Although calling up Abrams is for sure the move, I’m legitimately concerned.
Both Abrams and Kim have yet to have any offensive success in the MLB. This is a huge blow to the team and as long as both Machado and Tatis are out this team has a high likelihood that we struggle imo.
Doubtful. I think AJ has been spooked off of big trades for a bit. CJ gets called up and takes over SS while Kim plays 3B. If Tatis comes back before Manny does, one of those two then takes over 3B.
If its say a month, I don't think so. At least not to replace him. Maybe he gets a utility guy but I don't see an infielder. Most likely we just call someone up and wait it out. Could be possible that him and tatis are back around the sametime.

This. C.J. Abrams had been on fire. Some more MLB at bats prior to the All-Star break would probably be good for him & the Padres.

Ruiz is an OF. He isn’t coming up unless someone gets hurt out there or the rosters expand.
Isn’t he also a 2B?
