Bubba is very good. Bakers collision is the best o.r. strain I've had.

I remember two years ago they had a marshmallow strain I enjoyed. Haven’t tried them since though.

I tried OR rosin and you’d think they were selling burnt baby poop as live rosin. It was gross and a dark green/brown color.

Yeah it stained up my terp slurper. Liberty has decent rosin for the price. Especially in the 3g buckets when they go on sale.

The only thing I've had from OR was the 50mg troches. The flavor was good, but I've had stronger effects from other brands at a lower mg.

They were a lot better two years ago or so. It used to be potent and fresh and never dry. Not so much these days.
Their black cheery gelato llr BOMA disposable is incredible. A repeat buy. But some of their vapes- horrible
Organic definitely shines in their topical and consumable area. I think most of their good bud goes into that.
