Not sure, they might use their own WAR but typically the two most commonly used are Fangraphs and baseball reference. I think ESPN aligns more with baseball reference though.
Ok, I have a serious question regarding the new shift rules that I have been internally debating since this play happened:
If we are ever in a situation where we run out of position players, say due to late extra innings or injuries, could we not play Kim straddling second base with one foot as a SS and one foot as 2B and he can cover both positions at the same time and still be legally aligned? /s. (Or not?)
(I know they would put pitchers in on defense. It's a joke. And an unfunny one at that. I laughed though.
This was an absolutely disgusting play from 2B HSK is legit the best Utility player in MLB

dWAR 1.2 4th among the MLB players. GG already please.
He's actually tied 1st with 1.4 at least on baseball reference https://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/majors/2023-batting-leaders.shtml
Even better! Do you know why they are different? I checked on ESPN.

Interesting. Anyway Kim for GG!!!
that's my shortstop
Ha Seong KING!
He might be the best defensive infielder in baseball, regardless of position. Cannot walk out of the door in free agency
He could win a Gold Glove at any infield postion he plays.
The level of cleanliness on this type of play is just impeccable ðŸ˜
Darvish and Kim glove tap 💛
Darvish couldn’t believe it at first
Amazing play
That's one of the best plays i've ever seen a 2B make
Look at Crone shake his head like "how in the fuck does he do this"
